Chances are you're gonna find yourself here for pre/post-game of any event at Globe Life Field, mainly when the Rangers play. That's what happened to my friend and I each time we're at the baseball game. There's plenty of bars and eating options here so you can get your drink/eat on before and after the field festivities. The Shift Arena area also contains several large tvs to track other sporting events. I get casino vibes from this place due to the bright screens and layout of the area with all the eating/drinking options. Too bad the state won't legalize gambling to make this happen but if/when they do, I know this venue is ripe for conversion to that format. While there is a cooler climate inside, it gets LOUD with the music blaring and the amounts of people that can pack this place. Fortunately there is outside space with seating and a couple bars outside when the noise is overwhelming.
Texas Live excessive pricing is mind blowing.. Charging between $500 and $700 for a table to watch a single World Cup match, while requiring guests to leave after only 90 minutes. The level of customer service is disappointing. Communication is a nightmare.. they do not answer phone calls, respond to emails, or reply to messages. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. I wish I could give them 0 Stars .. Awful experience, they will probably run out of business managing this place this bad They told us, you can stay in the venue, get up and find another place to watch the game
I was here for the Cotton Bowl and came to check out Texas Live the day before. With all the pre-game events, there were alot of people, but it was comfortable. It's a really big place with HUGE TV Screens, numerous places to get food and several bars. It was really fun and we really enjoyed the live band playing. We only had drinks this night, but service from the bar was good. After our University of Miami win, we decided to celebrate and ring in the New Year at Texas Live. BIG MISTAKE!!! Lines for days to get food, but the worse is how incredibly crowded it was. It did not feel safe and I wondered if someone was keeping track of capacity or were they just letting everyone in as long as they paid?? People in front of me, behind me, beside me, ugh...this was not fun, so we left minutes after midnight. So that was my Texas Live experience. One day I loved it, the next day I hated it!! **The photos are from the day before the Cotton Bowl and NYE, when we had a great time.
So I have actually only been to Texas Live twice when it was the functional bar. However, I have been to Texas Live as a location that supports a charitable organization, called Tango charities many times over the last 5 years. This time was to support the 2K feed the city event. They opened the doors at 3:30am for us, they allowed us to make over fifty thousand snack boxes to give to the hungry in their establishment and allowed us to hold a concert there until 1pm. I could not let the opportunity pass to give them a shout out on yelp. Because I appreciate how much they give back to the community. As a customer, I appreciate that they offer multiple kinds of food, multiple drink options and have plenty of parking.
Texas Live! is always super fun to hang at for events and other activities! I've been a few times now for various events, the most recent being the Love Island Finale watch party they were throwing at Texas Live! this past summer! It's a really open, expansive, spacious set-up inside, and also plenty outside to enjoy, including a few outdoor bars - complete with an absolutely GORGEOUS view of the Dallas Cowboys AT&T Stadium. Unlike some other venues that are similar in scope to this, the food and service always seems to be ON POINT at the various options throughout - quick, friendly, and helpful staff offering up delicious food. And yes, it's a bit pricey...but that's to be expected at a venue such as this, and they also do have some options such as weekday Happy Hours that will bring down the prices a bit. All that being said, this is a really solid venue to hang at for not just sports, but other events and activities that are held here throughout the year! I'd definitely recommend going if it has something happening you'd be interested in!
Texas Live is located in Arlington, Texas adjacent to Globe life Field offering the community food, drinks and entertainment in a place like no other! Inside is spacious and packed with TVs playing sports all throughout the venue. There is restaurants inside that serve food and drinks and not to mention almost all or many have awesome happy hour specials. This is the place to be during game days rooting for the Texas Rangers or America's Team the Dallas Cowboys. They also have many official Dallas Stars watch parties where they have raffles for jerseys, signed items, and hockey memorabilia. The ice girls even show up and make appearances and dance on the massive stage the venue has. As for the parking during game days it will cost money but during non-game days parking is usually free. The venue is 2 story's offering restaurants on the upper level as well as the main floor. They even have a mechanical bull to ride inside that is always fun to watch or even partake. The restrooms are always clean and spacious while the staff provides amazing customer service to their patrons. They even have a couple of patios where they have bars and tables to sit at to catch the great Texas sunset. All around the venue you are allowed to bring your drinks with you as well as when your outside. Texas live is right next to the Arlington Convention center and Globe life Field, Choctaw Stadium and AT&T. They also have luxury apartments near too as well as hotels. For the most part every time the Rangers play you can catch me inside enjoying some great Happy hour while catching up on sports and of course rooting for my Texas Rangers!
Guess everything really is bigger in Texas. I was blown away by how massive the screens are here. Like floor to story ceiling high. There's not a bad view anywhere, upstairs or downstairs. Food was good, service good, shopping nearby, unique retail. Why would anyone go elsewhere to watch the game??
Texas Live continues to be an establishment I only visit after attending an event at Globe Life Field. I would never go there to go there. I did notice there was a group being seated for a private party. I think a private party with friends could make the experience fun. I wanted to hit up the bar after a Texas Rangers game, but it was total chaos. I decided to go elsewhere for drinks. Not sure about customer service, but it looked like people would be waiting for food and beverages for a while.
This place is huge...3 stories plus plenty of outside seating in front and back. Lots of places to eat. Most of the tables downstairs were reserved for people watching the game inside. My group went stairs and found tables. It was like 15 of us. I ordered mahi mahi tacos...they were good. There was a guy walking around with shots in syringes. We all got one.
We came to Texas Live for some Pregame action. During game days there is a cover charge. This place is huge. You can get drinks and food, with all the people you would think the wait time would be ridiculous, but that's not the case. Seating can be tricky though. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, and service.
Was kind a dead there for a Sunday night surprisingly. I appreciate the effort put in for holiday festivities. There's a pop up Christkindl Market right outside. Very small with just local offerings. It's supposed to be a cosplays of the famous German markets but there wasn't much to offer. I think sausages was the only German thing I saw. Inside there's a Miracle pop up Christmas bar which is decorated super cute with all the Christmas decor! They had the typical Christmas themed drinks. But the service was very slow and the food offerings were subpar at best.

