Now some items are priced higher than other places, but they are top quality. I was shopping for a rug for my patio and I found an item that matched my color scheme but I decided to look around at other items and when I returned to my choice a few minutes later, it was gone just that quick! Always secure your item first, you can always place it back if you change your mind or find something else. I could spend hours here just perusing the inventory.

A few days ago I purchased a large ceramic rabbit at this store to place in an assisted living. It cost 100 dollars. When I got home from the store, I picked the rabbit up by its head and the head broke off. I went back to the store and spoke with the store manager who told me her name was Debbie. I asked if they would replace the rabbit or at least give me a discount on a new one. Debbie told me "too bad so sad". She said there was nothing they could do to help me out. Debbie was so hostile and rude to me. I told Debbie that I have been a customer of At-Home for years and have spent a lot of money there. She told me "that's too bad." It's no wonder At-home had to file for bankruptcy last year when they have managers that are rude and not the least bit customer friendly. I still am shocked out how rude Debbie was to me.

We had seen the sign for a while, so when we heard it was open we went just to see what they had…read more We ended up dropping $50 on random items. If you've been to Five Below, Big Lots, and/or Cost Plus World Market, you'll notice the similarities. They have a wide array of merchandise, but maybe not as many choices in each product line. So they have party supplies, home decor, personal hygiene, pharmacy items (think vitamins and supplements and OTC medicine), snacks and drinks, toys, school/office supplies, craft supplies, and seasonal/holiday items. They just might only have 3-4 shelf units for any one of those lines. But the prices are great. Don't be surprised if you walk up to the register and you don't see anyone - the staff were friendly, but they were all over the store, cleaning, stocking, etc. So the registers are self-serve. There is a gift available if you download their app and register online, and we found someone quickly to help us redeem it. It was a very nice experience, and we definitely want to go back If you're like us at all, some of the items were things we recognized (brand name) at good prices, and some we didn't recognize and the prices weren't super-great. (Shrug). It's very worth visiting and going through the aisles. We found some great deals and interesting items. Your mileage may vary. But it's worth a look.

Lo and behold, Far Pavilions has been around for 16 (?) years and I had no clue! If you are wanting a statement piece, and / or something well-made (solid wood!) then this is a must-stop. I fell in love with so many items, it was almost overwhelming. I absolutely love how they write a little backstory on the tag for each item so you can learn about how something was repurposed. They have all kinds of furnishings too...coffee tables, side tables, consoles, armoires, lamps, table runners, etc. We went through the store several times and discovered more things we loved each time. And I think have even more online and in their warehouse. If you're wanting unique or one-of-a-kind home furnishings, searching for sustainable pieces, and love a boho / eclectic vibe, Far Pavilions is the place to go. I just wish I'd found it sooner!

Surprisingly Impressive Walmart in Bridgeland - Enjoy It While It Lasts!…read more I usually avoid Walmart like the plague due to the overwhelming crowds and the chaotic shopping experience that feels like gearing up for battle. However, this newly built Walmart in the Bridgeland Community took me by complete surprise--in the best way possible. The store is immaculately clean, well-organized, and refreshingly calm. Even more shocking? The customer service was outstanding--friendly, helpful, and attentive. That's a rare experience at Walmart, where I've come to expect grumpy or disengaged employees. Because of those past experiences, I typically steer clear of the brand altogether, but this location made me rethink that. Shopping here was peaceful and stress-free. I didn't have to dodge massive crowds or navigate cluttered aisles. It honestly made me fall a little in love with this store. That said, I'm realistic--this atmosphere probably won't last long. The calm vibe, friendly service, and sparse crowds are likely due to how new this location is. I even noticed a few questionable customers wandering around, seemingly scoping things out. So if you're thinking about visiting, do it soon. This is likely a temporary window of serenity. Special Features: A Sushi Chef & Sushi Station for fresh-made options A Dunkin' Donuts Coffee Shop inside the store Heads-Up: There's no McDonald's in this Walmart--and honestly, I think that's a plus. McDonald's feels overdone at this point, and Dunkin' is a welcome change. Final Thoughts: If you're in the Bridgeland area, this Walmart is worth a visit--especially while it still feels fresh and well-maintained. Here's hoping they can preserve this level of service and cleanliness for the long haul!
