We were so glad that they have Senior small menu! My 1/4 dark meat chicken with broccoli was ok but way too soft; my husband enjoyed his fried steak with baked beans. Chicken was well roasted; steak was crispy and the gravy was delicious. The young server was nice and friendly. But she did not know any beer from local and did not know about fried steak neither. But she cared about our food also drinks. I have to mention that another young server who was putting her leg on the sofa while she was talking to a customer We think this is a bad manners. People there we saw were mostly happy and enjoyed food and conversations. Nice cozy place for everyone and so close to our hotel Comfort Inn and Suite.

Half rack ribs, broccoli, russet potatoe, and toast.

I ordered takeout at 8:40 PM (about 20 minutes before closing). The order was ready promptly at 8:52 PM and the transaction was fast and easy. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of my experience. I ordered half rack of ribs, sweet potatoes, and broccoli. Instead of sweet potatoes I was served russet potatoes, which ended up being the best part of the meal. The broccoli was overcooked (soggy and soft), the toast was soggy as well, which could happen due to the 10 minute drive back to the hotel, and the ribs were underwhelming. Primarily because the "spicy" sauce was: 1. Not spicy at all 2. Provided separate of the ribs (normally one expects the sauce to have been applied to the meat and heated to allow the flavor to permeate the meat. Not in this case!) 3. The sauce tasted like it was purchased from the local supermarket and was of the budget variety. The appearance of the building was reminiscent of a Texas roadhouse and really got my hopes up. Unfortunately the meal was far from satisfactory. I don't see myself going back.

Big food! Like, large quantities of food. I was recently in the area for business, and I stayed in LaVale for the first time. This restaurant was in walking distance of my hotel, so I decided to give it a shot. Let's talk decor first - it's comfy, with both indoor and outdoor dining options. There are TVs in several locations. There is also a large bar, with many beers and hard liquor. Wine choices are sad. Sutter Home in individual bottles. Not a winner in that regard. I ordered a cup of the cream of crab soup and a chicken quesadilla. The quesadilla came with two sides- that was unexpected. I chose a side salad and broccoli with cheese sauce. The soup - kind of disappointing. It had odd lumps, I think from an undercooked / undermixed roux. Not really super flavorful- definitely needed more seasoning. The salad was good -no disappointment with the veg at all. I had to take the rest of the food back to my room, as I was really full. This restaurant is completely prepped for to-go food, which is great! Paying was awkward. The ticket is brought to your table, but you pay at the bar. And I waited for a few minutes before someone finally came to let me pay. Totally weird situation. A few hours later, I tried the quesadilla and broccoli. The chicken was great, but the outside of the quesadilla had a super salty garlic seasoning on the outside. I could literally feel myself swelling with a single bite. I paid extra for the guacamole that was really bad, but the "salsa" was Pace Picante sauce. Not a winner, which was pretty bad. The broccoli wasn't terrific either. The cheese sauce was that orangy yellow sauce that isn't really great. Oh well. At least the salad was a winner. Don't think I'll return to this restaurant again, but it is a local, non-chain place that deserves business. I guess you just have to find something that tastes good.

I had a great experience with them this week and I had a a wonderful experience with them. My family also really enjoyed their food and service as well this week. We think we will be going back again if we can; the location is a good distance away from where we live as we have been doing some traveling the past few days.

We just left the restaurant. I will say it is expensive. We paid $10 for 3 pepsis and a 7 ounce steak is $30!!! The food was also very bland. It wasn't worth the money, nothing special about it. The service wasn't that great either we waited for a while for our food and there were only 2 other tables in the entire restaurant. All the servers were just sitting there talking in the lobby while we were trying to get our server. I will say they are nice but at the end when we went to checkout we weren't told that we had to go to the counter to check out. So we sat there for 15 minutes waiting for our server, until another customer told us. In the end, you're better off going to the actual Texas Roadhouse, less expensive, better service and better food.

If you're in Lavale and you are craving steak, this is your best option. You get a good meal for a good price.

We came in to get drinks to go with our food (we got food from the food truck outside "Firebox"). The food from Firebox was good and it was a generous portion for the price. The drink options that were not beer were limited, and half of those options on the menu weren't available. My partner got the berry chocolate stout and said it was "pretty good". We hoped to sit outside, but the only available table had broken glass all over it from a busted door. It does have convenient parking and I liked the industrial decor. The service was good and the lady was very nice. One thing I will point out is that one of our glasses had pink lipstick on it from a previous customer. But if you only want beer and a place to chill - it might be just right for you.

I also appreciate the ample outdoor seating available. Always a big plus for me, even if the outdoor area is really just tables set up on the sidewalk overlooking the parking lot - as it is in this case. The service was fine. It wasn't crazy busy there but the bartender had a little edge to her like we were more on an annoyance than a patron. They have a refill club where you can buy a mug and get your name printed on it with discounted refills. Again I appreciate that kind of thing, but the bartender seemed way more interested in some of the regulars than us. Just the vibe she gave off that night I guess. And lastly the beer...it's solid. Not great, but solid. Lots of darker beers which is fine for me personally, but the darks outnumbered the IPAs, pilsners, etc the night we were there. I'd expect a little more variety. Still, it's good enough that I'd go back next time I'm in Cumberland, but not so good that I'd make a special trip out of my way. My scale: 1 - Just don't 2 - You'll survive, but there are better choices close by 3 - Good choice if you're in the area 4 - I'd drive up to 30 minutes just to come here 5 - I'd try to convince my wife to drive an hour just to come here

Our waitress was friendly and attentive throughout our time there. We started out with the buffalo chicken dip with tortilla chips. The dip was good, but the stand out was the chips! They were light and crispy with just the right amount of salt. Two of us ordered the loaded Patrick's bowl with mashed potatoes, fried chicken, chicken gravy and corn. It was pretty bad. The chicken was overcooked and really tough to eat. The potatoes were super thin, runny, and most likely an instant potato mix. I was definitely expecting more and was disappointed by the dish. Maybe they were having an off day? The restaurant was really busy so maybe we just ordered the wrong thing. I would give it another shot.

We even got to meet the owner who was working behind the bar. Ambiance is cool. They have a little shop area that you can buy local art work, soaps, and jewelry. They have a sitting area with just couches and a table. There are various board games you can play. There are different types of seating. You can sit at the bar, high top bench area, normal dining area with chairs, or sit in front of the ramen bar and watch her chef it up! The food was ok. I give this a 5 star review because my partner was obsessed with the ramen bowl and the sushi (i didn't get a picture of the sushi unfortunately). The corn dip was great. It had a lot of flavor but i will say, the portion size was off. Not happy about how little dip we got. There were tons of left over chips. The chips tasted like they were made in house. The old fashioned was great. We opted for the in house bourbon. The espresso martini was a disappointment. The size of this was very small for the price. I even asked the owner about this, and he informed me it was an illusion based on the shape of the glass. I don't believe that because i was barely buzzed. It also didn't come with a rim like stated in the drink description. The India power bowl was also a huge let down. I opted for quinoa. The butter chicken, chickpeas, and quinoa were super dry. Not very impressed. It didn't have much Indian spice flavor. Best to stick to the sushi and the ramen bowl.
