The decor & ambience was sexy & spacious. The service was great at the bar. We ordered a couple 5x7 pizzas, which were thick & filling. One is perfect for one person. The fungi pizza was delicious & no complaints. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the build your own pizza comes with a tiny smidge of cheese. Kinda shocking how little cheese, honestly, but still tasted great. All in all, the pizza, beer, service, & atmosphere were great!

I prefer the Swannanoa location, but this is a nice space. There's pizza on site, and indoor as well as outdoor seating.

Good beer, cool design indoors and out. The beer might have been a little pricey but, hey, they have parking so it evens out!

They do offer a great selection with well crafted beers, easy to drink without getting too complex. They offer a good number of IPAs for hoops lovers. The service was OK. I think our bar tender was having a bad day or does not like yo chat with customers at the bar and provide recommendations. The ambiance wasn't my favorite, mostly because there were no fans anywhere and it was really hot. However the best thing about this brewery was the little surprise at the back! The Tikki Bar meets Speakeasy!!! Tikky Easy... now that was fun and merits its own review!! But wanted to mentioned it! But beer wise pretty good!

Sadly, they weren't busy at all, but we really liked the "funky" vibe and the large covered outdoor seating area they offered. We ordered drinks and food at the bar and then grabbed a high top outside. Since I like cucumber water, I ordered the Coolcumber - a golden ale brewed with cucumber, juniper, & basil. It was delicious and refreshing. For dinner, we ordered the Kale Caesar Salad and Mortadella Pizza (formerly the Bologna Pizza...or vice versa). Both the salad and pizza were generously portioned and perfect for two of us to share. Let's start with the salad. O.M.G. It is one of the best kale salads -- if not THE best kale salad -- I've ever had. They took care to massage the leaves with the dressing to make them very tender, then it was topped with a mound of shredded Parmesan cheese. So incredibly tasty. If you've ever turned your nose up at kale, this will change your mind. Next up was the Mortadella/Bologna pizza. It was wood-fired to char the crust and then covered in sauce, mozzarella, mortadella, stracciatella, and pistachio pesto. Having recently been to Italy, these were all ingredients I was still craving. It was delicious. The food was crave-worthy. The drink menu is extensive. The staff was all really friendly and welcoming. And the atmosphere was awesomely funky. I'd definitely return.

We tried 4 beers - the surf wax IPA, I surfed the sky, prophetmaker, and the festbier. Surf wax was our favorite! We also ordered a smash burger and both enjoyed it. Right away the place had a cool vibe, not just a regular brewery where you go in and drink a beer. It had a lot of interesting decor and you could tell they really lean into their own weird, artsy style. The decor was colorful and fun, with murals and random quirky details all around. It kind of had this dark but playful look to it, which somehow worked really good. The beer garden area also gave it a laid back feel, and the whole place had way more character then a normal taproom. The beer menu was creative too. There were plenty of beer choices and I got the Sinister Gaze of the Unapologetic Imperial Stout. With a cool name like that it fit my mood from the heat. With cocoa nibs, sea salt, vanilla bean, and that rich stout flavor, it sounded bold and kind of dramatic, which fits the place perfect.
