We ate at both restaurants located on the property, enjoying the yodeler by far the best! Outside hot tub and pool have great views of the mountain and the indoor hot tub tubs are for when it's too cold outside. Great access to outdoor activities at 8900 feet! It was nice to not be stuck in the town of Mammoth Lakes and up in nature! I would not hesitate to stay here again on a future visit

They also offer ski valet right in the lobby, which makes the walk even shorter. Huge plus: boot dryers. Check-in was super easy, and we upgraded our room to one of their "condos." Just to set expectations: this isn't a full condo. It's essentially a hotel room with a small living area and a Murphy bed. Still comfortable and totally fine for what we needed. The best part of this hotel is that it's dog-friendly -- and truly dog-friendly. Any size dog, big or small, and there were dogs everywhere (including ours). There's a forested area behind the hotel that's perfect for letting your pup play in the snow. One downside: some guests don't pick up after their dogs, so there was dog poop around even though the hotel provides bag dispensers. Maybe adding more (or enforcing cleanup) would help. The price is good, the hotel is clean, but it is old -- very old -- and definitely showing its age. The hallway floors are uneven, the elevator makes some questionable noises, and nothing about it feels modern. That said, after skiing all day, the four hot tubs and heated pool are amazing and very much appreciated. I stay here for convenience, not luxury. The beds are comfortable, towels are clean, and that's honestly all we need. Plus, it's close to The Yodler, our favorite restaurant. We've stayed here many times before and will stay many times again.

A huge pool and jacuzzi, restaurant inside, and amazing views from the windows. Room was 1 bedroom suite with a queen bed, nice couch, a nook by the window to take in the mountain views, large flatscreen TV, kitchen area and good size bathroom and nice showerheads. Good internet, plenty of cable TV options, hair dryer, coffee maker, shuttle service for local attractions, Ski lockers non-smoking facility. Stairs out the back of the hotel down to the Village at Mammoth, lots of shops and food options within walking distance. Secure parking in the 3-level underground parking garage. They do allow dogs and unfortunately there was a barking/crying dog on. Our floor that you could hear the entire way down the hallway to the elevator. (Not the hotels fault-just know you might lodging next to a furry friend) The rooms have a cozy sitting area and window seat. A solid kitchenette complete with refillable water bottles you can borrow. (Unique touch!) there was paint peeling from the back of the door and the shelf in the bathroom hadn't been cleaned...minor issues.. Getting to the village was really easy from the lower level- straight to the staircase outside.

That was really cool, we've never had such a nice upgrade before. The rooms come with all the standard amenities. In the summer, it's important to note there is no AC but the rooms have box fans in them you can put in the windows if it gets warm. The night time cools down pretty quickly so it's not terrible until the afternoon lol. But we spent most of our time outside of the room anyway. The pool is large and there are two hot tubs! Also a fitness room, which we didn't get around to using but it looked nice. Also, on the first floor, there's a store for any of the basics like sunscreen, snacks, T-shirts, and other gifts which is convenient. We had a great time staying here, and I think we would definitely stay here again next time we're in the area.

Only one window that opens with a screen in the bedroom. The living room door opens, but there is no screen so anything can fly in to your place. The place never really cools down. And it becomes a sauna during the day. Either they install AC units or they shouldn't be open in the summer.
