Another gas station review lol. I like this particular Terribles. It's easily accessed from The 95 or Durango. And it's also conveniently located in a prime location: there's a ton of stuff to do after you get gas. Burger spot, ice cream, bars tire shop, sandwich place a pizzeria all in the same shopping center. The interior is pretty big and the restrooms are surprisingly, actually very clean. Like, everytime I've used it I'm surprised it smells of cleaning product and not of urine or fecal matter. Seriously, gas station bathrooms are notorious for having doo doo stains on the toilet seat and this place is always spotless. So the fact that this place has consistently been clean is enough reason for me to write a 1,000 word essay on why this place rocks. But I won't lol. There are tons of snacks and refreshments to fill up on while you're here. And if you're like me, and like playing video slots, their gaming area is staffed with roughly 8 machines and they pay out too! All together I've won over $2,000 at this location. There's also a brushless car wash that I love. So if your car is fairly new and you'd rather no abrasive brushes touch it, this is a good spot to take it. The following happened over the last few days: I had applied at Terrible Herbst's to work temporarily until I was fully hired at Clark County. During the process several employees were rude and disrespectful and in fact were attempting to cause arguments and fights with me. I even have a recorded message from a Terrible Herbst employee impersonating me since I have call screening turned on and asks whomever is calling to state their name, but instead of stating their name the Terrible Herbst's employee had actually impersonated me and said my married name Amy Luciano. I accepted the call since was upset and wanted to know who was calling since didn't state their name and was transferred to a guy and offered onboarding at Terrible Herbst's. About an hour later I had called and left a voicemail message that at this time I would not be moving forward with Terrible Herbst's after I received an email message from Clark County. Several hours later Josh called and alleged that somebody made him call me and falsely allege that I had been rude when in fact I never had been rude. When I asked who it was thereafter it was Josh that alleged it was Shayday that made Josh call and make the false allegations that I had been rude when in fact I hadn't been. My eighteen year old son Daniel Dziedzic had even been in the room and heard that I hadn't been rude. These actions of Terrible Herbst's employees brought back some of the most painful memories of Terrible Herbst's employees saying some of the most rude, negative, and abusive words imaginable during 2019-2021, since I wouldn't do any Terrible Herbst's employees paralegal work. Terrible Herbts's employee had even stolen my gaming ticket in excess of $180.00 during 2021. Terrible Herbts's also offers up to $16.00 per hour but really only offers $12.50 per hour even if you have experience. Their hiring process is a cattle call and even the guy checking protentional new hires winks and makes inappropriate sexual comments. Clean gas station and convenience store. The staff are robotic and sound like a broke record saying hello in the least enthusiastic voice ever. All has octanes are $5.49/gallon. This is expensive considering gas prices have dropped the past few days. They normally have good prices with variety of sales on various items in the store. Normally, there's a pleasant experience here. Today wasn't a good experience as the item is clearly on sale and I mentioned the sign for the sale. The young man at the register said it's the beginning of the month and all the sales tags were from March and wouldn't be honored although the signs are still in place. The young man went on to say how he's just one person and the only one there, so he doesn't have time to do take down the sale signs and put up new sales signs. It sounds like this guy is a disgruntled employee. What he needs to understand the price on the sign is what should be honored. If he's not honoring the sales signs, how about you let the customers come in and name their own price. I'm sure the owner doesn't like that. Tip to owner, management, and employees. While you are located nearby, there's plenty of other stores that are nearby. I gladly took my hard earned money to another store that actually honors the prices on the shelves. I always go there for gas and vuse pods and the staff is always nice! They are hardly ever busy which I love the most!

