Wanted to try out a new place in Burbank, on Saturday early evening. Initially we parked on the street , seems to have plenty of parking around on a weekend. But when we walked in we saw the parking lot, so we moved the car. (Rare for a restaurant to have a parking lot. About 12 parking spots ) The drinks were tasty. I got the lemon drink, wife got the sweet white drink. .(forget the names) Appetizer. Mexican corn ribs. Funny name. Was super tasty. Was going to order the lamb kafta , but a few minutes later the waiter reported it's unavailable tonight. Instead I went with the dolma . I have had grape leaves in the past , my mom would make them. These were amazing. Packed with loads of flavor. No regrets ! My wife ordered the lamb chops, excellent. Service was great. Ambience was good, nice enough for a nice date night. Found this place in an effort to avoid the parking nightmare in downtown Burbank. It should be more packed in this place. It has a great vibe. I didn't take pics or walk around the whole restaurant because I was on a date, but will be returning for more. I had a short rib, beet, cabbage soup of sort. My first bite was a bit more beety tasting than I was expected, but then added the dollop of sour cream provided, and it was like magic. It was a unique combination of flavors. Perfect for a dreary night. Filling and warming, and delicious . The presentation was beautiful as well. My date ordered a steak that also came with vegetables. He enjoyed, and it was cooked perfectly Our waitress was great. She had a good sense of what level of attention each table needed as I watched her. My only regret last night was not ordering some pistachio cheesecake that a table next to us ordered when seemingly just coming in for a quick dessert. This is a great place for a family dinner or a date, or something a little bit more upscale. Love that they had a parking lot, as well as there was plenty of street parking. We ate here for Valentine's Day and enjoyed our experience. I got the octopus, which comes with fingerling potatoes and an avocado chimichurri sauce. I felt like the avocado didn't go that well with the octopus but the octopus itself was perfect and the potatoes were crisp and seasoned well. However, it was definitely on the oily/heavy side and I felt a little sick after from the grease. My boyfriend got the sea bass and it was cooked perfectly, flaky and moist with a nice sear. I loved the roasted carrots and the harissa sauce! I actually wish they served the harissa sauce with the octopus because the octopus, chimichurri, and harissa went very well together. The chocolate lava cake was incredibleee, you can tell the chocolate they use is high quality. Super gooey on the inside and a nice light cake on the outside. Next time I'll ask them to put the gelato on the side because the cake was so fresh it melted too quickly. The servers are quick and attentive, super nice. For parking, there's street parking or $15 valet. Very relaxing, clean ambience inside the restaurant as well. read more

Food - seemed to be good quality, but flavors weren't the most balanced, and there was a possibility that the food made one member of the party sick. Tried the Chicken Masala - the chicken was well cooked but the flavor was one note. The dipping sauce wasn't quite right for it either. The truffle fries were overdone and unseasoned, and didn't taste like truffle. Beef Stroganoff - tasty! But the beef pieces were a bit small and the fries also overdone and hard to eat with it. The prices were also extremely high-- about $40+ for all entrees, and don't feel like it was worth the value. The ambience could have been nice but there was also a private party in half the restaurant so it's hard to get a full sense. The service wasn't great, they barely checked in with us and we had to flag them down for the check at the end, it was pretty slow and they also forgot stuff. The parking situation is also rough-- $15 valet or look for street parking. read more

Our server was great and attentive. The food was okay. They don't have their shawarma wraps for dinner which is a bummer also i got their Greek chicken skewer. I would say it's definitely missing side of maybe some rice or something becuase all you get is chicken, veggie and little bit of yogurt. Their tuna tacos for appetizer was for sure fresh and flavorful and the taco crisp was not on the oily side. This place has somehow remained hidden from me since 2019! It has such a varied menu. First off, there's a nice cocktail menu. My date got the poke, which looked amazing and was! I got the borscht, and so yummy! Very nice wait staff, as well. I think because it's a somewhat industrial street, one doesn't notice it. Definitely worth the trip. After a full day at the Universal Studios, we were looking for some where close by with good food for dinner. Read their reviews, one said "hidden gem" and another said "they kept returning to the restaurant", so that's convincing enough for me to give it a try. The reviews were right on! The restaurant decor is modern, clean and well kept. The server was nice and welcoming. We ordered the Branzino, the Burger, Cesar salad and chocolate lava for dessert. When the food came, we were like "wow"! The portions were "American size" :) and the taste of each dish was delicious! The Branzino was very fresh and grilled perfectly. Definitely one of the best Branzino I have had. The burger was juicy, an excellent burger! The salad was fresh and the chocolate lava was a good end to our dinner. We finished everything. We've been to ViaSelfie many times for different occasions and have always had a great experience. The food is amazing and the service is great. For apps you have to try the Corn Ribs, Ahi Tuna Tacos, and Tempura Broccoli, though it's not always available or on the menu, doesn't hurt to ask. Their pizzas are amazing so take your pick. My favorite entrees are the Chicken Shawarma, Branzino, and Truffle Mushroom Pasta. If you can try to reserve the more private area rather than the main room, the ambience in my opinion is better. read more

Nice place with nice food and good service. Why four stars? Some of the dishes were okay and not great. My pasta dish with mushrooms and shrimp was fantastic, and my appetizer of "corn rib". But I tried some of my friend's and they were just okay - lamb chops and lasagna - for instance. Other fusion dishes were also just okay: their take on beef stroganoff was good but where's the pasta? Interior was nicely appointed with a live singer during Mother's Day brunch but the windows overlooked the parking lot. Its in a busy area but would be nicer to have lunch without looking at valet guys walking by. They need to add some plants or other to improve the ambiance. Lastly, it was a bit pricey. read more

