Great service, cold beer and I heard the patron is good. 30 years old and up. Bring some virtual money for the online jukebox.

A true new age Woodstock of our time. You meet so many people from all over the country & overseas…read moreto come to celebrate EDC.We were the FIRST EDC CHICAGO group to camp here. The camping experience was awesome. *The mobile showers * Garnier Fructis station ( hair done, free by professional stylist ) * Food Truck (tacos & burgers) * Shuttle bus that ran to walmart 3xs a day) * Fireworks every night @ 10pm * amusement park rides * Craft tent ( made a rave stick & flower head band) * charge tent ( keep cell phones & laptops charged) * water stations to refill bottles and packs & Best of all, there was a warm tent that stayed open 24hrs a day. When the weather got a bit chilly, I ran for shelter to the warm tent. A community grill was on deck & every morning we could cook scrambled eggs, fry sausage & make tea & in the afternoons we would grill burgers & host a bbq before heading to the concert grounds. If someone was too intoxicated to walk back to their tent , EDC volunteers would happily escort us back to our tent via golf cart. There were various music stages to see our favorite EDM artists. The music was epic and I remember being told by a Joilet Police Officer that there were 9,000 911 calls from the Joilet residents from Thursday night to Monday morning of the event. The residents could hear the music from a 20 mile distance & thought that was some type of bombing occurring at the camp site! The scenery was full of fun & laughter. I remember seeing some tent neighbors bring a life size "Connect Four" game to the site. The tent lanes/rows had creative street names such as "Creativity Lane" or FoFo St". I made so many friends here and will be back to EDC Chicago in the years to come!

EDC Road to Vegas!…read more(http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/electric-daisy-carnival-chicago-joliet?select=CwZSgSBMXVnpjwcyKmxmlw#CS5NLUN3SAavuMjeJ1-l6w) Parking: easy breezy. No traffic in and not much on the way out. Security check points (3): not as tough as I told it would be. One time the security girl asked if I had anything in my pockets I said no and she just let me walk by.... I also had on rugged boots that could of a fit a million things in them and nobody checked. Oh and I also had opened chapstick and their website clearly states NO open chapsticks, but I was a bad ass and got it in, haha. I've never been to the Speedway before so I was in for a surprise. As soon as we entered the pit was filled with laser shows (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/electric-daisy-carnival-chicago-joliet?select=CwZSgSBMXVnpjwcyKmxmlw#t4DFOnHGs2X4w0FS0mnxSA), carnival rides, and pretty daisy. We can't control the weather and it was less than ideal esp. Friday night where temps drop to low 40s, but the DJs rocked EDC Chicago! I danced all night, every night, for three nights straight! It's a pretty close call for which night was my favorite: Saturday or Sunday. Saturday night Armin was amazinggggggggggg! His set is so good that I listen to it while working out! As for Sunday it might of been muddy and rainy, but the rain brings all the crazies out! Definitely a memorable one! Plenty of port-o-potties and food stations, also if it was raining you can buy a poncho at the general store and they opened up the garages. Endless supply of free water at the water stations and plenty of beer sellers. Definitely a fun experience and from experienced EDC Las Vegas peeps EDC Chicago is a big tease and I'm quite alright with that because it is the "road to Vegas" and it's definitely building my anticipation! See you in a few weeks EDC Vegas!

I was at Reve this Friday, and honestly I'm giving it the rating I am because of it's potential…read more Reve is a great idea, but unfortunately they don't seem to be marketing it well with the right crowd. This Friday the club was completely empty, even after 11p. The location for the club is great because it's inside Hollywood Casino Joliet, the drinks are well made, and well priced, and the club is very swanky and comfortable. The problem is that nobody knows it's there. Hollywood Casion is pretty much in the middle of nowhere so unless you like to gamble your not likely to have seen the advertisements for Reve. Furthermore, Hollywood Casino Joliet tends to attract a much older crowd than the usual clubbing crowd. I think Hollywood Casino would have been better off putting the club in smaller, but much more urban Aurora location, but alas they did not. I'd really like to see Reve succeed so I hope that Hollywood Casino does a better job marketing it in the future, but It's not worth the 25 mile trip out there yet. Especially since there are several other casinos much closer to home.

Killer sound system and lighting is awesome they have cabanas you can rent for VIP. The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars is because there wasn't a lot of people there. I spoke to the manager he was a great guy and told me that they're booking some real popular DJ's so it should pick up. this place is very clean and classy inside. We will most definitely return with our friends more people should give this place a chance. Go there and see how absolutely awesome it is inside youll love it. it's kind of like a hidden gem you gotta walk past all the old people playing slots at the casino and then you walk into this kick ass club. II honestly think people don't know it's there because if they did it would be packed.

Ever since I learned that there was a speakeasy in Lockport i've always wanted to check it out but…read moreI didn't want to go there by myself so I finally convinced my wife to visit the Speakeasy with me. We figured it would have been the perfect way to top off our evening. For first-timers it might be hard trying to find the speakeasy since at first I thought you had to access it from the Busy Street and walk up three flights of stairs. Actually you just walk inside of the Embers building, find the elevator that's kind of hidden and take it to the Third floor. I thought that the little trip up felt exclusive already. Once you're at the third floor you are treated to a beautiful array of scenery. Exit to your left and you were treated to the bar and some great tables with a cozy, intimate setting. I'm not sure if it was open seating since there was a little podium right off the elevator so we just sat ourselves. Some speakeasies require a certain dress code to keep up with the times. This one thankfully was casual though many people dressed business casual. We actually loved how the staff dressed as well. I have to try their Japanese sex drink and I absolutely loved every ship that I took. The drinks are fairly price. They did have a food menu but it was mainly snacks and small plates that were a bit overpriced. If we're having a large Gathering they have a big private room next door. This place does have a lot of great events going on as well with their upcoming Valentine's Day event that looks really interesting. It does get pretty busy as well after 7:00 p.m. from our experience. Overall, I was excited and enjoyed our visit coming to the 933 speakeasy!

It just so happens that I visited the night of a holiday bar crawl in lockport so the inside wasn't set up how it normally would be. For being packed, we were still able to grab a cocktail table to enjoy our drinks at. The bar was decked out in holiday decor to get everyone in christmas spirits. My group got two rounds of drinks which included the Toasted Pecan Old Fashioned, Figgy Smalls, Christmas in a Cup, Happiness is a Warm Puppy, Milk & Cookies, and Maple Bacon Old Fashioned. My favorites by far were the Toasted Pecan Old Fashioned and Figgy Smalls. My group also loved the Milk & Cookies. The bartenders hustled to get drinks out and still took time to smoke the old fashioneds to perfection. I'd love to come back on a normal night and re-enjoy this lockport hotspot.
