I did not have the ability to give this business zero stars so I gave it a one. I believe the sales managers name was Albert. He was very rude and disrespectful. I have always promoted this Company and have never had anything negative to say about it until today. The fact is, customer service is everything and I will take my business elsewhere where they know how to speak to their customers and they don't disrespect them while trying to make up a deal. I just bought a 2016 Chrysler 300 on 11/19 and on 12/3 exactly 2 weeks after having the car my shifter assembly has ALL OF A SUDDEN malfunctioned. I'm not a mechanic but there are alot of little things I should have seen as a RED FLAG. 1. I was given a Dodge key for a Chrysler car. 2. My trunk interior was totally off, the excuse was " they were detailing it" come to find out they were trying to fix a rear shade that I didn't even know existed until I pushed a button and heard ALOT OF NOISES and a spring was popping out. 3. They didn't air up my tires I had to pull over and add air. 4. My rear camera after 5 days went black and fuzzy. 5. The warranty that i was sold covers nothing I have wrong with the car after I was reassured many times that this was a very good one. 6. I was sold the car with a bad battery. When problems were coming up it is very hard to get help from them. You will get blown off alot or told to stop calling were not going to fix anything IT PASSED OUR INSPECTION, if they read your review and it's a bad one they ask "CAN YOU REMOVE YOU POST IF WE PAY FOR ... AND PUT A POSITIVEPOST INSTEAD" but in my case I'm stuck paying to fix my car just enough so I can drive it and HAVENT EVEN MADE MY FIRST CAR PAYMENT. I was able to do some more research. They have had my car on the lot for about 1 year and couldn't tell me what features the car comes with or when was the oil changed, how much tread life do the tires come with, the car has remote start but they never knew because the key fob is for a Dodge not Chrysler and ONLY HAS LOCK UNLOCK. If you decide to by from here dont purchase their car protection plan you are better off buying your own protection plan it is WAY CHEAPER AND HAVE 100% BETTER COVERAGE. I purchased my vehicle from this place! This has been the worst experience by far with a dealer. I had to wait on a more than $812.67 refund that I was entitled to for over a month! I bought it and they ended up delivering the vehicle 2 weeks later as suppose it was in service, and I received it with really bad tires which I had to replace, oil leaking to the oil panel, and the bad battery had to be replaced. All this was shown in the inspection from Christian Brother just the day after I received the vehicle. They sent a check not even for the full amount of tires purchased and battery, and they even denied paying the installation and taxes. The oil leaking never was paid either. They should have covered the expenses as they sent the vehicle that way out of the dealer. Now, 5 months later I need to change both catalytic converters and switch which will cost more than $5,000. And when I call, multiple times, I get nothing but excuses! They even sent the contract missing document and they say it will take time to retrieve my contract because they can't pull it up. Beware of service- had my car worked on- they called and told me my brake was damaged and yellow already- expected me to pay for everything. You can see it was silver. Went home took it apart- seen hose was split...this was AFTER they tried to tell me my engine had a crack and try to sell me a new car- had to get a 3rd party to show there was no crack and it was a lie. Never give them your information to finance they ran my credit 9 times and didn't communicate with me at all. I never got a call from Edward, their finance manager, just an email giving me a crap interest rate and extended term. When I specifically requested a term and one finance company. Would never buy a car from here again, finance manager was rude and acting like I was inconveniencing him when he screwed up. When I called and confronted him about the credit inquires he denied doing it and said other people ran it. I told him I never gave them permission to run it through other companies. He said he would call me back and 3 months later no response. Avoid the finance department unless you want to ruin your credit and deal with incompetence. read more

