The food is fabulous, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is entertaining. We enjoyed every time we go.

I've been to the one near Chicago (Schaumburg) and it was pretty good, but this Texas de Brazil - Denver is AMAZING! Beautiful decor with high ceilings, impeccable service by the whole team, and unlimited delicious food made for a wonderful experience! Our server, Katelynn, was incredible...so engaging and attentive, with such a positive and joyful spirit, she really cared for us like family! Even the managers were so helpful and made sure everything was good for us, and the meat servers seemed to always be around when we needed more of that delicious meat! I usually try to plan well by not eating too much of the salads and cold food side items, but there were so many items that were too good to pass up. Most people in the Chicago area where I'm from look forward to going to the "other" well-known Brazilian Steakhouse (which I won't mention here), and Texas de Brazil is hardly mentioned. I came here to Denver this weekend to celebrate my sister's 60th birthday here at TdB, and we all loved it so much. Now I want to go back to the one in Chicago and try it again. read more

It was an incredible experience. My only issue was, I could not understand one word other than plate that the wait staff said to me. The salad and soup bar was amazing. The chimichurri sauce was incredible. The lobster bisque was to die for they had everything you could think of on a salad bar and more! And the meat the lamb was good, the filet mignon was excellent, the bacon wrapped fillet was good a little salty though. I did not care for the ribs however I did like the sausage. The restaurant was clean. everything was good. I really wish we had not eaten so much of the salad and gotten more meat but that's my bad. read more

Best churrascaria in the state, by far. Yes they're a chain, but a darn good one. Jeff the GM runs a TIGHT ship and the staff are extremely sharp, the meats perfectly seasoned and the salad bar is sophisticated and impeccably layered with beautiful cheeses, cured meats and other goodies. One thing you never have to worry about here is getting enough food. Really have to take it easy on the starters, the salad, mashed potatoes, and all the side dishes. You definitely need to focus on all the different Meats, they bring to your table to Tri. My favorite meat of the evening was most definitely the sirloin. It had the best texture and the most flavor. The sound level was very high with the music in the size of the crowd, so we weren't always able to hear the name of the meat they were slicing for us to try. I would say the filet mignon was second And the bacon wrap chicken was third everything else. Kind of fell into a muddled fourth place. The price overall for the experience is actually pretty phenomenal in today's economy. I was pleasantly surprised at the starting price of $54 per person! By the end of our dinner, both my wife and I felt like we definitely needed to be rolled to the car lol. My wife had the cheesecake for dessert and I had the carrot cake. We didn't finish either one and had to take the remaining home. Always top notch quality of food here. This place was frigid inside and I wasn't comfortable so I advise people to wear pants, long skirts or sweaters. The gauchos were very kind and busy running from table to table, per usual. The salad bar was phenomenal as was their lobster bisque soup. I found the noise level to be awful with lots of echoes and because the servers had to wear masks, we could barely understand anything they said!! Place was absolutely packed. People waiting overflowed into dining area. Tables were very close together and noisy. I think they accept too many reservations at one time. Meat was good. Salad bar was great. Waited a while to see a server once seated. Someone took our drink order then another person came and said he was actually our server and we should order with him. Luckily no wait for food. Asked for refill on bread but never saw it. Had to track down server again for check which took a while. Totally not his fault, he was given too many tables. If you are looking for a quiet romantic dinner, this is not it. It was tasty but not sure if it's worth the $150 for 2 people. read more

We made lunch reservations for an early Father's Day gift for my husband. We have dine at Texas de Brazil before, but in San Antonio, TX. We definitely were not disappointed dining at this location. The food was fantastic and our server was wonderful! She recommended their signature margarita which was absolutely amazing! She also explained all the desserts and we picked the cheesecake! I must say it was the best cheesecake I've ever had except at the Cheesecake Factory! We were so surprised at the size of the restaurant but being the day before Father's Day it filled up fast. The only downside to our whole dining experience was the size of the table for 2. It would have been fine if we were just having drinks and dessert but for a meal it was way too small especially with bread, side dishes, water glasses and drink glasses. By the time you added the salad plates and maybe a soup bowl there was no room for the entree plate. The staff was wonderful about clearing the used dishes away but it was