Our go-to supercharger on our way to and from Vegas. I enjoy taking the back road to and from there from the 15. On our way to Vegas, we'll always do two charges, at Barstow and at Primm. This way we when we get to Vegas, we still have plenty of charge to explore the city. Sometimes enough to even charge back at Primm on our way back without having to find a charger in Vegas. Brand new supercharger site in Barstow with lots of new ones and shade from solar cells. Barstow is a very convenient stop along the way to/from Las Vegas. Great to have the Tanger Outlets nearly for shopping and restroom although no food establishments that are conveniently walkable, especially in the summer heat. read more

Lots of spaces. Clean area that is right by the outlets. There are clean restrooms (at the outlets) very close. You have to walk through the outlets and across a bridge to get to any food options. read more

My favorite Tesla Supercharger to charge on the way to Las Vegas is this Tanger location, walking distance from the outlet. I also prefer this Tesla Supercharger location when driving back home to the SFV. This Tesla Supercharger at Tanger never gets full. The several times we've stopped here to charge, all the stalls were working properly and we didn't get any notifications of a broken stall. Plenty of charging stalls available for usage. The charging stalls are fully covered under a roof so it's shaded. I've also noticed how the charging time at this location seems to be faster than other Tesla Supercharger stations. read more

The Tesla Supercharger here has plenty of stalls and features solar panel shades for added convenience. Restrooms are available, and the outlet mall directly across from the chargers offers lots of shopping options. During my visit, about 8 stalls were out of order, but with 70 total, there were still more than enough. The area is also clean and well-maintained. read more

There's also an outlet with many shops next door. Definitely a reliable charging stop because it has so many stations and all very fast charging. read more

If I had known there were 30 destination chargers here I would have parked here overnight. The 60 fast chargers are all 250s. There is even an air pump by the north end of the lot. read more

Great charging option! Dozens of stalls ready to go. I think we were charging on average of 95kw which isn't amazing but better than the one around the corner. The downside is there is NOT a bathroom after 7pm which is a total bummer. We walked in the janky hotel next door who told us "No restrooms for non hotel guests." I get it but we had to make another stop to go to the bathroom. read more

There is a line in the original Star Wars movie, "That's no moon. It's a space station." as Obi Wan gazed out with apprehensive surprise on his face as the Death Star came into view. I was reminded of this as we came around the bend and saw the Superchargers outside the outlets in Barstow. 70 charging spots were arrayed before us. An amazing site. We plugged in and were rewarded with 259 kW and 1049 mi/hr. Amazing! The other great thing about this huge charging location is the proximity to the bathrooms at the outlets which were also spotless. These chargers are located at the Outlets at Barstow behind the South 300 stores. You can enter from either North or South of the Hampton Inn and go all the way to the back towards the freeway. Parking here is free. If you're going to supercharge in Barstow, this is the place for me. This is better than Eddie world, unless you're really looking for some food and snacks. There are 70 V3 Superchargers that cap out at 250 kWh. These do not have the magic dock so NACS charging only. If you're going to be shopping at the Outlets, there are an additional free 30 Tesla destination chargers providing up to 11.5k kWh (subjected to your model's charge limit). The charging station and parking striping is a bit off so I recommend parking as close to the right side as possible so the cord will reach your car. There are solarpanel roofs over all the charging spots so you won't be sitting in the sun. There are also trashcans and the restrooms are across the small 2 lane street that belong to the outlets. read more

Did you know? This charger is 0.01 cheaper per KWH than the other Barstow location? (0.38) This supercharger cannot be found at times on your Tesla screen? Only half of the chargers work and half does not work? The Level 2 chargers does not work, period as of 6/30/23 Charging here is not a true 150KW, was getting 60-80 on shared charging. There are trash cans here. Spaces are covered, definitely a plus in the summer heat. Nothing really close nearby, the outlets is a 5 minute walk. read more

This is one of the newer superchargers. They move the one in Barstow and this is the new location. It is not as fast as listed on the map. It's a very far walk to any restrooms or services. Kind of disappointing. The old location in Barstow was much better. read more

Best experience at a Tesla supercharging station. I have a non Tesla car, so finding bays where you can drive in easily is usually not easy. Here it is!! Handicap stalls, and stalls where the charger is mounted sideways are a def plus!! There are restrooms adjacent to the covered charging areas. I have never seen so many super chargers! It looks like they're adding another 25 to 30 chargers and they have level two available. Great place to stop and shop bathrooms are very close right inside the doors. read more
