If you didn't know already, Termini Brothers is an excellent Italian Bakery. Everyone that enjoys Cannoli has their favorite and for me it's Termini Brothers Cannoli, that is at the top of my list! But Termini Brothers isn't just about the Cannoils, they have a great selection of traditional Italian Cakes and Cookies. If Italian Pastries isn't your thing, they also have a selection of American Pastries, like Cupcakes, NY Cheesecake and etc. The big Termini Brothers Bakery is located at 1523 S 8th St, Philadelphia, PA 19147, if you've never been I highly recommend you make time to check it out.

Hands down, best cannoli I have ever consumed. Ever. I opted for the ricotta with chocolate chips. Powdered sugar is a must. Prices are slightly steep, averaging approx. $5/pastry. Worth every penny in my opinion. The filling is so smooth and perfectly sweet. Not overly sweet. I could eat it with a spoon They sell a dozen half cannolis for $30 if you do not want to spend $60 for 12 full size. The half size is plenty.

Cannooooooliiiii - Can't say no to this one!

No soggy Cannolli here!!! I think these cannolis are perfecto! Every cannoli is filled on the spot no matter how big or small the order. This maintains the crispy shell before eating which is perfect. Every time I've had one the shell is crispy, unlike some places which are filled prior and the shell is soggy. The fillings are lightly sweet, there are two different options for fillings; chocolate chip ricotta filling and a vanilla cream. Of these two, I've tried both and I definitely dig the ricotta. The final dusting of powdered sugar on top is the cherry on top. Perfect! I've had a few other items here and they are great as well. I haven't had the opportunity to get a cake but they sure do look pretty. The restaurant is always spotless and the people behind the behind the counter awesome. This outpost is a little out of the way but closes later than other Termini Brothers which is ideal for me.

[716] Yum! Plenty of parking in this strip mall location .. well unless there is a Phillies game as it's next to Chickie and Petes. My cousin told me about this location so I had to stop since I visit the one in the Comcast center. Plus I drove past many time and didn't look into the strip mall. Late hours so nice to be able to pick up dessert after work. We stopped in for a few different sweets and loved them all. The cannoli was tasty especially with the chocolate chips. The chocolate covered banana was divine. My son destroyed the chocolate mousse cake... As he calls it "Chocolate Mouse cake". It's a personal portion for $5 so it's perfect for one person. There are a few tables so you can sit and enjoy your treat in the bakers. There are also a few comfy chairs which my guys enjoyed while I picked out a few things. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Another staff member was busy but once a second customer walked in she stopped what she was doing and helped him instead of making him wait. Very cool. I'll definitely be back.

Cute store of Termini compared to the other stores. Very friendly staff. Great location because it is in a complex with other businesses such as Chickie's and Pete's , Pastificio, Celebre pizza, PNC bank. They have pretty much their popular goodies such as the famous ricotta canoli, cupcakes, cake, cookies, and biscotti. The ricotta canoli is not watery, perfect sweetness with mini chocolate chip filled for your order so that you can taste the crunchiness of the shell. Best eaten right away to avoid sogginess. The chocolate covered banana is their specialty too. It's banana on an almond pastry with some cream and banana fillings. Their shoe horn is great too. It's basically an almond pastry with some almond paste. Its a must for almond lovers. The fig bar is filled with fig covered in a thin pastry. Another Italian pastry to try is sfogiatelle. The shell i a crunchy and layered pastry filled with ricotta andd a hint of citrus flavor that brings a fresh taste. For cookies, my favorite is the amaretti and pignoli. The cookie is very moist with almond paste. There is a display of their old equipment. There are some couches and chairs to enjoy their dessert in the store. A must visit for awesome dessert.

    Beautifully decorated tiramisu for Christmas!

The best! Our family's favorite birthday cake is the chocolate chip pound cake. The tiramisu and cannolis are also a must. Grab a cup of coffee to go with your treats while you are there!

