I'd say from the moment we checked in to checking out, staff were very friendly and would say hello and bye each time we came and left, it felt genuine as well. It really added to the great experience. Room was clean and fairly spacious. It was equipped with a mini fridge and that was perfect for storing our cold items. TV was Netflix capable which was a nice addition. We had to call down for towels one time and a staff brought up towels within 5 minutes. Continental breakfast was included with the stay and many different options were offered. Nice clean dining area to sit at and enjoy your morning meal. Lori was so kind and chatted for a while. She was also so kind to share a jalapeño egg muffin on a day it wasn't on the menu and I'm so appreciative. It was absolutely delicious. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again.

Super friendly and helpful staff when I checked in. Free breakfast was decent. Eggs. Cereal. Fruit. Pastry. Lime water or ice water in the lobby. I have 2 gripes. 1). I was there for 4 nights and got no housekeeping. Apparently you are supposed to get housekeeping every other day but they forgot me. So I had to empty my own trash and had to go fetch more toilet paper on my own 2). The refrigerator was way to cold and froze all my food. No option to change the settings. Only option was a button that turned the fridge off for 8 hours.

    OUTSTANDING......ABT ELECTRONICS My 92-year-old mother's TV…read morewas no longer working. My mother is severely disabled and cannot leave the house unassisted. I called ABT and spoke with Lou (his direct # 847-954-4140). I did some research before I called and liked the Samsung 55." 4K NEO QLED, originally $1,297.99, on sale for $897.99. Lou stated, "They had a sale starting tomorrow (Saturday) and that he could sell it to me for $651.00." Great! Lou said he could have it delivered next Tuesday. I explained my mother's situation and asked if it could be delivered tomorrow, on Saturday. Lou said, "I'll make it happen." Now that is exceptional customer service! Josh Hoffman was the technician who delivered and set up my mother's new Samsung TV. Josh programmed the Xfinity remote to the new TV, and my mother accidentally hit something that made the TV verbally announce everything she did. Josh asked if she wanted that, and my mother said no. Josh was quick-witted and a comedian; he had my mother laughing. You certainly can tell when an employee loves their job! I've been in my house long enough to replace the appliances I bought previously. Since most places that used to sell appliances no longer exist, I feel Abt is the lesser of the evils, better selection and employee knowledge than the big box stores. I don't usual have a positive shopping experience at Abt. I'm mostly ignored and always have to ask someone to help me. I only go to Abt when I need to purchase something so it's ridiculous no one approaches me. Luckily my most recent visit was a positive one. I had to buy a new dryer and didn't know which one to buy. Rodolfo Alvarez was the sales rep that APPROACHED me. Rodolfo was kind and a great listener, I told him what was important to me and he showed me my options. He helped me settle on a LG dryer that I wasn't expecting to choose, but based on what was important to me, fit my requirements the best. Another couple was listening in and based on what he said, I think they decided to go with the same one. I felt bad he couldn't help us both since he should have gotten credit for the other sale as well. I told Rodolfo next time I need something at Abt, I'm calling him. Five stars for Rodolfo! I knocked off a star due to all of my previous unpleasant experiences at Abt.

The terminals are big and can involve a fair amount of walking, especially if you're making a connection, but signage is generally clear enough to get where you need to go. Security lines can fluctuate quite a bit depending on timing, but they're usually manageable given the size of the airport. Staff across airlines and gates tend to be professional and helpful, especially when disruptions happen, and communication is generally consistent when delays come up. One area that feels a bit underwhelming is the dining. For an airport this large, the food options feel somewhat limited, and prices are noticeably high--even by airport standards. It's not always easy to find something that feels like good value or particularly appealing if you're stuck for a longer layover. Getting in and out of the airport is straightforward with the CTA Blue Line, rideshares, taxis, and rental cars all easily accessible. Overall, it's a very functional, busy airport that gets you where you need to go, but the food and overall passenger comfort experience don't quite match the scale of the place.