still very tight with such a small table. We have family visiting from out of state in August and have already told them we are bringing them to Texas de Brazil while they are here. My favorites- The salad bar has so many varied choices and is right in the middle so you can always go refill throughout your meal. The meat, SO MANY CHOICES, i personally recommend the chicken wrapped in bacon. (i'm still dreaming of them). I'm not huge on red meat, but my family loved all of them! Ice cream and flan were to die for. frozen strawberry lemonade is a MUST. Extremely salty and over priced. Food quality is lacking compared to other similar concept restaurants. Fogo de Chão has such better food. You can just tell the food quality is way different from Fogo de Chão to here. This is a typical Darden chain restaurant similar to Olive Garden, Red Lobster, or any of those other horrible choices. The service was pretty good, considering there was quite a few of us at the table. Our waiter was pretty much on top of things and kept our waters filled and kept us with fresh plates and so on. Good job to those guys. The salad bar was very clean, and everything was very fresh. Some of the choices were, however, too salty to eat. The sautéed mushrooms were so salty that I could take one bite and then I had to chug some water. The tomato soup from the salad bar didn't quite taste right. It tasted like burnt plastic maybe, so avoid that. All the rest of the veggies for the salad bar were nice and fresh with the exception of some really green tomatoes that probably should've been thrown away. I'm not a big meat eater, but every piece of meat I tried, seemed extremely salty to me. I had a little bit of lamb, which was not that salty, but the spicy sirloin, the shank, whatever they called it, and the brisket were so salty that I couldn't eat but 1/2 of one bite. My kids and my wife said the same thing, that the meat was so salty that it just didn't taste good. I would never pick a restaurant like this in the first place, but we were with a big party, so we were kind of brought here. Whatever. The tables are crammed in here so close together, that you can barely move past somebody without bumping into their chair. Why? Always fun to watch gauchos run around with ticks of meat, and yelling at the kids to stop flipping the card over when your plate is already spilling over. On to the good stuff. A nice break to the hustle and bustle of the dining room, the bathrooms were quite enough and the music at a comfortable level. The large wooden doors left more than enough privacy. However, the men's room has a funk like it may have lost its air gap and best of Denver's sewer gas was making it great escape. The biggest turn off wasn't that, it was the nice little surprise some left on the floor of one the stalls. Looked like someone just missed and left a little Hersey squirt in the floor. I attempted to cover it with some TP but made me gag. Texas de Brazil is a fun experience! We were there to celebrate my partner's birthday and it certainly was a fun setting for that! Our server was very welcoming and attentive which I appreciated for the occasion! They have a really beautiful salad bar filled with tons of cheeses, some olives, fruits, soup, and side dish items like mushrooms! I really enjoyed the salad bar almost more than the meat that came to the table. But, trying all of the different cuts of meat table side was also fun! Especially in a group setting where you can discuss what you enjoyed the most and what was just okay! :) All-in-all I feel like the atmosphere is fun, the decor reminds me of almost an outdated cruise, but the food... while it was tasty, I certainly did not personally feel that I ate my money's worth of food. I definitely under-ate and/or the prices just are higher for this particular dining experience. I couldn't have gotten in another bite either. So, if you have a big appetite and love meat, this will be a great option for you! I also feel gatherings are fun here. We went for a friend's birthday and had a nice meal! Some cuts of meat are better than others. My favorites were the filet mignon, shrimp, and Brazilian sausage. The plantains and mashed potatoes that come to your table are great as well. Overall the food was super tasty. I enjoyed the salad bar but I wish there were more sauces for your meat. I don't love the interior. Although it looks elaborate and beautiful (think Cheesecake Factory) the tables were cramped and small. It was hard to have multiple plates per person to accommodate dishes. We also weren't seated until about 20 minutes after our reservation. Recently visited Texas de Brazil to celebrate my birthday and what a joy that was! First and most prominently, the service was OUT OF THIS WORLD. I've been to other Brazilian steakhouses and nothing can compare to the service we received here. No stone left unturned, including asking what meats we'd like to see more of, a birthday dessert etc. The food is cooked perfectly, not just the meats which are outstanding but everything on the salad buffet is spectacular. Now i will have the cheeses and soup, but at 52.00 a pop its all about the meat. But with a veriety of nine meats coming buy you can eatore than a pound. Now some will say 52.00 way to much compare a choice of one type