internet buyer beware! I spend two days buying a car from Texas auto. Gave them a deposit ,filled out all the docs.Only to have them call me and tell me that they sold the car to someone else the next morning for more money and in cash!..I thought it was a done deal...another thing they do, is bait and switch with the prices! they add on 3000 to 7000 accessories.and don't tell until you ready to sigh.they added 3000 to my deal for key replacement in case you lose the key...cant believe they treat customers like this! I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN ! TYPICAL SHADY USED CAR DEALERSHIP...

I purchased a Cadillac here and opted for a 3rd party warranty to the tune of 4k that was totally sold incorrectly. I got the hi tech plan after talking with him and many many times was told "if anything goes wrong with this car over $200 this will cover it" because $200 was the per instance deductible. Well let me tell you lots of things have gone wrong with this car....and nothing is covered. Not even a rear coil spring. Get real. You can't get anyone to call you back. Straight up lied to when purchasing this car multiple times and should've walked. Dishonest nonsense. I learned from my mistake so you all don't have to. Avoid this place.

I just wanted to give a shout out to Brooke Cathey and Texas Auto South for the outstanding customer service they provided during the purchase of our 2016 Infinity Q50. They made the car buying experience a very pleasant one. They made us feel very comfortable with no pressure to purchase the car. I highly recommend this dealership and working with Brooke Cathey. She is sweet and very pleasant to work with and will go out of her way to accommodate you. Thanks Brooke and Texas Auto! Gina and Ray

all the paperwork. So now I have a car on the side of the road with a smoked transmission. I was told bring it in on Monday....sure but it doesn't drive. It's never had a state inspection, can't get a state inspection because it doesn't drive. If any real "manager" would like to call me my number is on file I'm sure, and my name is on this post. Beware!! Do not buy from them!!

A great car from a great company.

The mechanic, Willie, was rude and appeared frustrated, tried to pressure me about brakes I didn't request, and repeatedly called me approximately four times back-to-back, even texting me while I was still at the shop -- luckily, I keep unknown callers on silent. They put the wrong oil (5W20 instead of the required 0W20, which is stamped on my oil cap) into my car without asking. I immediately called my usual mechanic, who confirmed that using the wrong viscosity can damage my engine. The oil filter was changed at the same time, meaning it now contains the wrong oil and should be replaced again, but the shop refused to do so. To make matters worse, the owner (I assume) tried to grab my receipt and nervously laughed when I took a picture documenting the mistake. They even left my car running with the windows down after the error was "corrected," creating a safety risk. This shop is careless, disrespectful, and clearly assumes women customers don't know anything about their cars. Women are fully capable of reading manufacturer recommendations and recognizing when something isn't right. I will never return and strongly caution others. I now have to closely monitor my vehicle to ensure it was corrected properly. Willie claimed he was "trying to help," but disregarding manufacturer recommendations is completely unacceptable. For the safety of both your vehicle and your sanity, I strongly advise going somewhere else.

I obtained the thermostat and set up to do it one morning and I was able to take it off pretty easily but once I put it back on, it started leaking and wouldn't stop. I tried removing it again and re-tighten it, but didn't make it any better so I decided to have it towed to the shop after getting a recommendation of this place from a close friend of mine. Mike was the person I spoke with and once I had it towed there within an hour or so he called me and told me what the problem was. Apparently the thermostat housing being plastic I ended up cracking it because I tightened it too tight and they took care of the problem pretty quickly and within an hour or so they called me and told me my truck was ready. Once I arrived, Mike wasn't there, but the two techs that helped me were very thorough and explaining to what happened, they even showed me the piece that was broken. Lots of shops don't do this so immediately they became a place that I could trust in the future. I'll probably use them again instead of doing self repairs myself.

After the repair, the replacement compressor immediately started making a loud noise, and I had to bring my vehicle back. Just three days later, they had to replace the compressor again because of the noise. Before I dropped my vehicle off, there was no check engine light. When I picked it up, the check engine light was on. The shop told me it came on when they started the vehicle. After inspecting it myself, I found the intake sensor near the air filter housing had been left unplugged. I reconnected it myself, but the check engine light later came back with a P0113 code. I also discovered the air filter housing was cracked around the screw mounts, which was not damaged before the repair. Even after paying for the repair, they only fixed the front A/C. The rear A/C still blows hot air, so the problem I brought the vehicle in for was never fully resolved. Instead of leaving with a properly repaired vehicle, I ended up making multiple trips back to the shop, finding workmanship issues myself, and dealing with additional problems after the repair. This experience has cost me time, caused unnecessary stress, and left me with a vehicle that still isn't fully repaired. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop. Before leaving your vehicle anywhere, take photos beforehand and inspect everything carefully before driving away.
