At times, due to life changes, I had to stop payments which qualified me for financial assistance but I picked the payments back up after a month. Ms Wendy has been perfect to deal with, she always keeps my best interest in mind and sometimes knocks some sense into me when it comes to financial questions. So very easy to deal with, financial help when needed, and the customer service is smart not pushy.

We have been calling every month to transfer money from her savings to her checking. I thought that it was strange that her accounts were only in her name. I asked if she wanted one or both of her sons on her accounts... to be safe... in case she goes into the hospital again... She agreed. I parked in the shared parking lot at Waipahu Town Center. Located right next to Longs Drugs Store, American Savings Bank has two Automated Teller Machines outside for after hour transactions. They close at 5pm on Mondays through Thursdays; 6pm on Fridays; and 1pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Inside the spacious, clean environment, there were two visible tellers. Another customer was waiting for the 3rd teller who was in the back. I grabbed an office chair from the office on the end so aunty could sit down while she waited for her turn. A teller finally was free to help us, but she couldn't do everything that we requested. The Assistant Vice President, Jill, came to our aid. We followed her to her office and laid out some documents. Jill did as much as she could. We will keep in touch and finish this transaction tomorrow. Thank you! Note: checks are $28.50 per box - hopefully, this fee can be waived!

I left after the 25 min mark of just being outside. I already knew once I get in it will be another 20 minutes or so ? I left and decided to go to ASB in Ewa Beach and no one was there. I got helped right away. Anyway, I was just there to deposit money into my dad bank acc. So it was no big deal. I had ASB for 7 yrs until my recent close.. I no longer Bank with ASB Anymore due to the long waits and unusual service when being helped. Hopefully one day I will resurface to ASB Loyalty and reopen a acc.

Said it wasn't ready when I was there, and then two hours later, called me to say it was ready?? And they also could not fix my account issue unless I waited an ADDITIONAL HOUR to be helped. Mind you, I, along with multiple other people, were waiting a long time already because the tellers were chatting and talking story... So since they called me saying that my currency was now ready, I go back. The teller then tells me that another teller was "staring at me" because something about her being available at the time or about my currency being ready.. but I'm thinking to myself, if you saw me leaving knowing YOU were able to service me, WHY didn't you stop me... So then I could have saved gas AND another trip back to this location. Horrible, horrible experience over here. If you want good, genuine customer service who are also quick, just go to the Pearl City branch.

CPB has long lines, but it does go by quickly. I only come on the weekends to cash my check, so I try to come closer to opening hours. Like past comments, it is a little noisy, since customers are on their phones at high volumes and sometimes there can be little to no privacy since you can hear everyones business. However, the tellers are really nice and helpful and they do their best they can to provide great customer service. Besides English, they speak Tagalog and Illocano to cater to the people in the neighborhood.

My services are quite basic today so it was more of the convenience with lots of free parking right in front of the building and they had four tellers as well which none are in training so it was a great start. This Waipahu location is nice sharing lot with Don Quijote among other tenants as well it didn't take very long to get my banking done in comparison to town location which was nice as I already was running behind on my errands. I happened to be a lucky winner for the gift certificate to Sakura Restaurant in Mililani. Yay! Thank you! Via Instagram messaging, the Social Media Team of First Hawaiian Bank contacted me to complete some forms. I told them that I don't have a printer and asked if I could go to a branch to sign the forms. I chose the Waipahu location of First Hawaiian Bank because Honolulu locations are kind of busy, don't have free parking, and probably don't have as much time to chat. I was right! Located next to "The Rail" station at Don Quijote, First Hawaiian Bank in Waipahu had many open, free parking spaces! They're on the same street at McDonald's and the US Post Office. Outside, I noticed the convenient Automatic Teller Machine. Inside, there was no line at 10am! I appreciated the air conditioning, spacious interior, and bright environment! The teller was very nice. She called the worker who had the information. I signed the forms while having a pleasant conversation! Thank you very much for the great experience and for helping our community!

I was able to transfer money easily from one to the other! I like Aloha Pacific Federal Credit Union for its yearly local calendar. They ask members to submit photos for the theme of the year. For example, one year, the theme was favorite places. This past year, it was pets. In the past, I remember shared recipes. Anyway, the Waikele location is new-looking, clean, spacious, and bright. It felt a bit odd when I was doing my transaction because I think there could be more privacy... Maybe if the line for the tellers was further away from the counters? Thanks for the friendly, efficient service! I'll be back!