of meat at 3/4 the price at the steakhouses. Large groups to couples make reservations and get your meat coma on. As Brazilian Steakhouses go, this one is one of the best in the Denver area....but why only 3 stars, you ask?...Well, it was the torrential wet weather we have been having and the resulting leaks in the roof that caused a minor distraction. Not a big deal if you don't mind stepping around buckets and an occasional rogue drop square top of your head while visiting the salad bar....but I digress....My friend was in town and was being held captive at the behemoth New hotel near the airport and was dying for a steak. The service was amazing! We were a group of seven there for two bdays and the staff was so kind and very attentive. The salad bar had a large variety and plenty for a pescatarian. She ate so much smoked salmon. The meat was cooked lovely but a little salty. Our server did ask if we wanted less salt at the beginning and we said no. I'm sure we could have asked in the middle of the meal for less salty meat but we did not. So if you have to watch your sodium intake or don't like super salty meat ask for the reduced salt! The dining area and bathrooms were very clean. Though tables were kinda close together and a little hard to maneuver with how busy it was. One of the worst churrasco experiences of my life. I have tried both its competitor F.T.C. and this place. We were a party of 4 and here for dinner. The meats were extremely salty. Over the course of 2 hours, we were served beef 2 times (by asking both the table server and meat servers multiple times for it). The meat servers ignored our table and only went to 8+ people tables which were behind us. After 1 hour of no meat, the table server had to convince them to come to our table. We asked why filet mignon was not served. After that and another hour of waiting, the meat person came with scrap bits (2inch size) of overcooked beef and threw it at our plates. The salad bar had pineapple slices with tons of brown sugar, but no other fruits or refreshing sides. The taste was also sub par. I have no idea why people think they have excellent salad bars. The server seemed upset that we did not order wine, and was very clear about that. We wanted to give 0 tip for the absolutely horrible experience, but tipped the server because she did help us express our concerns to the meat severs and cooks. For the price of $270 for 4 people, one of the worst experiences and I will never return. If you are not a party of 6 or more, I would not recommend. I was able to pick up $100 gc for $80 from Sam's Club to save a little. I like this location as it's minutes away from my house. I took my friend there and we both loved it. The salad bar is fairly extensive with cheese, bread, soup, salad greens, beans, etc. The meats were very tasty and I tried all of them. My favorite still is the sirloin. They gave you a basket of light fluffy small bread and some plaintains as sides. They had a good selection of alcohol and we ordered wine and champagne. We were too stuffed for dessert. So I have made my tour of these type of restaurants complete in the Denver metro as best to my knowledge anyway. This location that we visited on New Years eve is located in the Northfield shopping center. The dress is casual but the environment is in my opinion is a little nicer than casual, and from what I noticed it seemed most of the men wore button down shirts and the ladies business casual. Didn't see any jeans. This is all you can eat so don't eat all day so you have an appetite! If you've been to Rodizio, or Fogo de Chao it's basically the same procedure. They have attendants that make the rounds with different types of meats on skewers and offer you different choices and you eventually find a favorite. I really enjoyed the spicy tenderloin and the Brazilian sausage. The bacon wrapped chicken didnt offend me either,lol. I felt the salad bar was a little small as far as variety and or lack of labels but my wife liked it and if you have a parmesan cheese wheel it's a 5 star rating in her book any time!! Lol. The other thing that we noticed that was different were the portions they served you off the skewers, instead of cutting you slivers they gave you the whole piece, win! The one thing I missed was the grilled pineapple, but if you want that than you would need to go to competition. We opted for deserts of the traythat were delicious and went well with my after dinner coffee. All in all we really enjoyed our time. Our host was very friendly and accommodating and offered information about private rooms that are available for large parties or special occasions. I think the only small negative was the way you notified the attendant when you were ready for your serving of meats to begin. In case you haven't been to one of these style places they have a coaster style piece of cardboard that is green on one side for go and red for stop and you place it on the side that you want while you enjoy what you have on front of you or give up. The only reason I bring this up is there is another place that has a wooden hourglass shaped piece that is more visible and seems to be a little more noticeable. But all in all I would definitely recommend this establishment. A little more pricey but I think the atmosphere is deserving of it. Also I've heard this place has some high dollar alcohol available including a shot of whiskey (maybe) that runs $500!! So enjoy yourself and enjoy your time, and don't rush. read more

