I just purchased a home and had issues with my fireplace damper not opening. After checking out reviews, I called Texas Chimney for an inspection and cleaning. Nadav was very prompt. I'd asked for them to call me at work 15 minutes before the appointment, which he did, and by the time I got to my house, he and his crew were already on the roof inspecting the chimney. He took pictures of an area that needed to be patched on the roof, showed me the issues that needed to be repaired in and around the fireplace, gave me a fair price, and began working right away. He and his crew were very polite, neat and efficient. He fixed the damper, cleaned and sealed the fireplace,showed me pictures of the work he did on the roof, and even tested the fireplace with a smoke bomb to make sure the smoke wasn't still coming into the house. We have a new chimney and the parts are renewed and renovated, then had a couple of roaring fires over the chilly weekend!! The team of four from 'Texas Chimney' worked great together, headed by this lovely guy! First it was carefully cleaned with a gigantic vacuum cleaner and spinning brushes. A crack in fireplace bricks glued with a fireproof sealant, all painted with heat proof paint, and new gas jets installed. The outside was lined to waterproof the inside, a big new chimney cap, 8 ft wooden tower -hand made of hardy plank. I nipped out and bought some paints so they were able to complete the whole job in one day. The price was reasonable given the amount of work and materials. We had a great appreciatiion session at the end because it all went so well. read more

We called this company just after Christmas to repair our chimney. He scheduled us for New Years Day which was amazing when the other companies we called was closed for the holiday or wanted to schedule us for weeks away. Nadav came out quickly and provided an inspection of our large fireplace and chimney. He repaired a few loose bricks, painted the inside of the fireplace, and installed a new gas pilot.
