Food- the salad bar was ok lots of the food was over seasoned and the meat was mainly different cuts of beef no chicken the pork was so dry and I had to ask if they had lamb. The cocktails were good. Had to find someone to refill waters multiple times. We had to ask to get our bread or we wouldn't have gotten it with the meal. Service- they need to work on this aspect when we were seated the manager came over to us after we we're waiting a few minutes saying we had two waitresses they would be over shortly. We waited and waited finally one took our cocktail order then like five minutes later the other came over to take drink order it was like that the whole night of these two not communicating about what they were doing. The servers took forever to do anything we got there at 7:45 and didn't leave till 10 because of all the waiting we had to do and they couldn't figure out the coupon we had plus a free dessert that we got charged for then had to wait to find them to fix that then another ten minutes to fix it. I will not recommend this place to anyone and will not be going back they need to figure out what they are doing in there. Go to Lincoln if you want a good place. read more

Someone at my table coined this restaurant perfectly, a glorified buffet. I would recommend making a reservation before because while it may be a big space, the restaurant is packed. The flow of everything seemed a bit off to me but I am sure they are trying to get as many tables as they can in the space. The lighting was very bright and did not seem like anywhere you wanted to sit and hang out. The server took quite a while to come to our table and they all seemed to be running around. With that being said they were all polite and did a decent job for how busy it was. We did order cocktails and were never asked for a refill. It is pretty much, get everything ordered when your waiter first comes by or you will be SOL. You can begin at the salad bar, which as many have mentioned, is very impressive. The salad bar had lots of cold AND hot options which was cool to see. They even had sauces that you could use on the meats they brought around-horseradish, chimichurri, etc. The meat was seasoned well but I will be honest, certain pieces are a lot fattier than others. We saw multiple people spitting their food in the napkin or even back on the plate because of this. I understand that is not something they can control but wanted to note that. I took my girlfriend here for Valentine's Day, and was pleasantly surprised with the service as well as the atmosphere. The restaurant was busy yet our table was quiet and could easily talk and chat. Our server, Brady, was also fantastic. He helped us with great wine recommendations, and he had a great attitude. My favorite meat was the flank steak, and had multiple servings of it. This review is for Texas De Brazil, located in the Capital District here in Omaha. I've wanted to try this place, got a chance in Friday 1/20/23. Which happens to be my Birthday. Made a reservation for 5 pm, arrived was checked in and promptly seated. My server, Hope was very informative and friendly, guided ne through all the choices and options. The Salad Bar: was very fresh with lots of options. This being my first time, I did not go heavy on these items will next time. For those that are Vegan/ not Much of a meat eater, the selections along with the soup items should allow you to enjoy as well. Now to the Meats: I agree with the reviews the Flank Steak, Fillet Mignon, Prime Rib and The Spicy Sausage we're winners. The Bacon Wrapped Chicken very good, the Lamb and Garlic Parmesan Chicken were overcooked. I got a piece of cake for my birthday complements of them. It was decadent and delicious For the Price, atmosphere and service it's worth the price. Hope you rocked. I'll return again soon. read more

I have been to Texas de Brazil several times in Vegas. We decided to take two of our friends to celebrate, and we really hyped up this restaurant. It was their first time, and it was our first visit to the Omaha location. Sadly, it was not a good choice and to say it was disappointing is an understatement. It was embarrassing actually. It was fairly steady, but I wouldn't say busy when we arrived. We had a reservation, and once we were seated, it took longer than would be expected to be greeted by our server and asked for a drink order. She did stop by and acknowledge us, so we at least knew that she knew we had been seated and would be with us. Once she greeted us and took our drink order, it went downhill fast! We ordered 2 drinks from the bar. It took over 20 minutes to receive our drinks, of which we had to ask to see if the were still coming, and it wasn't because they weren't made. We could see them at the bar waiting to be picked up. We asked if we could get some meat cooked medium well knowing that it may take longer. After asking our server twice if it was coming, and our server asking us if we ever got it, it wasn't until literally an hour later before the manager brought over the meat. ( and then it was their Spicy Meat selection). Our sides didn't come until about 30 to 40 minutes into our meal. We were never asked if we wanted another drink from the bar. Our server appeared to be focusing on on particular table of 8 in particular, and we didn't see much of her throughout the dining experience. To top it off the meats were not all that great compared to what I have had before. It definitely was not worth the $245 we spent on dinner, and probably will not be back again. read more