This was my 2nd time at Texas de Brazil, but it has been a few years since I was last there. A friend from out of town made a reservation but when we arrived, we found out that my friend had made the reservation for the Tacoma, WA location so we really had no reservation and the place was very busy. This is where their staff blew me away. The hostess, (I wish I could remember her name) said "no problem. If you can give me a few minutes, I'll see what I can do." We ordered a drink at the bar and before I was halfway done with my beer, she had a table for us. I was stunned because they were very busy. All the staff there were top notch. Friendly, fast, informative... just amazing. I can't wait to go back if for nothing else but the service! And the food was fantastic as well. You go here for the meat, but the salad bar had things I never dreamed of putting a salad, but I did. Just an excellent experience. I was blown away as was my buddy from out of town. We were craving some meat and had never been to a Brazilian steak house so we decided to give this place a shot. I'm glad we did. We came in and noticed the place was pretty packed but were seated in about 5 minutes or so, super friendly staff up front. Once we were seated we were greeted by our host, I wish I could remember your name because you were absolutely great. He asked if we had ever been there before and we told him no - he filled us in on how the whole thing works. You get to go grab however much salad you want and then you get these little tokens that have a green side and a red side. If you want meat you flip to green, if you don't want any meat you flip it to the red. Great. Now that we understood the whole thing we started with some salad. They have a smaller selection of salads but that doesn't matter because the variety is there. Salmon, tons of different salads, from noodle salads, to potato salads, and everything in between. I tried a little of everything and I've got to say. It's all good. I especially liked the ham and salami. They tasted great and reminded me of German lunch meats. Once we were done with the salads we called in the meats. We started off with some flank steak. Delicious. Then the Filet Mignon came around and that was excellent too. Some kind of garlic steak came by next which was my favorite. Some pork tenderloin, bacon wrapped chicken breasts, lamb chops, and a slew of other meats later we were full. The only thing I have to say is that I'm not a fan of lamb - which has nothing to do with Texas de Brazil but more to do with the fact that I just discovered I don't like lamb. We grabbed some desserts to go and once we did eat them we realized they too were delicious. Everyone we encountered was super friendly, kind, and courteous. The place is clean and well taken care of. Management is actively walking around and making sure everything is good and taken care of as well, something you don't see much anymore but is appreciated. It's a little expensive, but you can't complain. People walk around with meats on large metal skewers and you get to eat as much as you want. If you think buffets are "fire" then you should just come try real meats cooked over an actual fire, cause this place is lit. I'll see my way out... Enjoy the food! I'm very skeptical about most upscale restaurant in Colorado because this state is notorious for overrated food (sorry not sorry) so having this live up to the hype was nice. First off the service was spectacular. The waiters served us like clockwork and made sure we had everything we wanted to our liking. They were also very nice and impressionable people. The meat was juicy and flavorful, the seafood tastes pretty good as well as the margs. I'd say the chicken could've been a little juicier but it was crazy dry. For starters, knowing that it's Mother's Day and every where is going to be packed, add the extra staff on hand if possible. Also, don't over book the restaurant. We had reservations for 1745 and didn't get seated until 1830. Our waiter was really nice and professional. He was constantly bouncing from table to table ensuring that all guests were taken care of. He was truly what saved my thoughts on the restaurant. Loved the salad bar - everything there was absolutely amazing. My daughter inhaled the smoked salmon and rice from the bar, she was so full and left with a happy tummy. I really wish we got to taste more meats, we were seated closer to the entrance and never once saw any chicken, pork, or lamb - we kept getting left out even though our little cards were green. My husband thought it'd be funny to put the card on his forehead to see if the guys would start walking our way more often - didn't work. Also .... Let me not forget to include how absolutely DISGUSTING the women's bathroom was. I walked in and was IMMEDIATELY hit in the face with such a god awful smell, then went to look at the toilets and every single one was disgusting!! Water was everywhere, one toilet flooded and literally had to pull a Karen and ask for a manager after the other three people we approached with the problem did absolutely nothing.
