    Wouldn't recommend no one get a car from here . For starters the people our unprofessional and racist. i purchased a car may 30th by December my transmission was blown when I first took my car in in AUG 29th I told the service lady that it was my transmission because my car was stuck in gear she insisted that it wasn't that they would run test and get the problem fixed they had my car for a few days to fix the gear shift switch that cost me 400 dollars added to my note I got the car back on Thursday parked it went out running earnings Friday Sept 6th it was even worst wouldn't come out of gear wouldn't even move crystal insured me that it would be fix no charge to me that took about two weeks it was a quote on quote electrical problem got the car back again had it for a bout a month and it started saying my doors were unlocked while driving causing my car to jerk my check engine light had came on reached back out too have my car looked at took it in November 29th they fixed all this other stuff it was covered under warranty so it was 250 added on got the car back Dec 16th it drove good for 10 days when it finally made a loud noise started shaking nd just cut off in the middle of the highway had it towed back to Texas auto with the poorest communication I had to call and verify they had the car then once I expressed my frustration with the service lady she told me to speak with Danny in finance about options she transferred me I set on hold 30 mins left a voicemail no response a week pass the service department reached out to inform me that it was my transmission which is covered in my warranty nd will be added to my account in 2025 did I want them to fix it i expressed my irritation again she then transferred me to danny no response she even emailed him I call again to speak with Danny no response finally I get ahold to him very passive doesn't care I express my irritation tell him I don't want the car he say let him look into it because I was correct the car has been in service to many times so there will be options he will get with service give him a few days he'll call me that was a Friday i heard nothing back till I called him Thursday and when I talked to him he was confused nd i reminded him of what he said he and that I no longer wanted the car he then went to say thanks for reminding me give me a second I'll call you right back . He calls back and says that I had two options one the transmission could be fixed on them or two pay 1000 down for another car which made no sense y should I have to pay for another car because I was sold a bad one so I agree on the fix that took 3weeks no communication at all I finally called to see if my car was ready in fact it wasn't crystal said by that Thursday it will be ready 1/21 car is ready for pick up with a balance I'm confused because they want me to pay for a car I had for 11days out of 31 then pay a full 700+ in 9 days because my note will be due again that pissed me off so im calling to talk to Danny he's not there I get another man that barely spoke English that kept telling me the service and finance dept where to different things which I know I ask to speak with some one else he placed me on a 45min hold nd then the phone hung up .. I called back and got Sebastian he was more understanding but wasn't helpful so I let them have they car back ... communication is key accountability is key giving people good quality service and cars should be key but not here it's all about money.

    They illegally repod a vehicle, twice - during the last time the goons they hired assaulted me an broke a tooth , held a screwdriver to my throat and threatened to stab me - they stolen my property the first time and have violated Texas state law and their own contract. They sold a car that didn't work - I've had to sink thousands to keep it running and they continue to break the law and hire thugs to assault you

What was wrong on day one: Service lights were already illuminated when the car drove off the lot (they keep deleting my photos here). Brake fluid and engine oil both overdue for service. The tailgate was also inoperable. CarMax advertises a rigorous 125-point inspection on every vehicle. Well their service department must be blind. Dash lit up like a Christmas tree. Also, severe water spots on the hood. What was discovered within three weeks (warranty period) -Active coolant leak with pressurized spray visible under the hood -Water intrusion inside the cabin. both front and rear -Rough idle -Leaking washer fluid pump. How CarMax handled it: When the first issues were brought to their attention, they made no effort to acknowledge them or schedule a service appointment. It was brought to their attention 3 times at the time of sale. For the rest of the issues, Saturday was my last opportunity. Turns out service is closed on weekends and I found out the hard way. I was directed to use the app by an employee who answered the phone, but the app has no scheduling feature. Only a phone number that routes back to a closed service department. My warranty expired while I was following CarMax's own instructions. They did not honor my attempt to schedule a service appointment. Warranty expired and I was told to kick rocks. I spoke with another floor manager to wait 2 weeks for some other manager. I refused to wait. I spoke with the general manager who said kick rocks. I spoke with the inventory guy - who said kick rocks. I am completely baffled as to why their warranty is 30 consecutive days vs business days. Why is it possible for a warranty to lapse on a weekend when you can't do shit about it? I was told to "leave a voicemail" next time. I spoke to a human. Why is that not enough?! I have the call logs. Why - did they not schedule an appointment? I don't understand how this is allowed as it is clearly a deceptive practice. CarMax inspects their vehicles like Boeing "inspects" their planes. We all know how that went. These guys make money laundering car dealerships look like saints. They actively and knowingly did not inspect the vehicle and made every attempt to NOT schedule service and took no accountability for it. Look at the other reviews here and complaints with the BBB if you think I'm overreacting. And just to add insult to injury, they sold my data to data brokers for which I am now receiving an onslaught of spam regarding my vehicle's warranty.

