DO NOT COME HERE AND USE TINA. SHE IS HORRIBLE. Acted like she had never done a pedicure. She didn't get the water hot enough and had to have the girl show he how to make it hot, still was barely luke warm. Didn't know how to make the water bubbly or what to put in to make bubbles either. She did not know which product to use or when to use it. Girl next to her had to literally show her EVERY TIME. Did not cut down nails evenly, rounded some and squared some. Even when told they needed to be rounded she still managed to keep them square. I told her the were extremely dry and thick skin spots and she grated them half-assed. She didn't even know how to put the damn foam flip flops. My sandals were left wet from when she was rinsing my legs off and instead of drying them, she merely handed them to me. Not happy at all. I started coming here a few months ago and I'm pretty pleased with this nail salon. I haven't gone anywhere else since. Prices are better than other salons. My only complaint would be the ladies doing your nails talk so much amongst each other. It becomes kind of annoying, especially not understanding anything that is being said. This is by far a complete waste of money. I have been getting my nails done for 21 years now and this is easily the top three worst jobs I have ever had done. The shape was not what I asked for. He nicked almost every one of my cuticles and made me bleed. All of the gel polish either hung over the edges on some nails or didn't even come to the edges on others. He used his duster brush to clean off the top of my nails after the second coat of color but before the topcoat resulting in dust underneath my topcoat and little red pieces of fuzz. He also did not thoroughly remove my previous red polish so there are spots where you can still see dots of red underneath the pink. read more

I went in for a set of nails with the colors nude and pastel pink , came out with pink and dark pink , my nails were super bulky , thick and some shorter than the others. I could not even walk to my car when I went back inside and asked for them to take them off and my money back , they said no that I had to pay for another service for take off and another set. Walked in there at 5pm and came out at 7:50pm for a horrible job. They were extremely bad service and on top of that they seemed bothered for me not liking my nails a lady was yelling across the nail salon like crazy. I would not be coming here again. read more

By far the worst nail service I have received.... some of the staff are friendly and nice but doesn't know what there doing. My nail technician kept asking for help and didn't know how to apply the foil. It hasn't been 2 weeks old and my nails are already damaging and in bad condition. The foil is literally coming off itself and all the diamonds have came off as well .. My favorite nail tech here does not know how to do dip powder so, against my better judgement, I opted to allow someone else to do my nails. I sat there 3 hours because a lady ensured me that she could do a glitter ombré color, which I had done at another location before. Hence, it isn't a difficult color scheme. She and another lady asked what 2 colors I wanted to use and I selected them only for her NOT to be able to do what it was she said she could. Over exaggerating one's abilities is time consuming and aggravating. She couldn't get it right to save her life. So, another lady came to fix it. Long story short, I ended up with one color. Stayed there 3 hours because I got a 2nd full set since the original one was so thin. This is the closest salon to my house, I go here for the convenience not for the quality or anything else.... I could agree that $25 was decent for the basic job they did, But lately they've become so lazy! There could be 1 person waiting or 5 people waiting and their response when we checking in is always the same "it's gonna be a long wait" their prices are now higher and the only difference is a mediocre massage and orange peels lol very sad. They also refused to call me over the phone if we decided to stay fir the long wait. They have limited seating and I wanted to wait next door because all the seats were taken, all we were gonna do is grab a soda from next door and seat in the outdoor patio area and they said they wouldn't call me because they didn't do reservations. First of all that is not a reservation I am waiting outside, I'm guessing they wanted me to just stand there in the way the entire time I waited. Made no sense at all even the people waiting in the seating area were confused. Last time I go there for sure! read more

I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Save your money and go somewhere else. I come here all the time but this time is the last time. One of the ladies accidentally cut me on one of my toes. The cut wouldn't stop bleeding and I kept kindly asking for a bandage because I didn't want it to get infected. I told her I didn't want the toe with the cut painted and she kept saying "no it's ok" and trying to paint it. I told her no again and asked for a bandage, but again I was ignored. The lady never once apologized. When paying the manager didn't apologize either, just told me the total. I did not ask for any discount cause I know that was an accident but when I told the manager if I can come back once the cut is healed just to get it painted. He quickly dismissed me... all he said was "yea yea". After coming for few years now, they made me feel like they didn't care and they did not listen to any of my concerns. I feel like they aren't as smooth as they should be. Probably me being picky. Also, when she used the brush to clean my nails, a bristle attached to my nail. I tried explaining to her that a string was on my nail, but she kept coating my nail anyways. She buffed it out twice, but it was still there. I finally just said it was good. I'll live. I told her after seeing how the first coat came out that it didn't look right she insisted on putting more coats of polish as if that was going to resolve the problems. The interior is quite nice with a nice ambience to match , the technicians are friendly as well ( well kinda) , but they are not fast nor attentive to their guests . I waited literally 40 minutes to an hour before a technician sat me at the spa chair to just soak my feet ( mind u with no spa jets ). It's not their busiest day either . Came in for a pedicure and for wax, been coming here for a while now, a little over a year, but today the lady doing my eyebrows was in such a hurry, I told her that I just needed a clean up, she just said ok and continued, I don't know if someone was rushing her or if she was supposed to do something else, but she literally waxed off the arch of one of my eyebrows I got really upset to the point that one of the girls that witnessed it said that if she was me she would cry on how bad my eyebrows looked. Visited said establishment for the 2nd time for a full set and a pedicure. Jimmy performed my pedicure and was an absolute sweetheart! He did an amazing job and was very understanding that I had recently has ingrown toenail surgery on my big toe and took his time to trim around my surgery site. I will definitely be returning for m pedicures specifically with Jimmy! My full set however was done by Kay (K). Although he was a complete sweetheart, he lacks awareness of his own personal hygiene. He criticized my personal selection of acrylics that I had chosen and suggested I get my nails longer (obviously to charge me more money). I informed him that due to my field of work, I require short and natural looking nails. He completely disregarded my request and continued to give me long nails and became irritated whenever I asked him to shorten them because it was what I initially asked him for. I feel as if he intentionally cut me above my cuticles not once, not twice, but three times! He never apologized, he just shrugged his shoulders. Never again will I get my full set nails at Texan Nail Spa. I'll be calling ahead for Jimmy though. read more

Disgusting. Disgusting customer service, disgusting sanitary practices. I will be making a report to as high up as i can go. Cut my sister in 2 places very badly, wiped her blood with a tissue, and left her with a terrible manicure. Washes tools from pedicure in the same water i just soaked my feet in. My fill-in left my nails all different lengths so i asked the lady to re do them which she did, however the second time they were still messed up but i had to go, so i was told to return the next day. I returned and spoke to the manager who proceeded to scream in my face along with 3 other workers there. I was called a liar, and the manager even threatened me by saying she would check the cameras and prove i was lying. i was yelled at, i was denied any common decency or respect. The only person that was even remotely kind or did not raise her voice to me was Michelle. I am appalled that a business can remain running with such unprofessional behavior. Let's just say the staff is not friendly. The main guy there greeted us with a rude tone asking what we wanted and rushing us. I asked him a question and he also responded very rudely. They did a good job with pedicures, it's just that the staff makes you feel uncomfortable with their mad faces and rude service. I ended up getting my nails done too while I was there. The lady who did my nails was so rough on my fingers. They are still hurting right now. They also seem to not take suggestions lightly and kind of just want to do your nails their way. I've been to better places where the staff is so nice and ready to work. Better prices too! read more
