Overall a great experience I had a broken frunk - It wasn't opening. The service I requested was quoted at ~$800 to replace both latches. I dropped it off without issue at 9AM, they provided a loaner car for me, and they finished up at 3:15PM (~6 hours). They ended up only needing to replace one of the two latches, so I was only charged $300. I am very pleased with the service. It felt fast & efficient, and it was done very professionally with integrity. read more

1. I asked if the car will be ready to pick up on Friday,to plan my weekend and get a loaner or not, the answer was yes but I got the vehicle on Monday. 2. The car was disgusting. Covered with bird poop all over it, had dirty hand marks exterior or interior. Tesla is the only service center I have ever sealed with who gives vehicles back dirty. 3. I specifically ask to charge the car during the service, I picked up car less than 10% charge, could not make it to the summer camp to pick up my son! This is ridiculous. I know technicians been paid very law at the service center but come on, for the amount we pay for the service, car needs to be at least washed or over 20% charged just like other EV companies do. Asked for other services to be performed and when walking to get my car, I asked about the other services and the rep said he didn't hear me say it. Got a window replaced and my car came back looking like it was driven in Nebraska with the windows down. Fingerprints, dust, dirt and footprints all over the vehicle. I have so much history with this location because my previous Tesla had so many problems with it. So let me just start by thanking the general manager first because he went above and beyond to help me with my car. Tesla ended up buying the car back after I took them to their arbitration first and then went through the attorney generals office in Washington state. But to go back to this service center, contrary to what they say about your appointment time, it's first come first serve from what I have seen. I have been told many things throughout my close to 20 visits at this location and I am not quite sure that I trust what the technicians tell me. I actually go through and read and research myself because I have been told many lies by their mechanics. My recommendation is that you document every problem, every visit, have everything in writing so that it's easier for you when and if you have to go through arbitration, I learned that so many vehicles go through that buy back program because they have so many problems but their PR team does a good job of hiding it. With that said, the one thing that I can't really complain is that this service team is friendly and eager to help you but the technology is so sophisticated, they have to read and research some of the new problems so I can't blame them. Also, I have never paid a dime because of the warranty and they give you a loaner so that's awesome of them. read more

2022 LEMON MODEL 3 We have sent 2 demand letters to corporate and one buy back request. Tesla says our car is in great condition. It has not been driven since 5/19/24. It has toxic mold (reported to Tesla service center and corporate) from failed seals they did fix, water flooded trunk and frunk, odometer Tesla sodo changed (see picture) and added 350 miles, gears and emergency brake failure, rodents, screen, connectivity, charger and battery replaced and still broken, screen replaced and still broken, water in windows, water in lights, the list goes on. Natalie, the manager, has also personally changed the records to in their favor and admitted to this. She says they call this "resolution of education". Service center changes requests to say I put in statements I did not and deletes messaging threads. They refuse to let me use app, demand I go in car with mold and drive, refuse me service. Tesla also demands $200+/hr to remove panels to service car. The car has been in service more than 11 times for long periods since purchased new 5/2022. It is still under manufacturer warranty currently. Tesla will not tow car because of the smell they caused, and continuously changes warranty terms. Corporate told us they do not have to disclose names of who you talk to, manager email, and they cannot enforce service center to do warranty work. Tech told me they drink grape soda over cars while working on them. Manager Natalie says they are not certified for mold removal but had techs scrape mold out of my car. She told me I need to put the car through my insurance company after they clearly destroyed it. She was only willing to schedule me in July 2024 if I agree to pay $1700 for warranty work. Scam. I had a professional mold inspection company test the car and the inspector broke out in hives from exposure. My family is seeking medical care for the mold and rodent exposure. I personally have been having severe heart and lung issues the duration of owning the car that instantly stopped when the car was no longer drivable. This car is dangerous and a lemon. read more

Would you like to spend a lot of money on a car, have your time wasted and be treated poorly because they don't care about your business? Buy a Tesla and bring it for service here. Not only will your issues not be resolved, but you'll be treated poorly too (no worries, this is free). I scheduled service in May for an issue with my windows. At that point, Tesla scheduled a mobile service for me and had someone come out and assess the issue. After the guy came out to look at my car, he said there was nothing he could do and said he would talk to a technician. He called me a little while later and told me to bring in my car for service because the glass would need to be replaced. I brought in my car to the SODO location for service and after a day, they told me they didn't need to replace the glass after all, they just buffed it out and it was fine. I verified that the issue wouldn't happen any more and they said no. Soon after, the issue was still present, so I scheduled another service appointment to get it fixed. I brought my car in for service and THEN was told in person that it was not an issue, it was perfectly normal. After being given the run around for the better part of an hour, I was then told the issue was not with the glass but with a water leak and they would do water leak tests. Three days later, I was advised that service was complete on my car. They said there was no leak and they cleaned the glass, but that completely negated what they said before (that there was a leak causing the glass issue). I asked to speak to a manager at that point. A manager called me and after 20 minutes on the phone, finally agreed that it was an issue and it was past the point of being "normal" and they would put the car back in service to replace the glass. Hours later, another manager called me and asked if my issues were resolved, and I said I would see when I picked up the car. He said that they were able to clean the car....so once again, the glass wasn't replaced and the employees didn't do what they told me they would. There is a serious communication breakdown here. It feels like every single employee feels empowered to say what they want to and not actually act on what they say. At no point has anyone really acknowledged that maybe Tesla was in the wrong or that their methods are lacking. I understand that businesses aren't perfect, everyone's customer service and communication can improve, that there are supply chain shortages, but this is really inexcusable behavior. I fully expect all the competing EV companies to learn from Tesla's mistakes of poor service and win over their customers in the long run. read more