What a great find!! This restaurant has been one of my girlfriend's local favorites so she took me there today and what a pleasant surprise! The entrance is kind of hidden so you wouldn't easily be able to see it from the street. In terms of parking, they offer valet but you could also park on the street when it's not too busy or at Trader Joe's right next door like I did. Because of Mother's Day today, the parking situation was a bit intense but I don't believe it would be the same on a regular basis. The restaurant is modern, clean/sophisticated looking yet casual enough to not have to come for special occasions only. Today (I believe for the holiday), there was live music which was so enjoyable while we were taking our time having late lunch. I ordered the Truffle Mushroom Pasta without parmesan and it was delicious. My girlfriend loved the Shrimp salad (came with quinoa and pomegranate). Great portion sizes as well. Ben was great, told us about the dishes and we orders several items to share for a group of 4. Tuna tacos were fresh, crunchy w the tiny kick and delusions! Coconut shrimp were perfectly fried and the sauce was light w the touch of sweetness! Corn Ribs! OMG! I am writing and drooling thinking about them.... Can eat only them!!! We added chicken to the salad for more protein and the chicken breast was quite tender and delicious! The food combinations were great and full of complimentary flavors, the service was good, attentive but not overly so, and the setting was perfect for a Valentine's Day dinner. There were romantic oldies playing in the background and the restaurant was decorated for the occasion. This review is overdue. I have dined here casually many times. Yesterday I helped my friend host her birthday here. I reached out to the owner a few weeks prior to get everything organized because we had 30 guests. The owner took my many calls and answered all my messages promptly. She was very accommodating with all of our requests. On the day of the dinner they blew it out of the water!! Phenomenal service!! They would constantly make eye contact with me and would check in to make sure we had everything we needed. The food came out at the right time. The waiter even asked us to let him know to cue the birthday song on time. What?? Trust me when I say this sort of service is rare. Not to mention how delicious their food is. Amazing place! Loved it. Beautiful restaurant design. Very friendly, polite and caring service/waiter, ambiance was modern, somewhat hipster, but young family chic. Many customers were mid week after work friends small gathering drink/dinner groups with a couple of big family birthday dinners. Food was great! We had corn rib, and for a corn lover like me, this was out of this world good. Regular fries were very good, thick stripes but not fatty. And we had a pear and cheese pizza for dinner for 3 women that was very good amount of food. The pizza dough was thin but sturdy enough to be picked up and eaten by hand without falling apart. You could eat to the end without leaving out the edge. Not to much sauce to give out liquid, and not too dry or burned underneath. Basically I have never said a pizza was perfect but this actually was! Good size to feed 3. For drinks we had mango margarita on the rocks and a mojito. Both were very good and recommended. Prices were reasonable, though they had a few special dishes with above $40 that I will try and review to see if they are worth it. Parking is convenient but limited and seatings too. This was Wednesday night and I had to park in the shopping mall parking a block down. I bet weekends will be very crowded and a line to get in. Also, a couple more pizza options will be good. I pulled up not sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised by this modern structure with a small lot and street parking available, which is always a bonus. And, interior was very modern and inviting with the cheery yellow centerpieces. After perusing the menu, we settled on their version of a Moscow mule made with blackberries, the borscht (which the split for us in the kitchen), the truffle pasta, the charred octopus, and fries. We then followed that with both the honey cake and the chocolate lava cake. Portions were filling and everything was delicious. Borscht: Ukrainian style and served hot, and so good. The owners are so welcoming, professional, and are there at all times to ensure everyone is happy with their service & food. Staff were so kind and attentive. Our host had brought their own jazz musician. I've been there for regular dining and now for a private event. We had so much good food that we devoured before i can take photos. Their BBQ plate with Chimichurri sauce was perfectly cooked. My favorite was the pork. I've been here many times and will keep coming back. Ample parking but Valet was $15 to literally walk to where your car was parked right outside the front entrance. We could have parked the car ourselves for a Monday night. What an amazing restaurant! Where do I even begin... we had a party of 20 people including children. The owners were so accommodating to make sure every member of the party was happy. I can't say not one negative thing about the food, drinks, or service at ViaSelfie! I don't live in LA, but if I did I would frequent this spot at least once a month! The drinks - crafted so well. Every single one was delicious but my favorite was the lavender lover and pomegranate Negroni. The food - the charred octopus was delicious. Perfect texture and taste. The coconut shrimp was good but not my favorite item. The dessert - all I have to say is - WOW. I dream about that lava cake. I would go back for that alone. I love that this place is open late - it's a perfect spot to hit after arriving at Burbank airport. The food is really good - we had a delicious salad and the chicken marsala. The chicken marsala had a more Indian flavor to it - we mistakenly thought we were ordering the Italian chicken marsala but I have to say this was really delicious - a grilled half chicken with a nice sauce and mashed potatoes. The fusion concept doesn't always work but I think that this restaurant has done a nice job with it. There was live music when we went which was a friday night. They have really great options for seating, indoor, cool patio vibes and then a tented area. The restaurant is located away from the busy part of Burbank so maybe why there was no one there. We ordered the ahi tuna tacos, burrata pizza and truffle rigatoni pasta and shared everything between 2 people. Everything we ordered was really good. I loved that the pizza was thin crust but still crispy, pretty decent sized pizza with about 6 slices. Took the rest home. The pasta cooked perfectly al dente and was a good sized portion and who doesn't love truffle. Was really stuffed but wasn't walking away without trying the honey cake. Was so good without being super sweet and the layers made the cake very light. Would go back to try other things on the menu since many things sounded delish. read more
