Finally made it and it absolutely lived up to the hype. I was impressed by the market table and hot side bar. Most Brazilian steakhouses focus almost entirely on the meat, but I loved having so many fresh salads, sides, and hot dishes to mix in throughout the meal. The variety of meats was excellent, too. Each cut had its own seasoning and flavor profile, so it never felt repetitive like some places where every bite tastes the same despite being a different cut. But the real MVP? The Brazilian limeade. I genuinely could've had 10 of them. That and the caramelized plantains and grilled pineapple! Chefs kiss. I'd honestly go back just for those alone. Embarrassing is what comes to mind thinking of our dinner. Upon a recommendation that I had made, 6 of us eagerly went-fully thinking we would enjoy an experience like others Fogo de Chao's... We were wrong! The service was so poor we had to keep requesting items-only to see them go to other tables and not ours. I requested "bone-in ribeye" 5x, and almost 2 hrs later one did show up, but not after half the table was done. Several orders of pichana were so overly done that it could have passed for beef jerky. Often the signature fat cap was left off as the gaucho cut the piece top to bottom. It's not like the selections were not ready, we could clearly see them making their way through the restaurant, only to be thwarted a few tables away. I requested chimmichuri for the 6 of us, got 2 1oz ramekins a half hour later. No apology, no explanation why this tiny amount was to serve 6 adults. When we were done, no "thank you for choosing Fogo de Chao". Other locations, the head server or manager would frequent each table-not here. And maybe that's why it is-what it is. My group and I felt that we were often neglected and had to constantly ask and follow up on our requests. We were there for 2.5hrs..and it wasn't even because we were socializing and catching up. Ordered delivery from Fogo de Chao and requested my Picanha and Fraldinha to be cooked Rare to Medium Rare directly on the app: Unfortunately, the meat arrived completely overcooked, dry, and incredibly tough to chew. It was honestly mostly inedible like tough beef jerky. Maybe because they don't even put the meat in a separate container, only wrapped in foil where they can steam and dry out even more. The only saving grace of the entire meal was the cheese bread, which was excellent, but you only get 2 pieces per entree. We've been to other fogo de Chao locations, but first time at this one. Food was good, we did the experience and i felt like we kept getting the same meats served to us. We did enjoy the majority of the side dishes that were eventually brought out to us. We were in the back and all the good Meats never really made it to us. My husband is a black man and they sat us in the back where they had all the black people. I thought that was strange and i didnt notice until we went up to the self serve food stations. Service wasn't the best, we would try to flag down our server but he was no where to be found for long periods of time. Overall our dinner was enjoyed and the crème brûlée was delicious! read more

This is a great steakhouse but it's nice for vegetarians too. I wouldn't recommend bringing an all veggie crew here but as one of the party I had a great time. Plus they were good for gluten free folks too. They brought out a whole spreadsheet for all their food and common allergies. It was really exceptional. Their salad bar is more than just salad with delicious pastas, rice/beans, grains, fruits, ect. They have two veggie entree too. In addition to your main though there are included hot sides like amazing roasted Yuca and delicious mashed potatoes. The service is above and beyond. With many people working with each table. We always love dining here, but what makes this place even better is the staff: so attentive to their guests. Every few minutes, someone would check the water in our cups. Doesn't sound a lot, but when the entire eating experience comes with expectations, this is one of the basic things for servers to do, and I appreciate your attention to my water cup. Today we ordered the wagyu ancho (ribeye) along with the full churrasco experience and took advantage of the lunch pricing. Although everything was delicious, I think we overdid it this time. I enjoyed everything they offered at the salad bar, but the best by far were the chili flakes bacon. OMG! I have dined here before, but never seen this food item offered. The chili flakes go quite well with the salty bacon. The rest of the meats including the filet mignon (exceptional good!), chicken wrapped in bacon, etc. were delicious. For a holiday, which was Labor Day, it was rather quiet at this location today. We were able to have a quiet lunch by the window where we can watch people walking by the establishment. I've been to various Fogos before, so I knew what to expect in terms of atmosphere, cost, and their offerings.. but I have to say that this was by far the BEST Fogo de Chão experience I've ever had, thanks to the staff at this particular location. We were simply bombarded with meat offerings. They came so fast and so furious that I had no other option but to deploy my red 'stop' sign. Not because I was full, but because I couldn't eat fast enough to keep up! Special shout out to our server Nick and his managers, Gabriel and Julia, for making the night extra special. I was really looking forward to dining here and hoped the experience would surpass Rodizio Grill and Texas de Brazil, but unfortunately it fell far short because of the service. The biggest issue was that the waitstaff carrying the meats repeatedly skipped our table. Our card was set to green for at least 25 minutes, yet we were continually passed over while other tables were served. What made it even more frustrating was watching tables that were seated after us being offered meats over and over again while we sat waiting. We had to repeatedly flag people down, and even then we were often ignored. At a Brazilian steakhouse, the continuous table-side meat service is the entire experience, so this was incredibly disappointing. Our waitress was also largely absent. She came to our table only once to refill my drink, and that wasn't until about 45 minutes into our meal. We spent far too much time trying to get someone's attention instead of enjoying our dinner. The manager stopped by to ask if everything was okay. In the moment, it's uncomfortable to tell someone face-to-face that the service has been terrible, so we simply said everything was fine. Looking back, I wish I had been more honest because the experience did not improve. The food we did receive was good, but it couldn't make up for the frustrating service. After reading other reviews, it seems this isn't an isolated incident. If management is aware of these ongoing service issues, it's disappointing that nothing appears to be changing. I had high expectations and was excited to give Fogo a try, but based on this experience, I would choose Rodizio Grill or Texas de Brazil instead. I attended this past Thursday 6/28 the wine pairing dinner. I had the most amazing experience. I was personally invited by Beatriz. She constantly came over to make sure that I was enjoying myself, took care of my food sensitivities before arriving and let the waitresses know as well. Beatriz is such a vibe. I had to set up a business dinner for 17 people and chose Fogo because of its reputation for decent food. I reached out to Anastasia a couple of weeks prior to set up dinner and see what options they had. She was very helpful with everything all the way down to getting me pricing and meal options, pricing, and setting up the room for this dinner. Our party showed up and were directed to the room. The room was pre-set up and was quite spacious. The food that evening was nice, from the salad bar to the various proteins brought around over the next couple of hours. They even popped into the room occasionally with portable, rolling bars that offered the guests various other drink options. Their caipirinha was quite popular with our party, as we seemed to drink many of them. Our primary server in the room, Jason was excellent as well! He and his team kept a constant eye on us, cleared tables frequently, took requests for meats and had them immediately delivered, and ensure we were sincerely happy with our visit. Overall, this was a very nice business dinner. I'd definitely recommend having your special dinner meal here. Give Anastasia a call to get one set up for you! read more

