Food - seemed to be good quality, but flavors weren't the most balanced, and there was a possibility that the food made one member of the party sick. Tried the Chicken Masala - the chicken was well cooked but the flavor was one note. The dipping sauce wasn't quite right for it either. The truffle fries were overdone and unseasoned, and didn't taste like truffle. Beef Stroganoff - tasty! But the beef pieces were a bit small and the fries also overdone and hard to eat with it. The prices were also extremely high-- about $40+ for all entrees, and don't feel like it was worth the value. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience could have been nice but there was also a private party in half the restaurant so it's hard to get a full sense.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service wasn't great, they barely checked in with us and we had to flag them down for the check at the end, it was pretty slow and they also forgot stuff. The parking situation is also rough-- $15 valet or look for street parking.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is such an amazing and beautiful restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everything I have tried here has been excellent. However, be sure to mention any allergies, as not all ingredients are listed on the menu. There is plenty of parking and a wide variety of food and drink options. They offer a full bar and a delicious dessert menu. Service is excellent.

This place isn't cheap. [[HIGHLIGHT]]But if you want your Food, presentation, quality drinks, ambience and top notch service all in one, it's worth your dollars.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is so cozy![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Zac, the bar attendant and server and everyone else were is so nice! Cudo's to this Russian speaking Armenian owner who hired a professional to make cocktails and interact with customers. It's a hidden gem place in the middle of town for some reason not too many know about. Thank you ViaSelfie. We'll be back

Our server was great and attentive. The food was okay. They don't have their shawarma wraps for dinner which is a bummer also i got their Greek chicken skewer. I would say it's definitely missing side of maybe some rice or something becuase all you get is chicken, veggie and little bit of yogurt. Their tuna tacos for appetizer was for sure fresh and flavorful and the taco crisp was not on the oily side. I did really enjoy the watermelon margarita which was just the right amount of alcohol.

After a full day at the Universal Studios, we were looking for some where close by with good food for dinner. Read their reviews, one said "hidden gem" and another said "they kept returning to the restaurant", so that's convincing enough for me to give it a try. The reviews were right on! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant decor is modern, clean and well kept.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The server was nice and welcoming. We ordered the Branzino, the Burger, Cesar salad and chocolate lava for dessert. When the food came, we were like "wow"! The portions were "American size" :) and the taste of each dish was delicious! The Branzino was very fresh and grilled perfectly. Definitely one of the best Branzino I have had. The burger was juicy, an excellent burger! The salad was fresh and the chocolate lava was a good end to our dinner. We finished everything. We were happy we gave this restaurant a try and think this restaurant deserves more attention.

What a great find!! This restaurant has been one of my girlfriend's local favorites so she took me there today and what a pleasant surprise! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The entrance is kind of hidden so you wouldn't easily be able to see it from the street.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] In terms of parking, they offer valet but you could also park on the street when it's not too busy or at Trader Joe's right next door like I did. Because of Mother's Day today, the parking situation was a bit intense but I don't believe it would be the same on a regular basis. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is modern, clean/sophisticated looking yet casual enough to not have to come for special occasions only.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Today (I believe for the holiday), there was live music which was so enjoyable while we were taking our time having late lunch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the Truffle Mushroom Pasta without parmesan and it was delicious. My girlfriend loved the Shrimp salad (came with quinoa and pomegranate). Great portion sizes as well. Attentive, warm and friendly staff. We will come back for sure!

My friend told me about the place and I was there next day trying... It was early lunch time and it was pretty empty... Ben was great, told us about the dishes and we orders several items to share for a group of 4. Tuna tacos were fresh, crunchy w the tiny kick and delusions! Coconut shrimp were perfectly fried and the sauce was light w the touch of sweetness! Corn Ribs! OMG! I am writing and drooling thinking about them.... Can eat only them!!! Burrata salad w pear and prosciutto was excellent! We also shared a pepperoni pizza, beef, stroganoff and mushroom truffle pasta! Are you kidding me!!!! Everything was insane!!!! I was back 4 days later and had more of what I had the first time and I can't wait to bring more of my friends to try it all! They have life music on weekend and place is packed! Please visit and enjoy!!!