This store just opened in May, 2017, and it is wonderful! Being new, it's certainly clean and well-stocked. It has a very nice selection of beverages including a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine (the big, red one with multiple brands and flavors.. Tip: Use the app to make your own mixes!). The car wash is a simple drive-thru. The gas pumps are not plain: They're the first I've ever seen that take Apple Pay! (Or Google/Samsung) How convenient! The police say using those options are much safer, especially since you don't have to pull your wallet out now. Apple Pay at the pump is incredulous, but prices are not as low as Sam's Club. Actually 30¢ higher! There are several selections of hot food items such as hot dogs and taquito type roll ups (Tornado brand), as well as nacho cheese and chili to apply. Really, the only negative I have seen, after several trips, is that they don't have the long, red, fat straws for drinks that 7-Eleven and even some other Terrible Herbst's have. That's a big, inconvenient disappointment, and one that will give me pause to come here for a fountain drink. Otherwise, I'll be back! Update: January, 2018 This store is failing. They still do not have any form of ice tea, whether at the Freestyle machine or the Gold Leaf dispenser other Terrible Herbst's have, still no fat straws, and perhaps most importantly, their cold beverage shelves are empty on a weekday morning (BEFORE the rush!). I could go into a lengthy detail about my experience this morning on 12/1/19 around 5am but I'll give you the short version. We in to pick up some snacks & gas on my way to work. Paid for everything including $10 worth of gas on pump 4. Pumped the gas in my SUV, got in, started the car & gas needle didn't move. NO GAS WAS PUMPED INTO MY CAR !!! WTF ??? But, the meter was running like gas was flowing through the nozzle. Went in & told the manager & he said there is NOTHING he could do. I really like Barbara and Terrence, but this guy Alexander they have working for them is unprofessional, very creepy and bad mouths Terrence and the other employees TO customers! I just came home from this place where Alexander was working by himself and all he could do was gripe and complain about him being the only one there and that all the other coworkers "punker out" tonight. In his own words, "When they ask me if I wanna work over at this store again, I'm gonna go tell him to go bang his head up against the wall!" I'm sorry, what?! And this was a conversation TO A CUSTOMER! This isn't my first weird and awkward encounter with Alexander, so I knew a review was needed for this behavior and overall creepiness to cease. Since opening date of this place I'm there. I was always going for the drinks coz I find that this is closest place that offers cold drinks (soda) in zero calories that you mix . Today cashier Juana gave me a very bad customer service, 1st she asked for my day and I said it's fine then she sarcastically said oh just ok, I kept my cool coz it's still early, so I smiled and continues to smile but again with sarcasm she said don't be so cheerful, then she asked me if want my receipt and I said yes, again with sarcasm you don't need this. She should not be working the counter if she's this rude to customers. Management should look in to this. I would if I'm the manager of this business. Poor training. I'm so disappointed. The most high tech looking Terrible Herbst, I have ever walked into. My gaze was immediately diverted to the vibrant LCD or LED (I don't know) screens above the drink coolers. They served their purpose because I ended up reaching in and grabbed a couple of cool pick-me-ups. If your looking for any particular sundry, your gonna find it hear. Be sure to check out beer. You will find it kept cool and relatively frosty. Be it gas or bubble gum, Terrible's is competitively priced. This location is good to go with everything.........except.....the car wash. Be forewarned....it sucks. I was road tripping and thought that a bright, shiny vehicle would enhance the journey. I paid for the wash at the pump. When I rolled around to the back, there was a one car ahead of me. I also noticed this location offers the robo-arm, brushless kind of experience that has always been hit or miss in my book. If your in a rush, don't get your car washed here....especially if your in a rush. I wasn't, but imagined if I was. The car ahead must have upgraded, and I watched as the robotic washer went round and round and round and round. When my turn finally came, I entered the bay. The machine went to work. When it was done, I tried to manage the dry time appropriately. After my first pit stop on the on 95....I got out and inspected ED209's cousin's work. Not impressed. My car was so dirty. My grandson ate blue cotton candy and had it all over my back seat. I went to Terrible's car wash and Anthony met with me and went over everything that I was concerned about with my car. This young man went beyond helping me, he was so respectful friendly and went the extra mile for me. My car looked amazing and I'm very grateful that Anthony took the time out of his busy day to make sure my needs were met. Outstanding young man and service ! read more

Avoid the car wash. Took my Jeep through it because it is a touch free system and my light bar gets caught on the brushes at regular wash stations. I know it's not gonna be as good because it is touch free, but should at least look better than before you went in.. I go for a coffee refill most days and put my phone # in at checkout for a free one after buying 8. The system has been down for over a week. I'm sure it's not the stores fault. They gave me a free one for the inconvenience today. It's nice to see businesses man up and take care of the customer. 5 stars. They could use some sort of a que line when checking out..not all know the line runs down one of the aisles. Would eliminate folks jumping the line either on purpose or not. read more

Quite disappointed with the car wash. I like that the system is a touch free car wash, however I notice that it does not clean the car as well as other places in the area that uses different methods of brush free/touch free wash. I had to go elsewhere for a rewash. The windshield came out very spotty and there was a bit of spotting. I typically might not mind the windshield since I can do it myself, but the spotting on the body was particularly bad. I was getting the car ready for a show and it was very noticeable. read more

