Once they are able to push a state to all-self-service, you won't pay any less (if you even get a discount now). This will not benefit you in any way, and it will hurt you or your community. More people on welfare and public assistance, or more homeless. We pulled up to full-service, and no one came to fill us up, even when we pressed that button. We never had a problem with full service until Oregon allowed self-service. Maybe management is telling staff not to assist people unless they come in to the gas station; or maybe they're just not hiring adequate staff now. Who knows. But the only way to keep these jobs in our community and make sure people who want service, get service, is to refuse to use self-service. This goes for self-checking at stores. Companies make record profits now, and they sure don't return their cost savings to us. Better yet, change the law back.

I pulled up and was greeted by an energetic, vibrant young man - I requested $7 cash and he did his job. While pumping my gas he interacted in a personal and sincere way. He was professional and excited to be working at Joe's. He exuded pride and joy to be outside helping me. His name: Max - he's there usually 2-Close but I lucked out this morning as he MADE MY DAY!!