Looking forward to coming here again to try different items on their unique menu. The salad was delicious and the branzino was delicious as well. The plating was lovely as well. We added chicken to the salad for more protein and the chicken breast was quite tender and delicious! They ran out of the honey cake or I would have tried that but the panna cotta was a good replacement. Great friendly service, and it felt nice and spacious with a good amount of parking as well. Rather bright setting with large windows. Didn't expect this place to be such a hit!

First try and it was super great! Beautiful and cozy place in Burbank, great for special nights to listen great live music and have super delicious food. The portion of the foods are really good and price wise it ok because of the food quality is perfect. I would recommend to keep some space for the delicious dessert which is the main key of good restaurants and specially for this place. I like my drink but I would suggest the owner to work on the cocktails for more options! Overall very happy with this place and recommend to give a chance for special night and try it, you will love it. Thanks for great food and service, will be back soon!

We found this place last minute to watch the final FIFA World Cup game when we were turned around…read morefrom another spot. Thank god we got turned away because this place is a hidden gem. They do have parking behind the building which seems to fill pretty quickly if they're busy, but it's easy to find parking around the neighborhood. I am not usually in the tavern scene so I was surprised that we had to order and pay at the bar, but it wasn't a big issue. My friend and I split the kale caesar salad and the macaroni and cheese. For the table, I ordered the waffle fries after being informed by the kind waitress that that was the better choice over the pretzel (which she also said was amazing). Since the place was filling up for the final, the kitchen was a bit slow, but we barely noticed with how attentive the staff were in getting us drinks and refills. When it came to food, we were pleasantly surprised with this place and is honestly the reason I'm writing this review. The first things we got were the Beef Tallow Waffle Fries, Caesar Salad, and mac and cheese. Obviously the fries were much better, however the salad was also divine but just swimming in dressing. Back to the fries, we all were mindblown with how tavern fries could be this good and had so many flavors. Even the skinny queens in our group kept snacking on them which tells you how good these were. Mac and cheese came and it was standard and creamy but not necessarily something I'd return for. The surprising thing on top of the fries that majority of us loved was the Vegan Tomato Scampi with shrimp. It was fire and had me questioning if it was even Vegan. Would definitely return here if I find my way back to SoCal from the Bay. Great unassuming place with great food and vibes. Their bathroom as well is super clean and nice! Love this place!

With the seemingly ever-changing landscape along Brand Blvd. in downtown Glendale, this establishment has been around since 2012 (which I believe was the first and only time I came here). Primarily known for its inventive craft cocktails and a killer whiskey selection, it was a nice place to sneak away into before or after your main event... or, maybe this could be the place to spend an entire evening. After a few minutes of reviewing the menu, we each placed our order at the bar, our drinks were delivered quickly while the food took mere minutes to arrive at the table. We had to approach the bar each time we ordered something, but any empty glasses and plates were collected at the table. Once we closed out our tabs, we were thanked for coming as we headed out into the night. Everything was chill and easy - thank you! PARKING (Varied; FREE this instance): I parked in the nearby original Glendale Galleria parking structure and simply walked over first to The Americana then to this place. Otherwise, there was limited parking along the main drag of Brand Blvd. and other surrounding side streets, the nearby Glendale Galleria II parking structure, The Americana parking structure that offered validation, numerous public transportation options, and rideshares - 'nuff said! ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A dark cavernous speakeasy-like place with open space, various tables and couches strewn about, and a large long somewhat decorative bar with an impressive whiskey selection displayed behind it. I appreciated the exposed brick walls which gave it that old-time feel with a few framed pictures hung on them. Minimal natural lighting came through the front doors and windows while minimal electric ceiling lights filled in rest. There was at least one projection TV where we watched the Dodgers game while music played in the background. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=24&select=SomLKsk1KVcemeOCHGOZfg ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL It was nice to slip into The Famous Bar for the first time in over a decade, and if I found myself spending time in downtown Glendale again, I'd consider another visit. Sadly, I try to avoid the highly congested area as much as possible. I loved the fact that they had a daily happy hour (4pm-7pm) and late-night SU-TH happy hours (10:30pm-close), so there was always a deal to be found. The drinks were the main reason you came, while the food was just an add-on. The prices were elevated, but you had a good menu selection of libations (nice local craft beer list) to choose from. The customer service was easy, friendly, and straightforward. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $42.00 BEFORE any discounts/tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice...