I really enjoyed coming here pre-game. There are TVs everywhere and multiple games being played on the TVs. I would've given this a 5 -star but there was a $10 cover and you needed to make reservations to sit inside. This wasn't spelled out when we purchased our tickets. We bought grilled sausages that were tasty and were able to sit outside without a reservation. There were multiple places to get food but reservations were required at most of them. Lesson learned. The servers outside were good at their jobs. read more

Place sucks. Don't bother. Go to stockyards. Very expensive drinks. Asked for my friends ID he's (25 years old) and declined it since it had a shadow. Asked to call the police. He was given a free drink and asked to leave. read more

The best place to watch sports! Dozens of big screens , plenty of space and several bars under one roof. This area is a tourist attraction and I highly recommended if your visiting the Dallas or DFW area to come here and enjoy a nice outing with a fun ambiance . There an upstairs and downstairs area , resembling a mall but instead of shopping there's a different array of bars and billiards all with its own uniqueness. Cowboys games can get packed here so I'd advise to get here early unless you prefer to stand . I love the atmosphere here and the food is very underrated here as well! read more
So I was traveling through the Big D on my way back to El Paso (Ft Bliss), and had to stop by and see an old Army friend. I was staying at the Crowne Plaza, and he lives in the area, and it was Monday Night Football, so he suggested Texas Live! I've been to the Rangers park, I've been to a Cowboys game... I've even been to Six-Flags... but never have I been to Texas Live! This place was amazing. The amount of FOOD, SPORTS, and DRINKS this place has to offer is incredible. The location is spot on. The size and the "look and feel" is perfect. I totally had a blast watching MNF at Texas Live, had a few drinks and ate some decent food. Me and my buddy was able to catch up and just enjoy the evening. I can't imagine how crowded it gets in Cowboys game day though. But I'm sure I'll find out?! If ever I can't get tickets to a Cowboys game, I think a cool alternative would be to still come into town and watch the game here at Texas Live! I can imagine it's packed and they go hard on game day. If I lived in the area, I'd probably be here for UFC fights and NBA games. Cool place! Worth checking out! read more