    These guys sold me a car on a Saturday and less than 4 days later it breaks down. The guy who…read morehelped me with the car promised if there was ever an issue to bring the car back and that they would fix it. I dropped the car off and true to his word they fixed it. They told me it would be done by noon and I didn't get a call until 4pm. He tells me I have to pay for the part before I can take the car home. Problem with that is the part was messed up before selling it to me and wasn't discovered until I got home. I told him that it wasn't good business to promise to fix the car on them, just to turn around and charge me before I can take the car I just got. Then the "manager" comes arguing with me because I signed the contract. And as is was displayed before I signed. I told him legally he isn't allowed to sell a lemon to me. He responds you shouldn't have signed and we have a no refund clause so it's final. If I dont pay he would take the part back out and tow my car to my house like that. Funny thing is, to tow to my house would cost more than the part. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. They are full of lies and the guy who sold to me keeps telling me 1 thing and the "manager" is telling me another. I'm gonna go back up there tomorrow and talk to the owner. This is horrible customer service!! Camera back the next day and was told yesterday's offer was no longer on the table. They were giving free labor now they are adding labor cost to the part that was broke. Smh you can't make this stuff up

We make a appointment for Saturday morning. We arrived at the dealership and the first thing out of the salesman mouth was we don't have the car we were trying to make a deal on! (BATE AND SWITCH) He does insure us that they will give us the same deal and price as the other Santa Fe, all is well then I figured. In the middle of putting the deal together Shawn states he needs to go fill up a car with gas but Steve the manager will help us. As soon as Shawn walks out the door Steve came over with paperwork and there is a total price difference of $3700. Steve states this is the one closest in price but the discount is not as much on this one. At this time I point out to Steve about me trying to get numbers the night before and what had been discussed. Steve says we'll I wasn't part of that conversation and this is the best we can do. I ask to talk to the other people (Shawn, Rudy) Steve say no, you are not talking to them! I ask to speak with Steve's manager and he tells me to make an appointment! I asked again to honor the deal we put together and he tells me they sell 240 cars a month and won't honor anything! Very dishonest sales people and management!     I am writing this review to warn other owners about the service leadership at South Point Hyundai…read more I own a 2016 Genesis , a luxury vehicle that supposedly comes with a higher standard of service. My panoramic sunroof failed--a known defect that is the subject of Hyundai TSB 19-BD-007H and a class-action settlement. This isn't just a cosmetic issue; it is a safety hazard. Neighboring dealerships have reported these sunroofs literally flying off vehicles in traffic. The Service Failure: I dropped my car off on a Wednesday and heard nothing for days. I had to chase them down for updates. While my Service Advisor, Drew Delgado, was personally helpful when I could actually reach him, the dealership's communication process is broken. The Management Failure: I applied for "Goodwill Assistance" because, although I am outside the mileage for the extended warranty, this is a known manufacturing defect. Corporate denied me using circular logic (denying "Goodwill" because it's "out of warranty"--which is the whole point of Goodwill). If you drive a Genesis, do not expect luxury service here. They will hide behind corporate scripts and ignore you when things get difficult.