We were driving from Austin to look at a car... the guy called several times (including an hour and a half before we would arrive) to make sure we were still coming but FAILED TO MENTION that he had DAMAGED THE CAR!!! His response when my husband said, "I wish you would have called to let me know" was "YOU WERE ALREADY ONLY AN HOUR AWAY" !!!! Seriously, an hour is a long time when you are traveling just to look at a car. We were ready to purchase that car and bring it home TODAY! I understand accidents happen but to not let us know and then to say something like... "oh we can see what we can maybe to do help you out to repair it"... I'm like seriously!? I've been looking at getting a new (used) car. And come to find out, Texas Auto Online has the model that I am looking for sitting on their lot. After haggling with the sales guy, I talk them down about $2k off their asking price. I feel good - everything checks out on the car and the sales dude says it's immaculate. So, I take a day off from work and hike all the way out there from Austin, TX. Get there and it was immediately clear to me that the car had been in an accident and was "repaired" very shabbily. Trim hanging off the driver side door. Rear bumper was super loose. Awesome. 3.5 drive there. I take it over to have the car inspected and sure enough, the auto exam guy says the same thing. He expands on that and says that there was a "severe oil leak on the car." Well holy crap. What the heck kind of operation is this selling cars with severe oil leaks? So, I go back to the dealership and tell the guy that I want my $500 deposit (they did refund) back and that I am not interested in this vehicle. Well, I had driven 3.5 hours to get there, so I figure I would sit down and see if they have anything else. He pulls up a listing for another car, same model, fewer miles, but base everything. He then takes my keys (to my car) and disappears for 30 minutes trying to get this new car out. Meanwhile, I wait at his desk, held prisoner in the auto dealership while rush hour in Houston comes creeping up. Finally they get the car out. It was more then I wanted to spend and they were going to give me half a handy on my trade-in. Far less than other dealerships were going to offer me. After humoring him and waiting around for another 45 minutes, I finally had the receptionist call him to get my keys back and then left. No thanks. This place sucks. read more

There is only one word for how my husband and I were treated here...ridiculous! As we walked in we were swarmed by circling vultures wanting to sale us a car. We were told to ask for Johnny Allen so we did. All of the other vultures were pissed! We sat down to talk and he was already telling us about a new Jeep he just got in and how much we needed it. This was to be my car...if we bought. Well, we go out to look at the Jeep and the seat will not move forward. My legs couldn't reach the pedal. Instead of showing us something different, he decided to drive us around in it. Not to mention the price was way to high. $16000 for a 2004 Jeep with 64,000 miles on it. When we got back to the dealership, he basically had all the paperwork ready for us to sign. We did not feel comfortable about this at all! We told him we needed some time to think and I thought he was going to throw something. We proceeded to leave as quickly as possible, but that was not the end. For the next several weeks...not days...he called everyday harassing us. Even when we told him we didn't want the Jeep, he still called. We told him to stop calling...period. I had purchased the American Best Car Care Plan punch card and used the card just a few times and today I was told they no longer redeem the card. This decision isn't honest and they could have at least told current card holders that they would "expire starting 2015" even though my card's term and agreements were to be expired on 2016. At the very least they could at least honor the card and cancel the sale of the cards if they had any reason they weren't happy with the deal. Day 1 of having no my car (same day I drove it off the lot) on my way home the sun went down and I had a head light out. Day 3 had a tire bust on the sidewall, doing 25 through my neighborhood thankfully. Day 5 the other front tire blew the side wall out as well. Buyer beware. I purchased a car from them. 2 hrs after driving off the lot, the car overheated and left me stranded. Texas Auto gave me the run around for three weeks. I left messages for the GM (Scott Hensley). He would not call me back. When I finally did get him on the phone, he advised me that the car was sold "as is". As a used car buyer, the consumer has no protection. Laws designed to protect the consumer like the lemon law or the three day rule which allows you to return anything within three days of the purchase, specifically excluded used cars as long as the car is sold "as is". So while Scott was correct legally, this response puts Texas Auto in the 1 star category. I told Scott thank you for ignoring all my to which he replied, "you're welcome". read more

I have mixed reviews about doing business with this dealership. The car sales department is awesome, she gave me a great value if I was to sell my car to them. She had extremely good customer service. I was debating about selling my car or trading it in. NOW, if you want to finance and do a trade in they are a MESS! The finance manager, Edward is extremely rude and needs to be fired. He's a snake who ran my credit over 11 times and that dropped my credit score by over 15 points. When I asked why he ran my credit that many times without my consent, he was like a deer in headlights. Guess he didn't think I knew he ran it that many times. But, I look at my credit daily. Then, when we were asking him questions about the banks, the deal, and the numbers he purposed to me- he said, " I've been doing this for over 20 years, I know how the banks work." I was already pre-approved by USAA and they didn't want to use that for whatever reason. BEWARE: I came to the lot and liked a vehicle. She gave me a price. I asked what is the lowest price you can give me on this vehicle. She told me this is the absolute lowest price, I cant drop it any lower. We are not making money on this car. Then, I show her the price that is advertised online which was $1250 less. She was like oh, I can honor that but that is the lowest price there is... I HATE thirsty used car salespersons. read more

