The DJ on the main floor, however, didn't seem to be mixing much and mostly replayed the same songs after about 30 minutes. The service was spectacular. We ordered three bottles, which came with a pitcher of juice and four hookahs. You could choose to add mint flavor to the hookah or leave it out, though it still had a slight hint of mint even without it. Everyone also ordered individual drinks, which were about $25 each, and the wine bottle was $85. Anything we needed was brought to us quickly. We didn't get the private belly dancers, I guess they didn't come to work. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely come back again for a special event.

HAHAHAHAHAH Waitress…read morethought I was an idiot! We ordered 1 hookah and 2 drinks. The machine showed $180. I am like that is kinda high. I asked her if that included gratuity. She said no, I asked again are you sure she says NO. I couldn't check the machine because before she handed to me she went all the way to the tip scree that said additional tip. I was like this SHADY af. I asked for a receipt and she said printer broken. I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP. So I grabbed the machine back and put my number in to get the receipt texted to me. Low and behold 22% tip and she charged us for water when I asked for tap water. I go back to her and show her the receipt and she is like oh I don't know what that is. I have never seen that before. Pleassseeeeee What a scam artist, she probably has done that to everyone there but everyone there is on a date and no one wants to be embarassed. Well IDGAF. She offered to give cash back and not tell her boss. Honestly he probably knows. Never going back. Ive been here 8 times. EVERYONE CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS!!!

I really wanted to give Hookah Time a higher rating because, ironically, the hookah itself is probably the best part of this place. The hookah is incredible, the flavor is excellent, and they clearly know what they're doing when it comes to the actual product. Unfortunately, almost everything surrounding the hookah leaves a lot to be desired. Service is consistently inattentive. Staff rarely seem to check on tables, and getting someone's attention for coals, drinks, or anything else can feel like you're inconveniencing them rather than being a paying customer. The drink selection is also surprisingly limited. The inside is small, cramped, and can get ridiculously hot. When you're sitting inside smoking hookah for an extended period, decent ventilation and air conditioning aren't exactly optional. Then there's the seating situation. There appears to be a group of regulars who essentially have unofficial ownership of certain tables. It doesn't seem to matter when you arrive or how long you've been waiting--somehow tables always seem to materialize for the same people. When you're running a business with already limited seating, customers shouldn't feel like they're competing with the owner's or staff's friends for a place to sit. The atmosphere can also feel extremely clique-oriented. A number of the regulars speak Armenian among themselves--which obviously isn't a problem--but if you're an outsider, particularly an American who isn't part of that circle, the reception can sometimes feel noticeably cold and unwelcoming. There's a difference between having a strong community of regulars and making everyone else feel like they've walked into someone else's private club. What makes all of this more surprising is that the owners seem to rarely be there. More hands-on ownership might solve a lot of these issues: managing tables fairly, holding staff to a higher service standard, improving the temperature and ventilation, and making sure every paying customer feels equally welcome. That's ultimately what makes Hookah Time so frustrating. They have the hardest part figured out--the hookah is legitimately excellent. But great hookah alone doesn't make a great lounge. If the service, seating politics, atmosphere, and overall hospitality matched the quality of the hookah, this place could easily be five stars. Right now, it feels like an excellent hookah experience trapped inside a poorly managed lounge.

There are creepy men who claim they "work here" who come and shove the camera in your face while you are dancing, eating , etc and try to start a conversation with you. So the ambiance is not the best. Felt very uncomfortable and unsafe. Food was not very appetizing, it arrived around 9 pm ( we were already waiting for over 3 hours). The portions are very small and the food is not very appetizing. They dont change your plate, so you are eating appetizers, entree and dessert all in the same plate. The waiters are rude specially if you ask for anything (extra water , more bread) I would rather go somewhere that has more pleasant and safe atmosphere specially for women. Side note: the restrooms are clogged. The creep taking videos is pictured.

I had the pleasure of speaking with the manager, Polo, who is amazing. He is kind and genuinely concerned that his customers are happy with the food and service. Polo made a great suggestion to try the knafeh dessert, which nearly melted in my mouth. It was yummy and will definitely be ordered by me, again. Polo goes above and beyond and brightened my day with a precious sketch and other treats. Just getting out of the hospital and reeling in pain, he brightened my evening by including sweet and thoughtful surprises with my order. It was the kindest thing I have experienced in a long time. The Brandy is a premiere restaurant offering great selections on the menu, as well as live music, and hookah. It's my new favorite and I plan to try as many menus items as possible. This establishment is definitely not 'pedestrian' and I would highly recommend it to any and everyone. I can hardly wait to come in for an enjoyable evening and delectable edibles. I have already suggested the restaurant to many people. It would make a great choice for a date night or for friends and/or family times. I would have no hesitation in going alone, as I know I would have a good time while consuming food that is upper tier. Thanks Polo and Ani! I will see you, soon!
