    Good pizza

I love this bar. It's one of my favorites in Asheville. The beers are incredible! My favorite part of this bar is the atmosphere. Huge outdoor section where we always sit. Inside bar is a bit smaller but very nice. Service is just OK. I finally got to try the pizza today and it was pretty good. We just got a pepperoni mushroom pie and enjoyed it. Will definitely be returning here on future trips to Asheville.

Really friendly staff initially and the beer was good and mostly the food was great. But, when we ordered our beers after a few free samples, we told the bartender that we wanted to order food and would be back in a minute. Then we realized that she just disappeared and there was no one running the place. Some other couples came and sat down at the bar and one of the guys from the brewery came up to get himself a drink and ignored them and they finally left after he disappeared again. After 20 minutes of waiting for someone to come back to man the place so we could order food, we finally wandered off back to the brewery area to see if we could find someone. Finally found the guy that ignored everyone and he said the bartender had asked him to keep an eye on the front but he just didn't do it. We ordered food from him and several other people jumped in to get merch and drinks etc. Food came quickly afterward. House salad was fantastic with the citrus vinaigrette. Philly was a little too salty but decent. Fries were perfect. Remember we had told the bartender originally that we were going to order food right away, so we were perplexed that she just abandoned the place. Overall, a good experience soured (i did order a sour beer!) by lack of staff attentiveness.

This place is loud and busy, but I can understand why. The pizza and drinks were delish. This is a very family friendly place so if you aren't looking for a lot of noise from children running around, steer clear. Otherwise, pizza and vodka on the patio here are a great idea.

I was in Asheville celebrating a wedding recently and we all decided to do a bar brawl. Is there a better place to do that other than Asheville? This was our 3rd or 4th stop and we were greeted by friendly staff. The place was so chill and laid back. I had the Lemon Spacedog. It was so light, crisp, and super refreshing. A lot of beer in Asheville tends to lean towards the hopper side and I was delighted to find something lighter. Very cool spot to visit and a huge outdoor area

I loved this place so much I bought a t shirt! Perfect brewery experience. Stellar service. Incredible beers. Amazing indoor and outdoor spaces. The coolest vibes in Asheville. I had a couple of their Perfect Hazeys. Well, three to be exact. It was truly perfect. The pizzas looked so good, but we needed to walk around a little bit before we ate. Will for sure be back here on our next trip to Asheville.

No wait, super friendly staff, plenty of seating. The pizza was soo good definitely 9/10. There were big screens showing the sports and a great breeze. Also dog friendly!

This place has the VIBE I love. The bartenders, beer names and just the feel of the place makes me feel young and current. Loved all the beers we got in our flight that he recommended and tried a variety of styles to get the whole feel. Their merchandise and stickers are super creative and work off of tv shows that I watch on a constant basis. The Wet Floor Banana Sign and the Close but still Awesome sign stood out to me and love how quirky it was. On St Patricks Day, this was only one of a few that played Irish music so that was nice as well.

We came here for dinner and I was splendidly impressed with how delicious everything was. We got pizza, cheesy bread, cheese curds, and a salad. It was all delicious and truly spectacular. The menu was big for what I thought would be 'bar food'. The interior is quite fun and quirky. The pizza can fairly fast, and was nice and hot. Would come again!

Asheville Brewing Company has become one of me and my husband's go to spot for a casual dinner or a drink. It's location is great as it's just on the outskirts of downtown and about a 12 minute walk from our house. We try to walk here as often as possible but even when we drive, we can usually find a spot to park nearby. The indoor area has the bar (with both lots of beers and a full bar for cocktails) with probably 10 bar seats and there are two attached dining rooms with a lot of 4 seat tables. We almost always sit outside though because it is just a really fun atmosphere with dogs and a giant tv (usually playing sports) and the seating is picnic tables. My go to food order here is their nachos. Their new menu item Nacho Diego has become my favorite. They're vegetarian nachos but I always sub out the corn tortillas and instead order their house-made, fresh fried flour tortillas. The chips are so crunchy and tasty. I'm not the biggest fan of their pizza, except the Sheer Delight, which lives up to its name. On weekends, you'll definitely end up waiting for a table, but it usually is a short wait. Also, know that they don't take reservations and so it's hard for them to accomodate big parties. We love this place!

I'm glad to see this sign, even though I didn't need it.

Right away the place had a cool vibe, not just a regular brewery where you go in and drink a beer. It had a lot of interesting decor and you could tell they really lean into their own weird, artsy style. The decor was colorful and fun, with murals and random quirky details all around. It kind of had this dark but playful look to it, which somehow worked really good. The beer garden area also gave it a laid back feel, and the whole place had way more character then a normal taproom. The beer menu was creative too. There were plenty of beer choices and I got the Sinister Gaze of the Unapologetic Imperial Stout. With a cool name like that it fit my mood from the heat. With cocoa nibs, sea salt, vanilla bean, and that rich stout flavor, it sounded bold and kind of dramatic, which fits the place perfect.

Lot's of eclectic spice and vegetable beers, but the pairings are generally interesting and well done. They also have a few more traditional beer styles, if that's what you're in the mood for. The space is also very nicely done. Plenty of room at the bar. A somewhat dark and muted color tone that created the feel of a slightly rustic and understated space. I liked it. In terms of food, I ordered a mediterranean bowl and was pretty happy with it. Reasonably well presented. Some evidence of investing effort in creating an individualized concept. The ingredients were also very fresh. The toppings also fell within a reasonable balance. It wasn't overwhelming. It wasn't the best salad of this type that I've had, but it made for something crisp and fresh to pair with a pint. All that having been said, my suggestion would be to go for the beer. If you want to order food alongside your beer, that's secondary.

Almost every beer on the menu is a split batch fermented with two different yeast strains to showcase the resulting differences. It's a great concept, even if you're not into brewing. In terms of the food, it seems like the really leaned into providing something good, well-balanced, and sometimes takes advantage of the yeast and beer being cultivated on site. I had a house salad and some dilly beans for lunch. The house salad was fresh and extremely well balanced. I'm glad they had something vegetable centric available. The dilly beans were good, but quite a bit for a single human. They're probably the type of thing you would want to split among friends. I actually showed up for an event in the evening where they served pizza using dough fermented with one of their yeast strains. That was truly excellent.
