SCAMMER BEWARE - I was a loyal customer to this company for years and when I tried to cancel "recommend" add on services to my annual termite warranty, they refused to remove the recurring charge and said my original warranty was no longer valid if I canceled the add on services. The customer service sucks and the products they use you can find at Lowe's or Home Depot. Do yourself a favor and don't trust any of those clowns, they will just scam you out of your hard earned money. read more

THE WORST PEST CONTROL. We had service through Ecoguard for 6/12 years and highly recommend them. We moved our pest control to Termio when they pitched us on bundling our pest control with termite prevention and that was the worst idea. We have seen 8 scorpions in less than 8 weeks inside our house. With 6 1/2 years with Ecoguard, we saw 1 scorpion the entire time. So bummed to write this about Termio.....specifically the manager Messiah. Been with them 5 years and love their technicians. Messiah tried to use fear as a factor to sell me additional termite coverage. I get business use tactics and want to make money but when you know you are being lied to...it sucks. He told me there was an infestation in my area and he had treated my neighbors house. I knew the houses he claimed to have bad infestations....they aren't even Termio customers so not sure how he treated their houses. I know my neighbours and will check....so I did and that didnt work out for Messiah. He is a sales man and honestly truthful offerings may not sell a lot of extra services, but it will potentially keep your existing customers. read more

We recently purchased a home that had a warranty for termites attached to it. They contacted us under the pretence that they were the company providing the warranty treatment for termites. They automatically arranged a visit for a post-move in inspection where they told us that our house was infested with termites (despite getting a termite inspection upon moving in). This company is a sham/fraud that is just trying to sell you things (and not provide a service). Also, stay away from Messiah, who tried to sell us that our neighbors had an infestation, so we did as well. I would never recommend this company to anyone. read more

I was initially skeptical of Termio due to the mail campaign that stated my house had a warranty from previous owner, however a neighbor had a great experience with Termio and I decided to try Termio. Our experience with Termio has been excellent. Robert R. came out to our house several times and did a very thorough job of examining the bugs and pests that were in the area, and treated the yard extensively with dry pellets, sprayed with pesticides, and replaced bait in the bait stations. Rob took the time to review the concerns we had, and spent the time to thoroughly cover and treat all areas that we pointed out, in addition to areas we had not reviewed. Stay away from this company! I recently was selling my home and the buyers had a termite inspection which necessitated treatment. The lender for the buyer needed a clear report to continue with the purchase. While Termio did come out and treat the property they refused to issue the required report. They wanted to charge me an additional $200 for a service which would not lead to them issuing the required form. I was told that to file the report "cost us money" so that is why they wouldn't do it. I requested a refund on the warranty and now they are refusing to do even that. They came out and treated just as advertised with no out of pocket cost. They also have excellent rates for pest control which the monthly rate includes the termite warranty built in. I have been trying to cancel their services for MONTHS, they continue to charge my card. They are basically stealing from me at this point. And now after several phones calls they tell me i have to pay a cancellation fee, which was NEVER previously mentioned. They charge monthly for a quarterly service. They are suppose to do the outside house perimeter as well as the inside but if I don't ask, they just spray outside and leave. All around a terrible experience. read more

I've had termio for a year with their termite warranty since I bought my house. Through their first inspection no termite activity was found new or old. At the time for them to do their annual check up I pointed out a spot where a door frame was deteriorating with termite tunnels on the inside. Termio said this was old damage, even though on house inspection and their first inspection yielded no sign of old damage. They told me they only treat if the tunnels appear on the outside of the frame. A month later a tunnel appeared on the outside. They then told me they can't come for 2 weeks to treat. Sad thing is their website says if you find a pest infestation they will come same day. I'll see what the treatment looks like, but I'll be shopping around when the warranty expires read more