Oh did I forget to mention that the price of my vehicle actually DROPPED 1K after I had already began the purchasing process... That was the icing on the cake for me. I heard a lot of great things about this location and found a Jeep online that I wanted to take a look at. I called to make sure it was still available and spoke to a lovely lady named KARLA! She is definitely someone that deserves a lot of praise because if not for her I would have easily left after arriving to test drive the Jeep I was interested in and told shortly after that it was already sold out of the North location. Obviously I was very frustrated after this but Karla wanted to do her best to find an alternative. Sure enough we found something else that was more equipped than the original I was looking at and got me a fair deal on it. There were several minor issues that needed addressing but their service center was closed by then so I came back a couple days later. The service department could use some communication improvement. I bring the Jeep by at 8:30 AM and was asked if I was going to leave it or wait. We agreed they'd quickly assess how long it would take and if it wouldn't be long I'd just wait or come back if it was. 3 hours later and asking 2 times between then if they had an idea I get told I'd need to leave it but it should be ready by the end of the day or first thing in the morning but they'd call me around 4 or 5 to verify. Never received a call. Called 8 am the next day and was told they'd call me right back to let me know. Hour passed and no word, so I call back again and get the exact same answer. They actually called me back a few minutes later this time and told me it'd be late morning /early afternoon. Time is money and these people were clearly wasting mine. It doesn't help that a couple things did not get addressed, thus I need to go back still. I could overlook so much if they just communicated with me about it so I can make proper arrangements. Overall I'd give this establishment 4 stars and only because Karla was a real MVP in making me feel like a valued customer, because honestly I could have gone anywhere else. I am flat out giving this place a 5 star review for a few reasons. When people say "Happy wife = happy life," that is no joke. My wife and I just celebrated our 15th anniversary. Two kids later that are pre-teens and no longer require the Mrs. to roll in a minivan somehow leave her with a fervent desire to own a BMW convertible (was her favorite car before she went all-out minivan mom squad). She works hard and has been a great mom but pretty much fell in love with this car on their website right before the big 15th anniversary. She also had expressed a desire to go to Vegas and have some variation of Elvis perform as we renewed our vows dressed in some questionable attire to the sounds of the Hawaiian Wedding Song. So...I felt that perhaps trying for the convertible might be preferable to a ton of pelvic thrusts alongside "Elvis" at the Chapel of Love. Aside from marrying her, that was one of my better decisions. The salesperson we spoke with was very helpful and happy to answer any questions I had thoroughly and also promptly. Sometimes a trade-in takes awhile, and she came in early to help complete paperwork so that I could make a work mtg and still have this ready for my wife. Fast forward a few days later. Brooke was a rock star at my pleas to place the Elvis dancing figurine thing on the dashboard and pull the car to the front of the dealership with a real big bow on it. Not only great customer service, but great value and vehicle quality. I don't see this level of customer care often these days so this definitely stood out to me. Also- wife was thrilled and I was happy seeing her happy. To be candid, I also was happy not to have to wear a lei and grind to Elvis tunes in the Chapel of Love and also to be able to buy Texans season tickets again. I would say Texas Auto is a win-win. I will definitely be going back there in 3 years, when our older daughter turns 16. Thinking station wagon for her. read more

I bought a 2011 Mercedes SLK from Tom "T-bone" Davis one year ago. Turns out this dealership sells as is so as soon as you leave the lot it is urs. Unknown to me there were a few things hidden on this car that unless u look w great detail u wouldnt notice. The fender well on drivers side was cut out allowing water in and the bumper had been patched several times from the inside. They did not disclose this and minor details. Shame on me. I recently asked ole T-bone to give me his lowest walk out the door price on a 2015 Chevy High Country 4x4. Good looking truck. He sends me back a quote for the standard internet price. I do some research and find the exact same truck listed on car gurus for a thousand less than what ole T-bone quoted me and it was still rated as overpriced. I just bought a $27,000 Mercedes a year ago and this is how he treated me. Not only that but guy is pushy and sent me a bunch of we are family emails.
