My daughter brought her new engagement ring and wedding band here to be resized and they have essentially ruined her wedding band. They lost 2 stones out of it and did not fix it. I'm not sure if they burned it or what happened but the ring isn't even the same color anymore. It is .925 silver and now it looks tarnished, is scratched up, and a third stone fell out with a day of picking it up. read more

This was the absolutely worst experience I have EVER had with a business in Cheyenne. I received a beautiful ring for my birthday that I ended up having to get cut off my finger. When I went to Teton, the owner was confident he could resize it without losing any diamonds, and it would look like new. He said if any did fall out, he would simply place them back in. I felt really good about it when I left. When I picked up the ring, it looked ok in the store's lighting, but when I got home, there were diamonds completely MISSING and he said nothing about it. There was also a cracked baguette he didn't mention, in addition to a baguette diamond he set completely vertically. Additionally, he said he rhodium plated the ring, which we paid for, and another local jeweler confirmed it had not been plated and confirmed the missing diamonds. When my husband took the ring back, the owner was dismissive but acted like he didn't know about the missing diamonds and didn't even acknowledge he hadn't plated the ring. He said he would fix it like new. My husband came in weekly for over a month to check on progress, and kept being told they were waiting on rhodium to arrive. Each time a date was given, and we heard nothing. Finally, my husband was able to pick up the ring this week. It looks absolutely terrible. There is spotting all over the metal, it is not sized correctly, and the diamonds are not even. I am also not sure how diamonds disappeared and then re-appeared. Overall, we are weighing our options to get the ring replaced. Do not trust Teton with your jewelry! If we had not looked hard enough we might not have taken this in for a second opinion. A total waste of money. We might have been able to get it fixed by another jeweler, but we tried to support local and the reviews were good. Now, we feel it is beyond repair without spending hundreds of dollars. read more

I recently needed to have a wedding set joined together. I went to a well known jeweler on Dell Range. I was told about the flaws in my diamond and felt that it was a chunk of coal with some sparkle. (I had bought the set at another jewelers). I was then given a quote. I went to Teton Jewelers and was quoted almost half of the first quote. When I picked up the rings, I was completely ecstatic with how they looked and the quality of the work done. I also inquired about having another ring repaired and was shocked at the very low quote. I am extremely impressed with the work done on my rings! Not only did they clarify what needed to be done on my one ring, they did it in a lot less time and a extremely reasonable price! I had pulled my ring from being serviced by another well known jeweler after they not only quoted me twice as much as Teton, but then called saying that the seats on my ring had to be completely rebuilt and wanted to charge me over $600 to do so. Teton and a Colorado jeweler both refuked that claim entirely. So not only did I get great service on that ring from Teton, they also serviced my wedding ring and resized it for me! I had wanted a Grandmother's ring that would hold eleven stones. I had a Mother's ring with eight (but not the stones needed for Grandchildren's birth months) I sent it to Teton Jewelers in Cheyenne (clear across the state) and communicated via Facebook . Also had a couple of bracelets that were favorites of mine but broken so sent them as well, I just received all items...The ring is BEAUTIFUL ( above my expectations), as are both bracelets. When my grandmother passed away in 1996, she left me a silver ring w/ a beautiful green turquoise stone. It is "my inheritance" so imagine my sadness when I noticed a hair line slice down the back middle of the silver band. I took it off and vowed that I would find get it fixed by a quality jeweler who was familiar with this kind of jewelry. My grandmother lived in Cheyenne, Wyoming and my aunts still reside there. My mother visits often and when I told her about the ring she said she would take it back with her and take it to Teton Jewelers because she has had a lot of jewelry repaired there. Well guess what? I forgot to give it to her when she went in May. But never fear, I went back that way to visit la familia in July and took the ring with me. I walked into Teton on Monday morning and came back at 4pm for it. It looked like nothing had ever happened to it. Excellent job and quality craftsmanship. Great customer service too.
