Where do I start? What an experience! Our waiters Jordan and Kaylee took amazing care of us. Talk about service, it started the moment we walked in and didn't end until we finished our dessert. The staff welcomed us and advised us on the specials, and because it was my first time gave me the rundown of how the restaurant worked. I started with a manhattan which was made beautifully and I loved the special touch of the three cherries. Then, they brought bread to us and I love that each person got their own personalized better. Then, we ordered our main course. I got a beet salad and their sea bass. The salad was amazing, and the sea bass was good, but the slaw on top was the star of the show. My family got the trio that had 2 kinds of steak and lobster. My mom said the steak melted in her mouth. She felt bad that I am a pescatarian diet and allergic to shellfish, because I couldn't try anything on her plate, but she said it was so good. She said it's the best steak she's ever had, even though she is a steak connoisseur, so that has to tell you something. We finished our meal off with the creme brule cheesecake, which did not disappoint, and even though it was my first time here it definitely will not my last. Beautiful restaurant! Perfect for a fancier more intimate occasion the lighting is very dim. The staff are very attentive and it just gives a general very romantic vibe! We went with 5 of us and sat it a private booth and were met immediately with our server! The menu was well explained as well as the specials and prices were clearly marked as this is a more expensive spot! I had the filet tips and it was very good! It's in a mushroom wine reduction kinda of gravy which was very flavorful definitely a strong comfort meal. My boyfriend had the 12 ounce fillet and it was cooked perfect for me. The center was red but hot and the sear had an amazing flavor. I only lost a star because two of our party felt like the steak center was a little rubbery for being a "medium". I visited the old location a number of times but this was my first visit since they moved. Service, ambiance and food were exceptional. I went all out and tried the A5 Wagyu imported from Japan. On the night I dined in the market price was $150 for 5oz but if you are up for the splurge, go for it. It has an 83 degree rendering point and absolutely melted in my mouth. Cocktails were leveled up, I had an ube whiskey sour and it was delicious. Oysters and lobster Mac were also phenomenal. Definitely a special occasion dining spot but worth it! read more

Tried this well-known steakhouse for the first time this past weekend with a group of six friends, and we were exceptionally well taken care of by our waitress. I never had the chance to visit the original location, which I've always thought had more character from the outside, but this spot didn't disappoint. For drinks, I went with an Espresso Martini and it disappeared in no time. Delicious, and I might even say one of the best in town! My husband had the Single Barrel Old Fashioned and thought it was great. Later in the night I ordered the Sourball Lemon Drop and so glad the waitress recommended it. So good! To start, my husband ordered the house salad and raved about it. The portion was huge, almost entree-sized. I didn't get a picture, but it looked fantastic. For my main, I went with the Chef's Classics 6oz Filet Mignon, served with Chive Whipped Potatoes. I ordered my steak medium, and it came perfectly cooked. The filet was absolutely fantastic, and the whipped potatoes were a perfect complement. We also shared a side of Sautéed Hand-Cut Corn, which we both loved. My husband went with the house special of the night, the Porterhouse Steak, and was very pleased with his choice. Went here for my husband's bday again and it is still our favorite steakhouse in Omaha. The service is top notch and the food and cocktails are delicious. It is classic, upscale steakhouse that isn't trying to be cool or instagramable. The servers all said Happy Birthday to my husband and gave him a 4 PC box of chocolates. We ordered the calamari for the kids. I think it was a mango sauce that came with it and it was delicious. We started off the the yummy rolls and wedge salad. I ordered the 12 oz filet mignon and it was so yummy and tender. My husband ordered the Ribeye. We also got the creamy whipped potatoes, spinach, and buttons. Went here for a work function and the staff is exceptional, very attentive and our large group was served quickly once we all arrived. It was quiet enough to talk and hear conversations. Disappointing Service My wife and I visited the bar on Memorial on August 22, 2026, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. From the moment we arrived, we felt that the atmosphere was unwelcoming. It took a considerable amount of time for the bartenders to acknowledge us and take our order. Matt did not speak to or acknowledge either of us during our visit, and our interactions with the female bartender also left us feeling as though we were not particularly welcome. We ordered a simple appetizer, which then sat for several minutes before being brought to our table. Throughout our visit, we felt an overall