Every service appointment really depends on your SA. I was paired with Tony and he went above and beyond. He provided me with a direct line as well as a loaner vehicle as my service took a little over a day. The only downside is that they get very busy. My appointment was at 9am and there was already a line waiting to get into service. It took about 20 minutes just to get in and meet with the SA. Overall, my experience with Tony was amazing. read more

After we accepted delivery of our brand new Tesla Model Y, we were advised to submit a ticket to our Tesla app after we did our own self-inspection at home as soon as possible. We submitted our ticket less than 24 hours of accepting delivery with less than 15 mi on the car. We tried to schedule an appointment with the service center in Renton, WA, but found that the earliest a service center was able to see us was only available at their newly relocated Seattle location (in SoDo. We ended up submitting a ticket to have them rectify some minimal paint and sealing issues, but they were willing to service us. After dropping off the car, we were told that the job would take a week for the repair. It seemed pretty long for the repairs we were requesting, but didn't question it since we assumed it was due to all the backed up services they needed to perform while following COVID measures. I wish that there was a way to speak with a representative on the phone. They have a phone number listed on their website, but if you call them, their automated message will tell you to message the service center through the Tesla app. It was a minor thing that bothered me because sometimes I just have a simple yes or no question that can be answered in a second. However, you need to message them on the app so that they can respond to you when it's convenient for them. Also, although they were able to rectify all the minor imperfections we found, I can't say I was fully satisfied with the condition of the car after we received it. For example, there was a part under the hood that was missing some paint. They were able to paint it, but they must have closed it before it fully dried. Now we have stains on the edge of the frunk from where the paint job left an imprint. Additionally, the car was DIRTY. We brought a brand-new Tesla to the shop with less than 50 mi on it, but the staff had no consideration with the dirt they brought in to the interior and exterior of the car. We found dirt around the exterior of the car AND on the interior of the front door panel and mats. Luckily we had all weather mats put in the car before we left it with them so it makes cleaning up after them easier. read more

I picked up my M3 Highland at Seattle SODO and I was shocked about their shitty customer service. There were a lot of people in the employee room chatting while there is only 1 employee helping 12 people in line to pick up their car. I feel sorry for the employee who is in the desk while the 7 Tesla employees in the room just chatting. Other bad experience, I was there on time with my appointment but I wasn't able to get a help until an hour after. The car was dirty and full of dirt and not washed. I did full inspection myself and there were 6 total visible deep scratches in the body and one of the door panel was misaligned. The top of the right headlight had a visible gap between the hood while the left side was flushed and no gap. Traditional dealer gets the job done to make their reputation very good while TESLA do the opposite. They don't care about you as customer once you put up and order and bought their car since you are just a number to them. I wish they have a different delivery area other than SODO. I wouldn't want to come back here. If this management is a mess now, they should replace the managers or supervisors who manage this location. Shame on people managing this location! They need to be retrained or get fired. read more

The service representatives could not care less if you have a pleasant experience while handing over your car to get repaired. In fact, I think they are mad that you are there. I've been to the service center in Lynnwood, WA (several times because Teslas break down for the dumbest reasons) and the people there were professional and courteous. Rattle and squeak noise bothered me a few days after traveling to Oregon on first heavy winter snow! Making an appointment is a breeze, everything is done through Tesla app! Every questions asked is tackled accordingly! Rattle and noise were fixed on same day covered under warranty! A loaner car was provided too with free charging! Daniel and the rests of the staffs gave their two cents whenever asked of any concerns. Special thanks to Chandler who analyzed the issue with me on the road! These clowns are disorganized, forgetful, and frankly the level of service is unacceptable given the premium paid for the vehicle and the cost of repairs. Every step of the process has been an exercise in non-existent customer service. From the initial tow--which was the wrong size of tow truck, to damaging my key fob, to arriving to pickup my car with only 12 miles of charge. Belated thank you and appreciation to the good people at the Seattle Tesla service center. I was a day 1 reservation holder for the Model 3 and one of the first to take delivery in Seattle in 2018. I've only had to take it for body work and most recently following a hit and run. The collision supervisor Darryl and his team were professional and went out of their way to work with my hectic schedule. My experience at the Bellevue service center was mixed so glad that the Seattle service center is back open, better than even. Though I'm on the Eastside now, I'll be making the trip to Seattle for any work on our Teslas. read more

