As of November 2022, I'm surprised that this area still does not have a paved road/parking lot yet! It would be nice if they would have paved this area by now. This used to be in the middle of nowhere, but there is a future Shell gas station & convenient store that is currently being constructed, as of November 2022. This Tesla Supercharging location does have a restroom that is protected with a code that you can find in your Tesla, but I wonder if this is temporary after the Shell's convenience store is completed? As for the chargers, they are right off the freeway and they're all 250 kWh speeds. This is a very nice place to stop at if you just want to use a quick bathroom break and limit your time off the freeway. The Tejon Ranch location is nearby and has more chargers; but they'll take longer to get too from the off-ramps, and you'll spend more time at Tejon Ranch if you're interested in grabbing something to eat or to shop & look around. I'm looking forward to seeing this area grow, but I do like how convenient it is right now to go to this location for a quick charge. read more

Tesla charging is great as with other Tesla charging. Lots of spaces. The mini mart's ladies restroom is something else though. On the 2 episodes that i've been there, there was no toilet seat cover nor any toilet paper on all the cubicles. On the floor, thrown all over are toilet papers. These is my observation on 2 different episodes. read more

This place is so new that nothing has been paved yet. Mobile restrooms are super clean and well lit. You do need to follow some instruction on your touchscreen to get the restroom code. Great idea to keep it safe and to keep non Teslas out. Check my pic for details on how to access code. read more

The low rating is for the bathrooms in the mini market at the charging locations. This is THE WORST cleaned station ever! There were now seat liners in any of the stalls. Two of the toilets had poo. There was a strong stench of poo and urine. The waste baskets in each stall were full. There was hair in both sinks. TERRIBLE!! It looks like they hadn't been routinely attended to. For charging, there are about 20 chargers and all work well. The store attached is well stocked although I was furious about the bath conditions and chose not to patronize the store. I informed the employees about the deplorable conditions. I guess they don't use the bathroom?! read more

This is a bare-bones charger. There is 0 shade and 2 porta potties for use at the far end of the lot. There is a gas station and store under construction as of May 28, 2024 but they are not open (including bathrooms). The entrance is now through the gas station pumps, with a staff member guiding you through. You then drive around the back of the store to the chargers. Exit the same way. Be aware that this is not a Kettleman city type charger with a lounge and indoor bathrooms. read more

No... just no. If your Tesla navigation tells you to stop here, avoid if you can... especially if you need a bathroom break. Either charge more at your previous stop, or wait till you get to the Outlets at Tejon. Main reason is that the bathrooms are gross. You'd think they'd be decent since they look nice (they're fancier portapotties) but when I went, there was no water at all--no flushing, no sinks. There was at least Toilet paper and sanitizer but... ugh no. It's also at a stop right off the freeway with absolutely nothing next to it. It's even still on dirt for the most part. There seems fo be construction going on here, so thinking this might change over time. If you do stop here, you've been warned. At least know that you can't pick up a snack and there's a chance the bathrooms are disgusting. But hey if you JUST need to charge, the chargers are fast and there's a fair amount of them. read more

The Supercharger is fine and everything works well. The problem I have is that Tesla has gone from its original idea of putting chargers in locations where you could do things while you are stopped, such as going to restaurants, to putting them in the middle of nowhere. In many places, there's nothing but fast food, which is fine if you like fast food. But here, there's nothing. Since the charging itself is fine, it's a good place to stop if you need to charge and do nothing else, or want to watch videos in your car. If you want to get a good meal, or even a fast one, go somewhere else. read more

As of this review, this is purely a charging location where you can get a fast charge at a version 3 supercharger and move on. If you're looking for services, food and possibly a clean restroom, that this is not. In fact, I feel like they recently ripped up the asphalt marking each spot for some reason and some people don't park there cars correctly so you might actually be very close to the cars next to you. Just beware. If you're looking for services other than just a fast charge, stop at the Tejon Outlets and get a deep charge so you can make it to Kettleman City, because your next options charging options heading north are no better...aside from being able to buy food. read more

Ok if all you want to do is charge. As of 8/13/23 there are only the porta potties and gravel. I spoke to the "security" person and he told me he thought construction would resume on 8/14/23. I was the only Tesla using the superchargers and I received the full amp benefit. Very easy on-off the I-5 and quick and easy access from CA 166 via River Road if heading north or east toward Mojave. read more

I tried this Supercharger location for the first time during the Christmas holiday. I usually stop elsewhere, but the navigation kept pointing me to this spot, so I thought I would try it. The charger worked fine, but there were no amenities, only this lot on the side of the highway, and the parking lot and driveway are not paved. I bottomed out in a pothole on the way out at night, but luckily no damage was done. I recommend sticking with Kettleman and other bigger stations. read more
