I knew I'd like the vibe just from that interaction. She went ahead and signed me up for a free class Monday to try it out. I took the Monday barre class with Jordin and it was great - def a butt kicker haha but that's what I need. The studio is warm and inviting and the classes aren't too big, it's such a comfortable environment. I signed up for a fresh start pass and hope to try out all the classes and see which ones I like best!

The instructors here are exceptional! They really listen and take the time to understand your individual needs, offering modifications to ensure that each class meets you where you are, both mentally and physically. The variety of classes keeps things fresh and exciting, making working out something to look forward to! Each session is challenging, but there's always the option to tailor it to your level, so I feel challenged but never overwhelmed. The positive, supportive energy in the studio is contagious. The kindness and encouragement I receive from both the instructors and fellow members motivate me to push myself and strive to be the best and most powerful version of myself. We decided to make a staycation out of it by booking a room and enjoying the bar and restaurants. NO REGRETS! If every San Antonian knew about this place, nobody out of town would ever get in! Our experience began with the greeting from the front desk clerk desk attendant, Jacob. He was awesome! Super attentive to our needs, friendly, and personable. At the spa, Our massage therapists were top rate! Roxi and Sera were very responsive to our aches and pains. We came in wound up and left ready to relax. Back at the hotel, the bar tenders are definitely skilled mixologists. Eric makes a mean Manhattan, his specialty is an old fashioned, but I saw everyone enjoying all the other drinks he made as well! Antlers Lodge is something special! The chef, Joseph Lambert, and his staff at the restaurant are masters of their craft! So humble but so masterful. The food was as top flight as any restaurant we have had in at the best New York restaurants or abroad... and this place truly represents San Antonio at its elevated best.

If you're the type to laze by a river, and you've already got a room here, absolutely check it out, BUT dont spend 75/piece to tan here. If youre not taking kids don't do it! You do not get access to where you can actually swim, nothing gets deeper than 3 feet. You do not get access to the new "lagoon" area. There are no changing rooms, and only 2 restrooms for all the people there. If you dont want to trek your wet self through the lobby to your car, you'll be changing in 1 of the restroom stalls. If you are taking kids, trust me.....get the sea world passes and a meal pass, the cost is the same and everyone will have a lot more fun!!!

There is also a great Lego store, Barnes and Noble, and plenty of good food choices. The worst part of La Cantera is that half of the people who go here seem like they are on their first week on Earth and do not know what they are doing. I love people who walk four in a row and block entire walkways, or people who stop randomly in the middle of the path to look at something. You make my life so miserable. Parking is also pretty insane if you are trying to park up close, but if you have patience, anything is possible. Be careful of the reckless drivers who have no courtesy for anything but themselves. The layout of the mall is pretty nice. Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom Rack have some higher price tag shops surrounding them, while Dillard's and Macy's have more affordable stores nearby. Across the street from the main hub is additional shopping with Zara, J.Crew, J.Jill, Free People, H&M, and most of the dining options, including Perry's, Grimaldi's, Yard House, Palenque Grill, Cheesecake Factory, and more. When the weather is nice and it is not scorching hot, The Shops are a great place to visit in San Antonio. Even when it is hot, there is plenty of shade and air conditioning to help make it less miserable. RIYL: Shopping around some of the most unaware people to ever exist.

Parking was limited due to the valet parking lot. The restroom near Build-a-Bear smelled like a landfill. Management/Owners put more energy in a valet parking lot than the restroom. This place has stores for all shoppers (luxury end and budget friendly).