As a Brazilian, I can't resist a rodizio style restaurant. We've been to the Texas De Brazil in both Tampa and Dallas and have had varying experiences. We've been twice since they opened in October. Both times the meat and salad bar were great. The second time we went we made an 11 am reservation to do a little Christmas lunch the day before Christmas Eve. Apparently they had staffing issues so we weren't seated until 11:40. They were kind enough to give everyone a free round of drinks for having to wait and the bar tender was super nice. He even brought juice for my toddlers. My only complaint was that the rice was under cooked in their rush to get everything running because of the staff shortage I guess. I'm also not. Fan of the way the seating is set up. The tables are super crammed together and it just feels less nice for a place that you're paying a minimum of $50 a person (kids luckily are $5 a person which is pretty great). I'd definitely suggest someone come in and restructure the way the tables are laid out or even consider cutting down on seating. read more

HORRIBLE....I just moved back here from Dallas last year so I personally know how the flow of this restaurant is "supposed" go. This is an expensive restaurant that's "supposed" to be a 4 star restaurant. The 2 hostesses did not look the part (iykyk) the bar tenders were looking up how to make drinks in a book and they didn't have ANY paper napkins in the ENTIRE restaurant. The restaurant is way too small for the type of service that comes with the ambience of the meal. By that I mean that they come to your table with racks of meat and cut it and serve it to you at your table. The problem is there's no adequate room to sit comfortable and have a server cut meat at you table. I'll wait a year before I even attempt to try this restaurant again. Typically the manager would come to your table to engage with you and make sure you're having a good time and great meal. If I could give them half a star instead of 1 star, I would. My wife and I ate here just yesterday and it was not good at all. This was my first time having ever ate at a Texas De Brazil. My wife had been to one in Texas for her brothers wedding rehearsal dinner and raved about it so much that I couldn't wait to try it here in Omaha. The positives are the restaurant is very nice and cleanly. The staff were mostly friendly, but could have been a little more attentive to things such as refills, but overall not bad. Unfortunately that's where any of the good stops. The salad bar was probably the best thing they had, but still nothing all that special worth the price you pay. Every single meat they brought out was extremely fatty (other than the Fillet) which still wasn't good. The Brazilian Sausage was my favorite, but still nothing to write home about. My wife did get a Passion Fruit Margarita that she did really like. The mashed potatoes and fries our server brought to our table were cold and the cheese bread had a weird off putting taste to it. All in all our bill was $133 dollars and I thought that was absolutely absurd for the quality of food we received. We would have much rather went to Brother Sebastian's and received much higher quality better prepared food for at least 30 dollars less. We will not be coming back. read more

All of the warm side bar items were cold the entire time we were there. They stopped coming around with meat at 9pm. We asked twice and it was like they were upset. We were there for an anniversary and they knew that. We told them when we arrived and when we made reservations. They did not acknowledge it. There were six of us. I've been to another chain of Brazilian steakhouses several times but they are all out of town. I've been here a handful times since they have opened and each time has been comparable as far as food quality and experience. The waiters walk around with meats on giant skewers, asking if you would like some- Chicken, pork, lamb and steak- all seasoned wonderfully. The real hidden gems are that salad bar (think salads, beans, rice, charcuterie accoutrements) and those little cheese breads they bring to your table, along with potatoes and french fries.It is a smaller place, so reservations should be made and plan on sticking around for a while, since it is all you can eat. Also this place is marketed as a "fancy and upscale" place, it is so casual just wear sweats and you will fit right in. We wanted to really love it, but it was not a relaxing evening - the staff seemed stressed, the music was throbbing Miami douchery, and we felt hemmed in and a bit rushed. Checking out was clunky at best and incompetent at worst. We used the Costco gift cards and had to specifically request to leave a tip which makes us think the servers usually don't get a tip in those situations. Onto the food - the salad bar was better than competitors, but the meat was worse. Desserts were just ok but absolutely don't get the coffee. There were about two or three solid cuts of meat. The picanhas (especially the spicy) and the filet mignon were really good - everything else was either tough, too salty or bland, or just gross (parmesan drumettes). Felt bad when the manager and the server kept asking if it was good because there wasn't any space to give an honest assessment. Considering the cost of the evening, it just didn't add up. read more