Several days after my Termini Bros Bakery, and I'm still reeling from their amazing cannolis. So the story goes like this. I was staying at a hotel local to the stadiums and I wanted a good dessert without having to trek all the way to downtown, and paying a gazillion dollars for parking. Yelp lead me to Termini Bros, which luckily, one was about 2 minutes away. Hmm Cannoli huh. I haven't had a cannoli in ages, but I do recall, when I used to have them frequently, I rather enjoyed them, however never really craved for them. Well I didn't know what to expect really, so I went in there with an open mind. This particular Termini Bros is easy to find, easy parking too. Upon walking in, I was greeted very warmly by the ladies who worked the counter. They had three different flavors, so naturally I had to get all of them: the original which had chocolate chips, vanilla and chocolate. After a healthy dusting.. ok more like downpour of powdered sugar, i was well on my way. Well.. not really. I couldn't resist opening up the nice little box and taking that first bite. I tried the original. And MAN, that first bite, it blew my mind. The texture of the shell was unlike any other cannoli shell I'd ever had locally (CA), it was crispy and solid, no flimsiness at all. The mixture inside was decadent -- rich, but not to sweet. The chocolate chips were sweet and bitter all at once - just so many flavors going into each bite. Bite after bite, I promised to put it away and save the rest for my husband but alas, I'm a terrible wife. It never made it to him. The other flavors, chocolate and vanilla, were good, but nothing like their original. I wish there was a Termini Bros close to home, or at least a place that dished out cannolis just like these.

These guys had a great idea of putting this location in this shopping center, seeing what you got in there.... Its a great spot to pick up any of your favorite tasty Italian desserts, from the all knowing "cannoli" to cheesecakes and other fine fine treats.... I like to go and get an after dinner espresso and enjoy my personal favorite a sfogliatelle..that with a double espresso well thats just how does one say.. "Ohh Yeaa" Ok let me try to explain to you a "Sfogliatelle" this bad boy that i soooo love, ever since i was introduced to this in Italy as a little Nando!. It is a pastry that looks like a sea shell basically and it is flaky on the outside and on the inside is riccotta filled, but the riccotta has something mixed in it. It is mixed with an orange shaving,or candied orange(Or they would adda touch of lemon)... mixed with some cinnamon and a sugar to the riccotta and yeaaaaa its just that good. Now.. my family my mother has made this and she would add a little white rum (not a lot) a shot and a half in the mix. BAAAAAM!!! Knowledge bomb for ya The place is spotless and bright inside.. the staff is very helpful if you do not know what you are looking at , they will let you try it... My lovely wife was looking at a fig filled pastry, well lets just say she tasted this and we had to get 3 of them along with the box of sfogliatelle. good stuff on my end.. for an espresso and a treat stop in

Now I could tell you all about how perfectly tasty everything is. From the classic banana puddings (I prefer the caramel version myself,) to the cookies, to the pineapple upside-down mini cakes. Yes, I could tell you that. But I want to speak to something deeper. I want to speak to belonging and community; and to fairness. As a biracial person with a brown sister, I feel the pull to support black and brown businesses. It's not a secret. And sometimes you do it, and sometimes you privately think "Damn. I wanna be supportive but this place is a mess." Then there's Sweet Life. NOT that. FILLED with good product at a great price, delivered by owners and staff who actually give a damn about being loving and supportive to all different types of people. And did I mention the sweets are POPPIN'? And to that statement of fairness. Today I came in to place an order, and when the price came up, for a moment I thought "Damn. That is a lot higher than I remembered, but I am not about to question them. They set the price and that price is what they deserve." So I paid. But then I noticed there was more in my bag that I'd asked for, and that there had been a miscommunication. When I tell you that this miscommunication was corrected with swiftness *AND* a smile. No shade. No drama. Just an "Ooops, oh well, here's your refund on the balance." I know this seems very basic but we all know it isn't. We have all been in that awkward situation where as a customer we have to point out an error, and the vendor turns it into a Shakespearan tragedy. Not Sweet Life. "Oops. Sorry! Fixed. Love you." So, to recap: Stunningly delicious sweets. Prices fair as hell. Communicative, inclusive staff doing the right thing. You need to take those money dollers and haul your ass over here TODAY. Now...where did I put my insulin pen?

Pain aux raisin was good but not the best I've ever had. Would have liked them to be slightly thicker and crispier. Plenty of raisins though. Crème pâtissière was fantastic. Eclair was thin and dainty. I got this for my son as a safe bet. I tried a piece and I was so delighted to find it was filled with a chocolate pudding type of filling.
