So we're Ford Mach-E drivers, and we use Tesla charging stations where available, taking advantage of the partnership between Ford and Tesla (and an adaptor). While this station is (unlike many other) set up in a way that is friendly and accessible to cars with their charging ports in other areas than the rear of the vehicle, unfortunately this location is NOT one that is in the network of Tesla charging locations that is partnered with any other manufacturers. Which is unfortunate, because literally EVERY time I've been here, about 40 of the 50 charging terminals are empty. Sure would be nice to be able to charge here for all those other brands. read more

This location is the last big stop before the Grapevine, by the food places and always super hot during the summer so why so little super chargers? Many places to eat around here. Stopped during Thanksgiving weekend and was thanked by Tesla with FREE supercharging from 7pm - 10am! I arrived around 7:30pm and it was very busy but didn't have to wait. There's very clean restrooms in the outlet mall and plenty of fast food joints to grab a bite to eat while you charge. Good thing is that it looks like they are adding about 20 more charging stalls soon, too. Great spot to charge up, stretch out and get a few steps in. read more

This is a great Tesla Supercharger. The area is very safe, has lots of nearby businesses including places to eat (Chipotle, Panda Express, In 'n' Out, Denny's etc), gas stations, and a well-kept Best Western hotel. It's very clean, has plenty of chargers, was not busy ( 10 Teslas charging on a Wednesday in May) and had a shade structure on about a third of the chargers. I imagine it gets really hot here in summer as it's in the Central Valley just on the other side of the Grapevine ( Tejon Pass) from Los Angeles. Highly recommend. read more

This Supercharger station is off the Tejon Ranch exit at the bottom of the Grapevine. The best part is that this station is surrounded by lots of restaurants. The only downside is there aren't enough chargers, IMO. There are 24 stations, which is more than most, but this rest stop is super busy. It is a Saturday, so it is naturally busy today, but I still feel like it could use more units. The one I used a few hours north had a whopping 56 chargers! read more

Here we found 23 charging stations with an impressive output of 450 mi/hr and 126 kW. A short yet satisfying drink from this electron river and we were back on the road with our destination a manageable distance away. We were not hungry but it is also good to know that there are many locations here for a quick meal the next time we are in the area. read more

This is my first supercharger on the 5 freeway road trip. I read a review from someone that said they love middle of nowhere supercharger and I agree. Not being in the Bay area or SoCal makes the olds of getting a free charger available go up exponentially. And if you are in any other state the odds will go up higher than Snoop Dogg or where no man has gone before. Although, there was no waiting on an early Saturday morning I am concerned that this could be an easy location to overflow with a line of Tesla's. The stop itself is Meh especially if you arrive before 11 am because most of the businesses will be closed and you have to hike to the nearest gas station to use the restroom. I know the irony of going to a gas station on Tesla road trip. Also it is hot AF! Yes, I saw photos of a solar panel as shade. Hmm. Really? There's like 4 spaces and if you want a fast charge (not shared circuit) you make sure to park alternating with a gap space meaning only 2 people will park in the shade when not busy. I may try to skip this spot on a holiday weekend because it will be subject to people heading south getting a last charge and people heading north with smaller battery sizes or heavy foot on the "gas" petal syndrome. I only popped in for 10 minutes charge to maximize the time on the road but I'm sure some people that don't know how to plan a trip will stay an hour or more to full charge. PERFECT SPOT RIGHT BEFORE THE GRAPEVINE WHEN CHARGING DURING THE SUMMER SEASONS This is one of the few stations I've been to where (half of) the bays are covered by a solar panels to block out direct sunlight. Extremely convenient! Within walking distance, there is a McDonalds, Panda Express, In-N-Out, Chipotle, and Yogurtland. There's also a Mobil gas station steps away that, and I kid you not, have one of the cleanest and most well-kept gas station public restrooms I've ever seen in my life. I was there the other week and holiday decor was put up all around the mirrors and the stalls. WTF. On the other side of the freeway there's an outlet of even more restaurants that you and/or your family can visit once you're done juicing up. We're there from SD on Monday 06/19. There were so many stations and so many row of stations. Except may be 1 row is working. The rest have just had the cable hung on top of them. I tried a few stations and a few row. Got a little nervous. Then found out. And there were lots of Tesla circling around trying, cussing... There were almost 0 eatery at the mall except a subway. The line here was long such that even the server thought that a tourist bus stopped. Unless the charging situation is addressed, I dont think we'll go here again in future. read more

For purely charging only (vs. nearby amenities), make sure you go to the Tesla Supercharging Station at the Tejon Outlets. When I went over Thanksgiving (11/22), google maps kept getting confused. I would map to the Columbia Outlet store or Nordstrom Rack shoes, which are the 2 stores closest to the new superchargers. There are a lot more chargers than the "other" Tejon Ranch supercharging station AND the other one didn't work as well. The older location stopped charging while I walked away. So when I returned, it had not charged AND I was charged an idling fee for supposedly parking beyond my charging time. MUCH better to make sure you go to the Tejon OUTLETS supercharging station. But if you want to eat, the "other" station (Tejon Ranch) does have food within walking distance. The newer one at the outlets just has lots of stores close by and I didn't see any food (but I didn't need to eat as I had food in the car). read more

Not the largest Supercharger Station, but it's always crowded due to its prime location -- the last charging stop just before the Grapevine if heading South into the LA area. There are no dedicated restrooms here, so going when the nearby eateries are open is key. Charging speeds are decent in spite of the heavy usage. read more

This is a good supercharging station to stop at to take a break from you drive. They have restaurants, hotels, gas stations with a store to grab snacks and/or drinks very nearby. There is a Starbucks, Arby's, Wendy's, Subway, In-and-Out Burger, Del Taco, Denny's and am Iron Skillet. The Mini Mart has the cleanest bathroom ever and it's always decorated to the next holiday. Very nice. They have expanded to 24 stations, but the new signs actually say 30 minute general parking is allowed, which means regular cars are now parking in the Tesla charging spots. When it's busy, they shouldn't be parking there, as this is our "gas" station. They don't see our Tesla's parked at the gas station pumps taking up their space, right? It's also near the outlet mall if you feel like shopping :) read more

This Tesla station is easy to find with the Tesla navigation and is located near the end of the street. Next door is a sandwich shop, Chipotle, and Panda Express. A little farther are Starbucks and McDonalds, so plenty of food choices here. There is no onsite restroom, so you will need to use one of those businesses' restrooms. There are about 20 chargers at this station. Some chargers are covered, which will provide shade during a hot day. One frustration was that several chargers were out of service, which we could only tell because previous drivers at left the charge cord on the ground. With demand increasing for these charging stations, Tesla will need to do a better job of keeping the chargers in good working condition. One last comment about this location. With the outlet stores nearby (a mile away but on the other side of the freeway), it would have been a perfect opportunity to place the charging station near those stores. Being able to charge while visiting the outlet stores would have been a great combination. read more

Wonderful clean supercharger. Our halfway stop to Paso Robles and it's perfect. Lovely little Denny's that was perfect for breakfast although I do wish it was the Black Bear Diner across the freeway!