Just had dinner here. THE WORST EXPERIENCE! The whole dining area was looking around for meat for at least a half hour with almost nothing. I found a course black hair in the mushrooms. The table next to me had to have manager comp some of their meal. Another table nearby said the best thing was the water. Having dinner at Texas de Brazil for my daughters birthday. Ordered drinks and a bottle of wine which came after we had finished our salad and soup bar and had started on meats. The birthday girl never received her martini until we were finishing up. Meats were average with flank steak being the best in my opinion. The service is was extremely slow. I would compare this restaurant to China Buffet. We came for a nice dinner and patrons were dressed for a back yard BBQ.IMO don't waste your money. read more

Yuck. So, I want to preface this review by saying we regularly dine out at a Brazilian Steakhouse where we are from and it is incredible. This steakhouse is nothing like it. The very best part was the salad bar. I have zero complaints there. BUT, the star of the show is supposed to be the meat and most of it was inedible-and that was IF the gauchos even came to our table. We were a party of 3 and they seemed to cater to the larger tables. In fact, I had to ask our waitress to send them over because even though our cards were on green, they still passed our table over and over again. The only 'good' piece of meat was the filet. The Parmesan pork was inedible, the sausage tasted like a hot dog, the bacon wrapped filet was TOUGH, and we were also offered lamb and declined. Other than that, no other meats were offered to us. The service was extremely slow and no one seemed to be in a hurry to do anything. Lots of staff just standing around. We had high expectations for this restaurant-as it was a celebratory dinner for our son who had just returned back from deployment. Our waitress was sweet and had our cocktails remade at the bar because they were made incorrectly the first time. To say we are disappointed after spending $240 on dinner would be an understatement. I would never eat at Texas De Brazil in Omaha again. Beware. read more

I called last night around 7:40pm to place a to-go order. The first time it rang and rang but no answer. I called a second time and finally someone answered. Their response was just "Texas de Brazil," no "Hello how may I help you?" Just very short with me. I wanted to try this place for the first time but was hesitant towards dining in which is why I opted to order to-go. The person I spoke to was rude and kept putting me on hold. I attempted ordering desserts and their churrasco plate. She was completely unaware of what the menu consisted of. I understand being new but to be put on hold a total of THREE times to then be transferred to a different person was infuriating. The first person was unprofessional and kept cutting me off while trying to speak over me, then when trying to order saying "okay what else? Are you done?" Then proceeding to yell at me to "speak up" I became flustered and ended telling the second person I no longer wanted to place a to go order because whoever the first person was made me feel bad for ordering a to-go. I'll try dining in next time and hope the service is better than trying to order a to-go. read more

t was my first-time visiting Texas de Brazil and while parts of my visit were good a lot was not very good. I enjoyed the ambiance and the good service from their staff. However, I visit a restaurant for the quality of their food. I loved the pork ribs that were tender and flavorful. However, their beef products were very tough and unchewable most of the time. It was very hard to cut through the portions I received, and I finally gave up. I was very disappointed. Also, it would have been nice if the staff had told me that sides would be delivered to my table. I cannot understand why COLD mashed potatoes were offered? I was stunned when I bit into the ones I brought back to eat. Shortly afterwards the warm potatoes arrived. But then I had to go back and get the tasty gravy that was offered. I warned some customers that the Mashed potatoes were cold, and then they did not want them. I am not sure if I will go back to for another visit. But I always like to give a restaurant another chance. I might recommend them with a good overview of what to expect. Follow up. We had a reservation for weeks for 4 people, arrived a few minutes early, and we had a terrible time getting seated! People were coming in the door and getting seated within minutes, and we had to remind the hostess two times that we had been waiting over a half an hour. Once seated, we headed to the salad bar which was better than most, with unique and quite delicious options. We enjoyed good au gratin potatoes from the "sides bar." No cheese ball (Brazi Bites) bread were brought to the table this time but the plantains and another type of bread were. As for the meat, the beef that came out was all medium rare and left me with a plate of blood that soaked everything. I had mentioned that I liked it more cooked. At one point we were told it was towards the end of the night, so choices of meat weren't as plentiful. (Our reservation was for 7 pm.)