lack of attentiveness and a noticeable attitude from the staff. While we understand that service can occasionally be delayed when a restaurant or bar is busy, that did not appear to be the case during our visit. We are always understanding of the occasional busy period or service delay, but the overall experience made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Unfortunately, the customer service greatly impacted our impression of the establishment. We hope management will take this feedback seriously and use it as an opportunity to improve the guest experience. First time at their new location - it is beautiful! Sorry no pics, we were there for an event and didn't want to spoil the experience. I enjoyed the house salad (a large serving) which was loaded with fresh ingredients from radishes, carrots, candied walnuts, blue cheese and a tasty dressing. I ordered the filet - oh my! I ordered it medium plus which was a notch below medium well, it has a nice char on the outside which really added to the flavor, possibly included some house spices - delicious! The sides were served family style which included whipped potatoes, sautéed mushrooms, and asparagus with a sauce. Everything was awesome! Service was outstanding and very professional/upscale. Had dinner last night with the wife and a good friend at the Mahogany Steakhouse in Omaha and it was awesome! We showed up without a reservation on a Saturday night so ended up eating at the bar. Our bartender/server was Frank and he added a great personal touch. He was extremely social and gave great suggestions. We ended up splitting a ribeye because we had several starters like the shrimp cocktail and the sourdough bread with very soft butter. They also provided homemade chips with a cream like sauce that you could not quit eating. When we finally received our ribeye was cooked to perfection (med. rare for me) and was so tender. We added the Au gratin potatoes and the corn cut right off the cob that came in what appeared to be a creamy milk sauce. The food was great, our server was great and the restaurant itself is awesome with a great wood look, which helped for a great dining experience and atmosphere. The last thing I will add as I was in town for the College World Series and did not pack for a very cool night as all my shirts were short sleeves. The only thing I had with long sleeves was my hoodie and they still allowed me in with this very casual appearance, which I so grateful for. First, the restaurant had top notch service. Very friendly and attentive. For dinner we had: calamari, chop house salad, sea bass, bone in fillet, spinach, potatoes, risotto, and the crème brûlée cheesecake. Some of it was excellent like the cheesecake and, the au gratin potatoes. The filet was good, but not up to par with other restaurants like this one. I've had much better steaks at Flemmings. I'm used to these types of restaurants having piping hot steak on a hot plate and this one was just normal. It wasn't buttery tender like I'd expect from the quality of beef that should have been served here. The sea bass had a fishy taste to it. It was cooked well and the toppings were good, but I've had better quality sea bass at Bonefish. Overall, good seasonings, but way overpriced for the quality of the meats. This was my first trip to Mahogany and I am underwhelmed. At this price point there won't be a second trip there. read more

She treated me and a friend to a dinner. I chose the chef's choice filet mignon which comes with a side of the mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked just as I asked, very tender, and delicious. My friend ordered salmon which she said was great. We both had a house salad and enjoyed a side of the corn. She also had a baked potato. Every thing was delicious. Our servers were very attentive, and I think every employee wished me a happy birthday. Because it was my birthday, I walked out with a box with four pieces of candy in it, and both of us will eat tomorrow on our leftovers, plus we each ordered a dessert to take home. -- I sampled mine when I got home, and it, too, a very rich chocolate cake, was delicious. The decor is very nice. They have several tables situated in alcoves which would be nice for a little more privacy. We arrived when it opened at 5:00 and were easily able to carry on our conversation. As more and more people arrived, the noise increased accordingly, but we were still able to hear each other. This new location seems more intimate and private compared to the open seating area of the last location. Yelp reviews were mixed which surprised me. Reservations are always recommended before you decide to dine here. Seating and service was automatic. I already had an idea of what to order. I really enjoy the sourdough roll that comes out very hot along with the whipped butter in individual cups. The calamari comes with a tasty mango style sauce as the main appetizer. The only issue I can come up with is the time lag between the appetizer and the main meal. The good news is that the entrees do come out piping hot and they have you check your steak to make sure it was cooked correctly to your satisfaction. Dessert was ordered to go.
