We got there and it took 45 minutes for them to give us the menu, then it took another 45 minutes to make our food. If it was only okay food then I would give it a one star. The Balcony is a great comfort food spot with a casual atmosphere. A bar (I did hear a few expletives spoken loudly from a table nearby) adjoins with the dining room, so this is a spot more along the line of adult dining. The service is excellent, kind and friendly staff are there with a smile to give recommendations on menu items. The fish and chips and burgers are excellent. And (as pictured) the appetizers and side salads are generous. Getting fries? Try the hand-cut. Old fashioned and spectacular, they are! Stopped for lunch on a weekday. We were one of the first and only tables here so we received full attention from the waitress/bartender. Nice lady - took our drink order and we looked over the menu. They have plenty of options from traditional bar food to some different entrees - but with it being lunch on a weekday I decided for something more standard. Ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap with sweet hot as my tender sauce, and Mac and cheese as my side dish. The food came out somewhat quickly. The wrap however was very sparse in terms of the amount of chicken in it - I would say between the two halves of the wrap there may have been one? tender cut up. The sweet hot sauce was good - more on the sweet side but good. The mac and cheese side came in a very large bowl by side standards - and on first first I figured it would be a white cheese stronger flavor. However - the cheese didn't really have any flavor at all. I usually polish anything out in front of me, but found that this needed some sort of seasoning and or cheese flavoring. Could have been a bad batch and not their usual output. Service was good, food was ok. Would try again - definitely worth a trip. Just would like to see more in the wrap and flavor in the cheese. read more

Stopped here on a work trip trying to stick to someplace local. I would say its probably a bit nicer when you can sit outside on the large balcony (get it?) and enjoy the weather, but today was not that day. Was pretty empty other than a few regulars, and its set up more like a local kinda place. Lots of string lites on the ceiling, nothing fancy. And thats alright, just don't expect a cozy feel. Waitress came right over took the orders, and was very friendly. But took a long time to get the food, and when it showed up was just alright. Fries were pretty greasy, sandwich was pretty alright. If I come back through town, I wont go back, but you could also do worse. read more

There was a catered event in the clubhouse with a seafood buffet. It was excellent. The bacon wrapped scallops were delicious as well as the stuffed shrimp and cod nuggets. There was a chocolate fountain and the desserts were fantastic! This is the perfect place for an event. read more

This a very small space and perfect for an all occasion party but not for a band, dancing AND a party which is when I was there. Service was terrible and more servers should have been on board. Ample parking and drinks were reasonably priced. read more

A local bar and low-key restaurant with bar. Sandwiches, salads, appetizers and burgers. Tuesday night is taco night. Nothing fancy, just the basics with very nice owners and servers. A long, covered balcony area for seating as well. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! We order an over priced steak dinner that was ok at best. I ordered a cup of coffee which they did not serve. I never ever went anywhere that didn't serve coffee, really???? We called and made reservations and were told they didn't start the band until 8pm, wrong. The band started at 7:10 and management brushed it off as a sound check disturbing our over priced dinner. Prior to that the music was so loud we had to ask them to turn it down twice because I could not have a conversation with my boyfriend. Even the table next to us were not happy at all. The only good thing about our experience was our sweetheart of a waitress. If you want a very bad experience with lousy food then this is your place. read more

Stop for lunch and was the worst meal ever. Got the fish sandwich and it was dry and burnt at the ends. It was like they put it in the microwave and just heated it up. My husband is a vegan so he had to get a grill cheese sandwich. Two slices of bread and one slice of cheese. Never again. read more

Love the hood drinks @ great prices. Food is very good. live music days and special events are worth the visit.

The bar itself is okay and the food is edible, but Gretchen is the absolute worst bartender ever. She is incredibly rude, selfish, and unprofessional. I won't be back until she is fired. read more