I cannot tell you how impressed I was with the service to my home today! We have had many exterminators over the years and never had the quality we received today. Andrew sprayed our inside moving rugs and such which has never been done. He sprayed our entire acre and serviced each column in our block fence which also has never been done! If your smart you won't use this company. I got a quote from them for bi-monthly service of $53.00 every 2 months. They gave a discount of $45.00 the first month. Then after the first bill I got an email stating that the account was set up for monthly service at $45.00 but if I wanted bi-monthly service it would be $90.00. This was not the quote I got from them. I specifically said I wanted bi-monthly service and I was told it would be $53.00 bi-monthly. When I got the quote I told the girl that we had bi-monthly service with another pest control company but they were higher and we would have to call them every other month because the pest control person never would show up and we were tired having to call them every time. Same thing with Termino. Guy showed up the first time on time but after that we were having to call them again to find out where was the pest control service guy. I cancelled their service and now they are trying to charge me $110.00 cancellation fee because they gave me a discount so they said. Nothing was said about a cancellation fee when I got a quote from them. We are selling our home where we had the pest control service and I will not pay a cancellation fee. The termite inspection I just had was done by a young man named Dakota (just got out of the Marines). This company takes money out of your account without permission. A couple of years ago I bought my house the previous owner apparently had service with them so I had the option to continue the termite warranty they sent an invoice to renew the warranty. I chose to continue service, what a mistake. Now they automatically take money out of my account without my permission on top of not sending an invoice or even a receipt. Who does business like this? We "inherited" Termio's termite warranty from the previous home owner's of our new home. Taylor came out to do the annual inspection. He spent a lot of time with me discussing past issues I have had with pests and other exterminator companies. I was really impressed. When the contract expired, we signed one for the continued termite inspections as well as regular pest service. Keith, our tech, answered all of questions concisely. He was professional and thorough. We have had no problems since we moved in but id discuss what some of the issues homes are known to have in the far north valley. I felt like, when he left, he was familiar with us and our home. Cameron from Termio arrived on time and was ready to begin inspecting my new house for termites that were on the inspection report. After a solid review of the house and an inspection of the area that was called out during the initial home inspection he didn't see anything that would warrant a full treatment unless the original inspection company didn't actually treat anything. This shows true honesty and I greatly appreciate it. I will definitely be using Termio for any future concerns with termites (knock on wood we don't have termites in the future lol) and general pest control as we get settled into our new house. Termio Pest Control is a SCAM. There is no other way to say this. When you purchase a house, Termio uses publicly available information to send you a letter saying you have existing termite coverage through them. You have NEVER signed up with them before and they just "start" the coverage on your behalf without your permission. The specific wording they use is "This property has termite coverage with Termio, LLC through (insert date here)." This is 100% a scam. They are trying to trick you into signing up with them for termite service. This is NOT how a business should be run. I know for a fact that I have never talked with them about pest control, nor did the previous owners of the house. I know this because I have termite service through my closing from the previous owners with proper receipt and documentation. There are 4 other complaints on BBB against this company for this mailing scam and they're still doing it. Look at the photo I attached and tell me how this is NOT a scam if I've never signed up or ever spoke with them? I will keep working to bring light to their scam. I have time. read more

On May 10th, 2022, I had a Termio tech to my house for rats. When he arrived, he had only two traps. It was obvious, even to him, that two traps were not enough. That following Saturday I called the office because an awful smell was coming from my bedroom closet. This is where the entrance to our top attic is. I was told that they could not get anyone out until Tuesday. We ended up removing the dead rat ourselves. Tuesday, another tech comes out. he has bait, but no traps. The trap in the lower attic entrance has disappeared. This guy would not go into the attic because of insulation. And he also told me to tear down my metal tool shed in the back yard if that's where more rets are hiding. (WHAT?) In the contract it states a tech will come out every ten to fourteen days until rats are gone. REALLY? I have not seen anyone sense the first two, and we are now in the end of July. For this I paid $175.00. I have more complaints, but not enough time . read more

This company booked a termite estimate for my home and gave me a 2 hour window, As the window expired, I called them to see where they were and I was told the inspector was out for the remainder of the week. No one called or texted me with this info as I wasted hours waiting for them. They said they texted but that was a lie. If your smart you wont call this company. This company sends letter to homeowners stating there has been a change of ownership and the termite warranty they provide will not be valid unless they are contacted. I have coverage through a different company; that company told me they get complaints all the time from their customers about this practice. When I called the company to complain, they said the inspector must have typed in the wrong address. If that were true, the name on the letter would have been incorrect. This practice is completely unethical. I will not do business with them and recommend you don't either. read more

I had my annual termite inspection performed recently by Rhett and he was fantastic! Not only did he do a thorough inspection but as luck would have it, while I was out of town a little lizard had somehow gotten into my house (I think through a gap in the French doors upstairs on the balcony) and was stuck in the guest bath tub. Rhett was amazing at how he handled the situation as we discovered the lizard together during the inspection. I was a bit horrified and he was beyond calm.