5 stars for the wait staff and food. I would take away a star for Fogo de Chao's current business model - allowing overbooking at their restaurant and over extending their staff. This past Saturday was stupid busy. I really felt bad for the wait staff. The food was still delicious, the service was still good, but the long wait for gauchos and the long wait for a table with a reservation was silly. I heard they had over 700 guests for the dinner service, and for the staff to still have a smile at the end of the day was mind blowing to me - they are definitely professionals! I see a lot of them looking overwhelmed in-between guests but always a positive, smiling face when dealing with the guests. I applaud them for getting through the dinner service. Shout out to our main server - Carter. He was on point and attentive - you can tell he really loves his job. I didn't get the names of the other gauchos who really stood out and I'm sorry I have to describe how they look - one was a handsome dark complexion man (he sounded like he was from Africa) who always had a smile and joked around with us with the best attitude when he brought us the meat. One was a petite beautiful blond-ish hair, fair complexion lady that promise to come right back to our table with the picahna after getting it a little bit more done - she did come right back!! One was another petite adorable Latina lady that served us the grilled cheese with honey that had the best laugh. I didn't get to take photos this time as we tried to eat as fast as we could and get out before they close... our reservation was at 7:15, we didn't get seated until closer to 8, and by the time we grabbed our check it was almost 10, there was a lot do waiting for the gauchos to come around, and the drinks refill but with the amount of customers that night, totally understandable.... Fogo de Chao is still the best Brazilian steakhouse in my opinion and I didn't know they validated parking until this time, so it's nice to come to downtown without worrying about parking. We were seated for over 45 minutes before they brought out any rib eye--we had to ask the manager to get us some ribeye, filet and lamb chops. I've been going to Fogo for easily over a decade now, probably longer. I first started going in DC and have now been to about 10 locations in different states. The amount of food, good quality food, for the price is hard to beat when you could spend $60 on a plate somewhere else and not like it. The market table alone is worth it but the variety of meats, cuts and flavors is just so good!! I recently went to this Denver location as I celebrated my birthday in Denver (I'm from Seattle). It was a great dinner, from the food, service to the ambiance. I thoroughly enjoyed my birthday meal here and the free dessert doesn't hurt! The caipirinha drink is my absolute favorite, any flavor but the OG and the strawberry hibiscus are my favorite. I just always enjoy the food, drinks and vibe at Fogo. read more

This was our first time trying Fogo de Chão in Denver, and we came with a group of four to celebrate my birthday. We were excited for the all-you-can-eat experience, but overall, it didn't live up to expectations. Service was lacking -- drinks took a while, water refills were slow, and there were long gaps between when different meats were brought around. Some of the cuts were tasty, but several came out cold or overcooked. For a place that specializes in endless meat, it felt oddly limited at times. We had noted the birthday on the reservation, but there was no acknowledgment or special touch, which was a letdown. That said, the manager did come over after we raised our concerns and did their best to make things right -- we appreciated that effort. Unfortunately, even with the manager stepping in, the overall experience just didn't feel worth the price for a special occasion. Not sure we'd return. read more

We visited on 6.24.26 to celebrate my birthday and use my birthday reward. Everything was good except the filet mignon. I was disappointed because it is one of my favorite cuts of beef. The filet was like shoe leather and very chewy and tough. Good filet should be like butter. Not sure what happened to your filet but it was not great. read more

Walking thru the door, I instantly regretted dining here. There were no hosts to greet us and once we were seated, we waited quite awhile for a server to tend to us. Overall, we didnt mind our dinner and our drinks. We felt like the same meat was coming around over and over again. We had to request for certain meats to come by. Not the best experience unfortunately. We've been to Fogo in other cities and have always had a great, consistent experience. This location in Denver however was just dirty and not one we will come back to. We arrived late afternoon on a Sunday. There was meat on the floors by our table and it looked as if the floors had not been vacuumed or cleaned from the evening before. Our utensils were questionable and needed to be replaced. The salad bar area looked liked it had not been refilled or cleaned since it was first filled for the day with several almost empty items and messes all around. Very unappetizing. The meats were mostly good except for the lamp chops which were undercooked and still bloody. We had to ask for specific items as they kept bringing around the same 4-5 over and over. We had to ask the gaucho twice for the sides and condiments as our waiter disappeared. Then again for the cheese bread which finally came towards the end of the meal with the bread a bit undercooked. We were never asked again if we wanted another cocktail. Bad service and experience for a $190 meal and one we won't be repeating here. If you are considering, head to Guard and Grace instead. read more
