Make sure to run a diagnostic before buying. Make sure to have a clear understanding of the pricing difference between full coverage and liability. They charge an extra 60 dollars per car payment if you don't have . Also I was giving plates on the vehicle that did not match my vehicle. When trying to get a hold of somebody I have been ignored and the only reason I'm having somebody reach out to me is because I have sent probably over 10 messages. They seem great whenever you are in person, but this place is pretty shady. I do not recommend. I bought a 2016 Hyundai Sonata from this place last month. after 2 days the car broke down and I need to replace the coil. I called the sales person Gaspar and he told me to bring in the car so they can fix it,when I got there he told me that he will call to the mechanic since they didn't have the mechanic on site. When I went ti buy the car he told me that they check the cars before they put them up for sale. The day I picked up the car it had a flat tire he said he put air in it,but the car had a one inch nail in it,I open the trunk the next day and I couldn't close it again because the motor that open the trunk was broken. The next day the other coil went out,then the check the oil light turn on,I check the oil and it didn't have a drop of oil in the engine. Then the mass sensor went out,so do they really check the cars before they put them up for sale? Everything that came out of the salesman mouth was nothing but lies,they don't care about the customers. I sold cars for 35 years and I never treated customer in such a way. Unfortunately i got really sick and I had to buy from this dishonest people. Per state law they have 10 days to release the lien and as of today, which is 49 days later, they still cannot produce my title. DO NOT BUY HERE!!!! I had BY FAR the WORST customer experience yesterday at the Georgetown used car lot. I went to Long Motors on the recommendation of a friend who is friends with the owner. The lady that met us outside was SO RUDE and acted like she did not have time for us. We came to see a specific car and were told over the phone that the down payment of $2000 would cover that specific car. When we got to the lot, the rude lady told us it would be $2500 and that she could do nothing about it even after we explained that we were told it was lower. So I asked her about a different vehicle I was also looking at. She said $4000 down payment. Not a penny less. I asked her to show me a list then of what we could get and she showed me a couple of TERRIBLE options; never asking ONCE what we were looking for or our buying motivators. She just kept answering her cell phone and ignoring us. So we finally decide to leave, and while walking out, we met a woman who just bought the exact same make and model vehicle with comparable mileage that I asked earlier about which was said to have a $4000 down payment. I asked her what her down payment was and she said $2500! The staff are liars and the owner should be ashamed of their decision to employ such mean individuals. I saw an ad on CL for a car with the sales price of $2000 which looked like a really good deal, so I talked to a sales guy that day and went to see the car the next day. I spent about 2 hrs checking it out and driving it, and it seemed to be a nice car. The ad said that there was a one year warranty on the engine, tranny, and AC which was one of the things that interested me, but right before I went to see it, the salesman told me that the warranty was not offered on this car and the offer was a mistake in the ad. I went to see the car anyway, thinking that I might be able to negotiate at least a shorter warranty if the car was interesting, but when I was waiting to negotiate with the service manger, the sales guy showed me that the price of the car was around $12,000 and that the $2000 price was only the down payment...which was never,ever stated in the ad.It only stated in the ad that financing was available!!! (for the sales price of $2000, right?) Needless to say, I told them that was highly deceptive and I walked out and wrote this to share. While I had no problem taking a car off their lot, I've since been late on all my payments due to their incompetent financial department. Though I have always had funds in my account to cover each payment ON TIME and though they have had my card on file and assured my payments would be made by them on time. I have received multiple emails (that are automated by them) that stated my account is past due. After tiring of these emails and late payments due to their lack of due diligence, I decided to give them my bank info (voided check) as requested by one of their agents, so to make payments easier. The following week... another late payment email. I called again - "the system must have kicked you off for some reason. Let me put you back on and verify your account info again." This was verified and I was "placed back on auto pay." The following two weeks, another late payment email. When bring my frustration to their attention I was met with, we don't have any bank info on file, nor do we have any notes that you called and spoke with anyone. I will refinance with my bank as soon as I can and never buy a car from this company again. read more