The point of a convenience store is so that people can get in and out quickly. This store totally ignores that fact. Quick is not in their vocabulary, and neither is customer service. Not one worker in there moves with any sense of urgency. The manager of this store is a poor excuse of a manager. I definitely don't care to hear inappropriate jokes about his wife. Now all of these things I have dealt with for the past year, but tonight was really the last straw. I went in there at about 10:05 pm, wanting to purchase a pack of cigarettes. Tenita and another worker, a male, were at the register closest to the entrance. Neither of them greeted me, even as I went straight to the counter and waited. It seemed they were trying to figure out whatever was going on with his till. I stood at the counter for a good 10 seconds waiting on one of them to say something to me. They didn't. At about 15 seconds of standing there, I see another worker walking towards me. I thought, "ok, maybe this register is this guy's till and he's coming to help me". Benefit of the doubt with the other 2 fools. So as he's walking closer, I looked at him and pointed as if to say, "sooo... Who is supposed to be checking people out if these two yahoos aren't speaking up?". I didn't get angry until this guy walked around the counter, got a damn trash bag, looked up at me and asked how are you doing. No move to get me checked out at all. At this point, I figured that the other 2 morons would finally do their job. Nope... They kept on about the register. I made a comment about the lack of acknowledgement, to which the male worker said something about his money being off. I really don't care, that should not have stopped either of them from looking at me and saying "We'll be with you in a moment". I did not appreciate just being completely ignored. I was so annoyed and felt so disrespected that I stormed out. But guess what?!?! They are the closest damn store and I need cigarettes so I storm back in there. I made another comment about how some acknowledgement would have been nice. Something about that made Tenita giggle. Ive always been nice to her so I don't know if she thought my anger was just directed to her co worker, but she was definitely part of that whole experience too. And then... Not sure if race played into this but when I walked back in, a white man was about to go to the male cashier until he saw that he was closed. This asshole of a cashier proceeded to apologize to this white man for his register being closed. That really made my anger soar. You have the nerve to not even acknowledge my presence in the store but you're going to apologize to this guy. Really?!?! read more

These guys must always assume nobody is ever in any kind of hurry. The slowest moving bunch of people ever. If there 5 people in line, you're not getting out of there for 15-30 mins. Day or night. Never stop here if you are in any kind of hurry. Even the carwash, takes about 10-20 mins a person. Good luck if you have 4 people in front of you. Thats 45mins to 1 hr of being stuck for one of the most mediocre drive thru washes. Please tell these guys to show atleast a little sense of urgency. And teach them how to get your pump working in one try by the time you get to the pump. Usually takes another 2-5 mins if they get it on the first try. Literally. Every single one of them that work there is the slowest moving cashier you have ever seen. And they stop to look at everything as they scan, and stop working to talk while waving your atuff around. I really HATE this place I've been living in the area for about 4 years and was so happy they gave us a convenience store that we didn't have to go all the way to Durango. But they SUCK howwwwww is the line always super long howwwwww do you not have change? How does the chick take a sip AND THEN start to ring people up when the line is all the way down the aisle. This is the worst car wash in the world you pay your $30 a month to get your car wash and every time you go there you have to call the manager because the employees are standing around on their cell phone or chit-chatting and playing around tossing towels at each other when you get your car back you have soap from the car wash sliding all down and dried up on your car spots all over it not only that they do not clean the inside of your windows they don't clean the in between console and between your seats they have do your car so you may as well go to the new car wash call WOW!... there is a new one located on Rancho and Craig the people there in the manager extremely nice yes you may have to clean your own windows in the inside but the dryers are completely better the car wash is better it's all around better and it's cheaper for the same price you get something to clean your dash for $28 you get an Armor All wipes to do your own dashboard you get air fresheners for your car you pay $28 at Terrible Herbst and you don't get that. All you have to do is vacuum it out yourself and dry your own spray your own Windows big deal but you save money and you get a deal the way you want it I've contacted the corporate offices and ask to speak to the female manager of the car washes and I left her a message and she never returned my call about the poor service I got one of the employees at Centennial Hills I went there and he specified Allied that I said I never said that to him but he went and told the manager and had the manager come try to scream me out the manager is lucky he didn't get cursed out but I don't appreciate being lied on so I had to cancel my membership with them if you want to get it deer right sometimes you got to do it yourself the service is poor they have doing your car if you're going to pay the money every month if you want to come everyday then that's what you pay for and you wanted it right do not go to Centennial Hills there are brand new car washes around here called wow there's another one on Rancho and Cheyenne that's $3 per wash and the vacuum it out is free so you can get a better deal for spending your money instead of having them half-assing your car don't go to Centennial Hills Car Wash and then it Corporate Offices manager over Car Wash she doesn't call anybody back and my next step is to put this on Better Business Bureau because it's service is poor so the 13th will be my last day at the sorry car wash read more

8/25 Friday Night...9:50pm Absolutely terrible service! Went in for a couple drinks and there was 1 male cashier with 10 people in line. Once someone decided to come up and help they had the other cashier close with a very long line. I get breaks or shift changes, but at least get the line down first. In addition, the girl that came up was a tall darker skinned girl in a red shirt followed by a shorter girl in a blue shirt that was observing from behind. While ringing up customers they were chit chatting about their lives and the 3 jobs the one girl has, in the mean time we are all waiting in line having to listen to it!! For the area this gas station is in, I would expect a much higher level of service and gratitude toward the customers! I didn't even get a smile or a thank you! Won't be back, which sucks because I live up the street! Rather go to Freddy's! At least they tell me to have a fabulous day! read more