Be careful for dropping your car off for service. They leave dirty finger prints EVERYWHERE. They claim to fix the concerns but they never get fixed. I bought a Tesla to try to cut service visits but I'm here every month and sometimes 2-3 times a month for the SAME thing. I would never trust them with my car ever again. The service advisors make me feel like it's an inconvenience for me to be there. They don't care and the managers never do anything. They don't hold their team accountable. The female manager told me to sell my car instead of being sympathetic. I spent almost 70k for my performance model 3 and it feels cheap and poorly made. I hate tesla and would never purchase let alone go to sodo or the Bellevue location. Trash technicians and human beings. read more

I don't write reviews often. To get a review out of me a company would've had to spit in my face. I usually don't curse and act a fool on reviews. As much as I want to despite how disrespectful and unprofessional this shop was, I'm not. They visually and verbally and destructively displayed their discrimination towards me. They tried to keep my vehicle longer than what wasneeded, to get more man hours on the books possibly. They refused service to me another day. Left my car in service mode. Disabled my supercharging. I do not owe money for idle fees, they charged it at their shop. They replaced my window and now ALL of my windows going down, half way up, and back down again. The passenger window won't go down now unless you push the button all the way down and pull it up where you want it. And IT JUST SO HAPPENED NOW THERE IS A COOLANT LEAK. I have never had a problem with my Tesla. Ever other than tire replacements I've had done at Tesla centers elsewhere. I paid 1500 for an MCU Upgrade at the service center in Jacksonville Fl. I have not had 1, not one issue with my Tesla until I got service here. I complained and they said VERY unapologetically, I could go get service elsewhere. They made it clear I was not welcome there at that shop. I'm ok with that. I hope this review gives them satisfaction because If I wasn't afraid of losing my freedom I'd go up there and that's on Everything. read more

Tesla Service did a great job installing my HomeLink kit, and repairing the few minor items I found during the delivery inspection when we first received our Model Y. Even better, Tesla service helped me install 3rd party mud-flaps and didn't charge me!! Finally, when I scratched one of my rims, they were able to get it repaired within a day and it looks brand new. Both visits to the service center were fast and my info was ready when I gave my contact info. I left with a loaner car (Model 3) so our family wasn't left in the lurch while the service took place. Both visits were done quickly as well, so we didn't wait more than a day to get our Model Y back. Tesla service has been AMAZING for our family! read more

Where do I start...Upon signing agreements/paperwork/paid in full (actually, paid more than the price of the vehicle with a cashier's check) the Service Agent handed me the key cards and wished me good luck. Silly me...I got in the vehicle and drove away...on my way back to our hotel in Tacoma (we had flown in the previous night from Alaska) my mind kept going to the paperwork I signed and hoping I had everything I needed and I didn't want to be distracted when driving so I put that on the back burner. When I got to the hotel I walked around the vehicle and noticed a rather large screw completely embedded in the passenger rear tire...which explained the low tire pressure warning I was getting on the drive. I also noticed the J1772 charging adapter was not in the vehicle. It was then, I realized I was driving with no registration tag...no temporary tag, nada. Yes, I called them...and I was informed all of my paperwork for the vehicle was not completed asking if I could drive back from Tacoma to the Seattle service center to have the paperwork completed in full and to receive my temporary tag (like I had a choice). Okay, now I'm driving on a tire with a screw in it in a vehicle that I have absolutely no paperwork to indicate ownership and no registration/nor temporary tag...what could possibly go wrong. I am fortunate I wasn't stopped by the police for anything or I would have been a very uncomfortable position, fortunately I arrived at the service center before they closed and a young lady met me at the door. We went inside and she explained the service agent helping me was new and he did not know what paperwork needed to be completed before handing off the car to the new owner. The bad: I forgot to mention the J1772 charging adaptor and the screw in the tire (I'm thinking they would have pushed back since I had already left and come back). Regardless, the experience was nothing like what I experienced when I picked up our Model Y in Renton. Very professional and just nice people to deal with. This location is different, the building is rented and looks rented...there is a single restroom for employees and clients which is unisex...and yes, if you pick up your vehicle here you can expect a waiting line for the restroom. If I had to do it over again I would never have accepted my delivery at the Seattle location, there are just too many negatives and I'm still trying to get my charging adapter :( with no joy. As a military spouse, the little hiccups in life feel a bit worse when you are on your own. Getting my groceries trapped in my frunk is up there on one of the more stressful life hiccups because the closest service center is an hour an a half away from my home. Everyone at the service center was so kind and went the extra mile to make my small kids and I feel special. They had no idea that I am a stressed out mom trying to juggle a lot, but the way the customer service reps treated us from the second we walked in the door was very kind and helpful. They fixed the frunk, saved my groceries, gave my kids their own model of "Dads car," and took care of my tire pressure because my tire light was on.
