Gonna start my review by saying if you are a woman be careful going here specially with a group of only girls. There are creepy men who claim they "work here" who come and shove the camera in your face while you are dancing, eating , etc and try to start a conversation with you. So the ambiance is not the best. Felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. Food was not very appetizing, it arrived around 9 pm ( we were already waiting for over 3 hours). The portions are very small and the food is not very appetizing. They dont change your plate, so you are eating appetizers, entree and dessert all in the same plate. The waiters are rude specially if you ask for anything (extra water , more bread) I would rather go somewhere that has more pleasant and safe atmosphere specially for women. Our first time at Terrace Restaurant and we made our reservations with Jack the manager for a private event. We had our daughter's bridal shower on a Sunday. Jack is amazing and very knowledgeable, accommodating and very helpful. This past Sunday we had our bridal shower & person in charge was Maria. She was absolutely wonderful, very nice, helpful, knowledgeable, professional and efficient. Maria was a young lady but she was always very kind & made sure the staff was there to help her and the guest. We had about 72 people and everyone was very happy with the food and service. The professional photographer took pictures of the food etc. as soon I get them I'll share it. The location is perfect they have indoor and outdoor terrace for hookah and tv screens and I guess weekend entertainment and musics. Beautiful and open space. This place went downhill fast! The service is now super slow and horrible!!!!! They do not change plates and squeeze in tables close together. We never got our BBQ plate and when they finally brought it out after we told them, it was time to go home!!!!!! $20 corkage fee PLUS $10 EXTRA per person if you bring your own alcohol is INSANE. They charge you $60 otherwise if you do not want to pay the ridiculous fees to only get robbed by paying 3x of what the bottle costs at the liquor next door. We went here for dinner, and honestly, I don't know where to start. It was uncomfortably hot inside, the food was just okay, and I had to ask several times for bread. To make matters worse, I found a hair in my plate. The waiter never changed our plates, so I had to put the dirty ones on an empty table nearby and grab clean ones from there myself. On top of that, the bill already included the tip for four people, and they charged a $40 corkage fee for a bottle of vodka. Absolutely overpriced and disappointing experience. This restaurant was amazing for several reasons. First, we decided last minute (day before) to have a dinner birthday party. They were incredibly kind and helpful. Our party planner was attentive and patient and even made suggestions on how to make this dinner a memorable event. The DJ was so hype and the talented belly dancer mesmerized everyone in the restaurant. People in the restaurant including us were dancing and having a great time. The food was amazing and the presentation absolutely beautiful. Even though we were there for our party, you felt like you were a part of something bigger and very special. I did wait to write the review to make sure I am calm. Hosted a party of 100 people on a very important occasion for our family. Paid for everything they asked for in advance and even paid more to the servers to make sure we have no issue. It was 10:45 pm and our food was not served yet. I had many guests that wanted to go to close by fast food to eat and come back. The person running the kitchen ( not sure if he was the manager or the owner) could not care less about the issue. Came here on a Saturday night. It was so much fun. Great service, food and ambiance. They had a belly dancer around 10:30pm and music playing throughout the whole night. Food was okay, some dishes were good some bad Tabule salad was very dry, the rest salads weren't good. kebab plate extremely small... hookah was good but nobody was changing the charcoals and checking up on clients. I agree with a lot of the below three star reviewers, that this place is just too loud and the food is subpar. The seating arrangement for large parties is very inconvenient, because once you sit, you can't get out. Plates are not replaced between courses and you just have to keep eating in the same plate and they keep piling the dishes on top of each other. Toilets are extremely low flow. Good luck flushing them. I have not been to the Terrace in Encino. I imagine it's probably better than this one. read more

The items on their menu will give you a multitude of options so you will not be disappointed. The decor is equally as good as you are able to enjoy a great meal with friends or family. The place was busy but they had tons of servers to serve. It is a prefixed menu which was perfect. We got tons of drinks and hookah on the side. Super fun music and entertainment during dinner. My husband and I celebrated our 20th year anniversary here on a Friday night. We couldn't chat much because the music was loud, but that didn't ruin the experience. We appreciated the family multi-generational vibe. The food was fresh, flavorful, and plentiful. The DJ kept guests on the dance floor and was even joined by an entertaining live singer. The belly dancer had a great performance and was interactive with all of the guests, except us. This is a 4-star instead of 5-star review because we were disappointed by the clear difference in our engagement with the belly dancer, maybe because, unlike most of the other guests, we are not Mediterranean. Food was great. Ambience is very nice and service was good. They actually have a really solid nightlife scene too which blew me away. Here is why I am rating 2 stars; sound pressure level was measured 95-105 dB SPL C weighted from my seat for a duration of several hours which WILL cause hearing damage and is negligence. This measurement was taken from my seat throughout the evening which was about 1/3 back from the stage, away from the walls. If management is reading this review, please consider sound treatment and/or revisit your speaker setup and placement. Consider this free advice from an engineer. read more

