This Tesla Supercharger is super convenient, right off the freeway. You can walk to a McDonald's, a CVS, and a small strip mall area. I got there early, so not everything was open went to McDonalds for restroom. Afterwards went for a walk it's a nice place to stretch your legs. Just a heads up, it gets busy fast. By the time I was leaving, all the spots were full. Overall, it's a great, well-located charging stop. read more

Was located on the roof level of a public parking structure that I accidentally drove past by. A good amount of chargers with only one out of order. All of them are shaded in the structure except two chargers. Went here on a Friday morning and they were almost all full. Decent charge time. Prime location in Santa Barbara though and off the 101 freeway! read more

Heading north on a road trip along the 101 freeway usually will involve a stop here. Currently, this station had one of the cheaper kW rates in the area. It's located in the Five Points shopping center, so there's several options of shops and stores to pass the time while the car finishes charging. I usually will get a cup of coffee and use the restroom over at the Starbucks. read more

I have only had my Tesla for 6 months so with long drives, one has to rely on reviews and this station on State street is a good stop - close to Smart and Final, Sbux, Blaze Pizza, etc. and this is a better stop instead of the one in Montecito. The state Street one has 16 250kw chargers and about half of that for Montecito location and believe they run 72-150kw and hard to find (inside hotel Parking lot) . I ended up leaving for wait will be so long and charging is not Fast compared to 250kw superchargers. read more

I like this spot because it has a nice view if you want to sit in the car while you charge. There are usually spots open--I've never had to wait. Plus it's at a shopping center so you can run some errands while your car charges. Never had any problems here. read more

Congratulations Santa Barbara! We finally received our VERY OWN Tesla Supercharger! While we have had one in Goleta for some time, and a month ago got one in Montecito at the Rosewood Miramar Resort, this is located perfectly along the 101 at the State Street and Highway 154 exit. For those people going to/from wine country with Los Olivos, Santa Ynez or Solvang, it is a perfect location. There are plenty of chargers (16 total) with up to the maximum of 250 kW. There are several businesses nearby since it is within the Five Points Shopping Mall parking lot: McDonalds, CVS Pharmacy, Big 5 Sporting Goods, Starbucks, Subway, Blaze Pizza, Luna Grill, T-Mobile, Blenders in the Grass, and Ross Dress for Less. Very pleased to have this new Supercharger in town. read more

Sooo happy this Supercharger finally opened! It's located between downtown Santa Barbara and Goleta close to the 154. There are 16 chargers here that charge up to 250 kW. Lots to do around here. Fantastic new TESLA supercharger near Hwy 101 and right next to Mandarin Palace, Big 5, Ross, Starbucks, Saigon Vietnamese Restaurant, La Salsa, Subway Sandwich, Luna Grill in Five Points Shopping Center has more than twelve fast charging stations with only one out of service. It's not too busy and several restaurants make it a very convenient place to charge for an hour for 200 miles while eating a nice dinner. It will get you back up to speed to go to the next destination. We were coming down to Orange County. The HWY was quite congested around Santa Barbara due to the ever present worst Hwy 101 construction work in progress in most of the Hwy system in California. read more

Quick charging station off the 101 fwy! Max wait time was only 5-10 minutes. There's a couple of Starbucks nearby and a Bristol Farms in the next plaza over where Macy's is located. The Starbucks near Bristol Farms isn't exactly walkable but the one in the same plaza as the charging station is a quick stroll. It's located three stores down after Smart and Final. There's also a CVS if you're in the mood for snacks, drinks, or toiletries. read more