If you want great customer service dont go there. Georgetown had great customer service however once you sign the dotted line and you have to deal with Austin location to make payments customer service goes out the door. I needed to change my payment date they wont do it, but want to charge late fees when they are getting paid consistently the same date every month. The payment online doesn't work so they get to charge for taking payments. I would not suggest getting a car there. They are rude and shady and treat people like they don't need your money. I purchased a 1 owner Lexus RX 330 from here. The interior and exterior were super clean. Over the past 2 years that I have had this vehicle I haven't needed any major repairs. Know that they will come pick it up if you don't make your payment and communicate with them on the situation. I have been through this with them. They have picked my truck up (As this usually happens when you don't pay your note) and I have went and got it back both times!!! Yes twice... However, they did work with me so that I could get my vehicle back. .. But on the other hand I have also had a medical situation that kept me from being able to make a payment or 2 and they worked with me on that as well. Overall, buying a car from a used lot is tricky and the bottom line is that I got lucky on this deal. Are there some areas that they could improve in? Surely there are. I purchased an 18 year old, 1 owner Lexus with low (81k) miles from this dealer back in June. After test driving it, I notified the salesperson the car needed tires and an alignment. In our negotiations, we agreed part of the sale required an alignment and tires. I left the car overnight, and was advised the next day the alignment had been done and they were waiting on tires. This work should be done by the end of the day. When I showed up, the tires still had not been replaced and I asked what kind of tires they would be buying. I was advised they were purchasing just the 2 front tires, and they were going to cost about $15 each. At this point I decided it wasn't worth the wait for crappy new or used tires and drove the car home. On the way home, the left front tire went mostly flat and the right front developed a bubble. Also, the steering wheel was no longer straight when driving, which indicated the alignment was worse than when I initially drove the car! I took the car to buy new tires, and was brought into the shop when they removed the old tires. None of the tires were good! They were all cheap knock-offs, or retreads. They also showed signs of irregular wear either from them being cheap, or the alignment. While replacing the tires, I replaced all 4 struts as I had noticed the car was riding low and and the left front tire rubbed when turning. I took the car to a reputable alignment shop, and found out the car was too far out to be adjusted back to spec. It was at this point I took it to the Lexus dealer. I was advised the car had been in a minor accident at some point. The power steering rack had been shifted in that accident, which wore out the tie rod ends. Also the lower knuckle on the left side had been replaced with the wrong part which was causing the alignment to be off. This also caused the left front tire to rub the inside of the wheel well at full lock in both directions. In the end, my $6200 purchase cost another $5000 to get back into spec. When I left Long Motors, I was willing to accept having to buy tires, and maybe even the struts. I refuse to settle for $15 tires. Yesterday I went to pick up the plates, and talked to the manager, describing the issues I had with the car. He said "You drove the car, you must have thought it was fine" I pointed out I had requested an alignment and tires. I also pointed out if the alignment had been done correctly, the accident damage would have been obvious. He shrugged. Having seen all of the negative reviews, this place is obviously bad. When I walked in the door to pick up my plates, I was immediately asked if I was there to make a payment. It looks like they are preying on people who have low/no credit, and selling crap to everyone. I was lucky that I had financing already set up, and I had the means to get the car fixed. To be honest, I could not imagine having to work with this dealership should I have been someone without prior financing and/or money to fix the issues. I definitely would not have trusted them to fix the problems. I am sure you are wondering why anyone would spend $5000 on a $6200 car. Although I am a bit upside down now because of these bills, the underlying vehicle is solid. The Lexus made during this time are extremely durable, and will last once they are back into good shape. I plan to keep this car for quite awhile. Please learn from everyone who has posted negative feedback! I would avoid this place at all costs. I used to make my payments over the phone with no fee.. ever since they added a fee to pay over the phone , I started making Money orders.. the one time I was told to put my money order in the drop box IT WAS NO WHERE TO BE FOUND! THEY HAD LOST IT!! The staff at the south location was very nice an understanding but after Being told I was gonna receive a call to see what can be done, I instead got a call (not from the south location) saying my car was gonna be repoed if I didn't go bring in ANOTHER money order to replace the one THEY LOST! DON'T BUY HERE! THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY!! I bought a 2008 Tundra with them one week after having it the breaks went bad. I told them about it they did nothing all they said is I had to pay for it. So I put $1,500 into break, break pads, rotors, ect... I thought that would be the only thing but no, one month later the shifting paddle that goes from parking to driving etc.. stoped working had to pay $200 to get it fixed. Then two month after that the timing belts started making a sound so I took it to Long motors b/c apparently it has motor guaranteed. Brenda the one at the shop told me "oh the timing belts aren't part of the motor but since they are so closed we will fix them" My truck was in the shop for a month and a half probably more and then when they finally finish fixing the timing belts something else came up. So they decided to give me another car. The other car they gave me had transmission problems. I asked for my down payment back at least and te manager Raul Martinez got all mad and called the cops on me to take me out of the store. Then two weeks later Raul Martinez called my husband telling him he was going to sue us and started to tell him off. I ended up loosing $7,000+ on that dealer didn't get a single penny back.