I have been to the Terrace Encino locations multiple times for different events and was so happy to hear they opened a Burbank location. I visited the location with hopes to reserve tables for my event and met with Talin who was so helpful during the whole booking process. A few things differ from the Encino location. The first is that Burbank is brand new and absolutely stunning. The decor inside and out is beautiful and really gives it a more upscale vibe. Unlike Encino, the Burbank location does have a liquor license so it is bottle service. I think the layout is great. More of a open layout allowing people to move in easily and dance. There is hookah (including tangiers), but smoking is only allowed at the outside tables and bar. On the day of my event I was more than happy with the set up and service. I had around 60 guests and the staff were so attentive with drinks, food, and cake. When I got busy they were the ones to remind me that it might be a good time for cake. I could not have had more of a positive experience and would highly recommend Terrace Burbank for any event, big or small. read more

We had a birthday celebration here yesterdaty, and were very disappointed. First, when I called them to inquire about their rates for a birthday celebration, they did not answer the phone, but initiated a conversation through text messages. After they gave me the options of choosing between a set menu or ordering from the menu, I selected the option of ordering from the menu. However, when we arrived, they had already set the tables with their set menu food, and at that point I couldn't say anything because my guests had arrived, and it would be rude to tell them not to touch the food as it was set up in error, so we went with the set menu. Second, the waiters did not bother to change the plates during the entire course of the dinner. Even when they served the cake (which we had brought), they did not bother to take away the dirty plates. After I asked them to bring desert plates, they offered to take the cake to the kitchen to cut and brought tiny pieces of cake in cheap foam plates, and the waiter was putting them on top of our dirty plates. At that point we had to ask them to take away the dirty dishes. More than half of the cake was left behind in their kitchen, and they did not offer to pack it back to be taken home as they do in many other places. And on top of all, they charged excessive amount of gratuity for a small party of nine!!! And if you want to know about the food, the only good ones were the bread and beef kyabab. Everything else was either oversalted, or not tasty. I will never go back to this place again. read more

I love this place! This was my second time having an event at Terrace. I did a birthday party here and recently a baby shower. The food is amazing. All of my guests commented on how tasty it was. The service is also great. Working with Maria was such a pleasure. She made sure everything was exactly as I wanted. She checked in with me multiple times during the event to make sure everything was going as planned. I used their DJ and he was also very accommodating and made sure to play the songs I asked him to play. I can't say enough good things about Terrace! Went there on a Saturday with my family. I'll give them a five star. They just have to consider something about the sound system outside in the patio. A bit too loud or low quality in my opinion. But I support them and recommend them with 5 stars. Go there and enjoy time with your family and loved ones. Appetizers were great. Fresh baked bread is fire( 6 stars), so is the barbecue(6stars). We came here last night at around 8pm to celebrate our friends' birthdays. The food wasn't bad, but the restaurant is horribly understaffed. We almost never saw our waiter, and we had to chase the staff several times to remind them about a simple order and to ask them to turn on the heater above our table. The main dishes were served after 11pm. There were people smoking cigarettes nonstop in the middle of the restaurant..... the staff wasn't professional at all, never apologized for any of the above, though we made it very clear that we weren't happy. Bad experience overall and a huge waste of money, unfortunately. We all left with an aftertaste and won't be coming back. read more

Nice Mediterranean inspired spot in DTB! Their lounge on the top patio is so chic! Definitely a cute spot to get cute photos for the gram! Our server was very friendly and took good care of us! As we ordered, they brought out the food per person so each person basically gets one piece of each option which I think is good because there is a lot to get through. The options are endless. Their picked vegetables and the cheese plate is so good. It is definitely a must if you're dining in. The BBQ is Armenian inspired which was very tasty. The chicken was my personal favorite but all are safe choices. Their drink menu is also very large which is nice because it gives you a large variety to choose from.