Visited for a team lunch and it was overall a good experience. Typical sports bar/restaurant feel except it's HUGE as it's right next to the Rangers Stadium. We visited around 12:30pm on a Friday afternoon and we were able to be seated right away. I ordered a Blue Moon draft for my drink, and our boss got us nachos for the table. The nachos were pretty solid IMO, and it was a great appetizer to share! I ordered the caramelized onion burger with fries as it seemed like that was one of the more popular menu items. My food came out pretty quickly, and the menu did not lie - the burger was pretty solid. It was typical American bar food. Nothing too crazy, but it WAS good so I will leave it at 4 stars. It would have probably been 4.5 and I might have even thought about rounding up to 5 stars, but my coworker's order took about 55 minutes to come out. They said the kitchen was backed up, but everyone else got their food except his. Seemed like they just forgot to put in the order. But other than that, everything else was pretty great! read more

First time at Texas Live and from what I saw, this place rocks!! and as opening day gets closer and closer for the new baseball stadium it's ever going to get better and better. PBR is where we hung out on a Saturday night and that place is cool as heck. Decent dance floor, plenty of seating and an outdoor are with some decent views. There was also another club right outside of PBR downstairs that looked like they were having a rave or something like that. It was crazy!! Haven't tried the food or restaurants, just had drinks and they can be a bit pricey even for beer. I will be back for sure! read more

Recently turned 21, was accused of having a fake ID. Called the security and they still couldn't confirm my ID was real. They offered me a free drink but still kicked me out of their bar. Never come here. Worst place ever. Luckily my friend heroically threatened to have the police involved and they bowed down to us. Good place to watch sports though. read more

I've started a habit now of coming here before a Rangers game. I like to sit a the bar in the main area as you walk in. The bartenders have begun to remember me. I come in for a beer and shot. We always enjoy going to texas live. Especially during football season. Only thing is make sure you get there early because it gets packed, especially on home cowboys game days. Plenty of places to get food from and so many bars. Easiest way to describe it is it's a sports bar on crack lol read more

WOW. Mark this down. I'll admit I was wrong about what I thought about having a sports themed bar and restaurant mall/venue between the 2 massive stadiums in Arlington! I thought it was a silly idea and who would go??? Now that I've been there, I would! This is a really cool bar and massive multi-screen video display where part of it can slide up and open a stage for performers as all enjoy drinks, meals and sporting events being shown! It is beyond cool (Yes, I wanted to use other obscene words to exaggerate how cool!) WOW!! There are plenty of cool restaurants with different price points and fares plus ring side balcony seating up high! The center floor bar in front of the video screen has massive 8-10 person booths! Prices are absolutely worth it and reasonable depending on what you get! The performing act was a Beatles Tribute band for an hour before the Paul McCartney concert. Seeing the show, watching the Rangers play and keeping up with 2 other MLB games plus sport happenings was jaw droppingly amazing! This is the ultimate sports restaurant/bar! read more

I'm convinced the key here is to come on a non-game night - because as described before it's chaos on event nights. We had a great server Christin - she's awesome. Started with the Wings appetizer - came out quickly and very tasty. I had the avocado chicken sandwich - very good. Mrs. enjoyed the pulled pork BBQ sandwich. Sent back one luck-warm beer. Lol. Finally!! A great dinner visit to a Texas Live restaurant! read more

I cannot endorse this place. It's flashy and well maintained but I will NEVER return. I have very little tolerance and patience for places that discriminate. On the night of a women's Final Four they opted to show men's CBI and a random sports countdown show. When we asked why they wouldn't dedicate one screen to the women's game the staff shrugged and said women's sports are unimportant. I get it, women's sports have an uphill battle for market share. Yet, things like this is a big reason why women's sports struggle to gain market share. When you go to Texas Live, remember that a business' values are on display in how they prioritize things. read more
I think this place is a good, viable alternative to attending a live game for a Dallas team. Ticket prices were a little out of reach for the Stars playoff game last night, so we opted for Texas Live instead. I have to say I was pretty happy with that choice. The gigantic screen is a dream to watch sports on. Plus, the arena has the same airhorns, thematic lighting, and wraparound ribbons you'd see in any stadium. That made it feel like were almost there! But definitely in a more comfortable venue - it was nice to be in a cushy booth rather than squeezed into a tiny plastic chair at the arena. The venue is truly fantastic, with lots of restaurants and bars attached to or near the main arena venue. If you're a sports fan, it would be fun for a night out to bounce around the different bars. I think they're still having some growing pains. The food we had was not great. My burger was almost 100% a frozen Sysco patty and felt like a rock in my stomach. For a venue that appears as trendy as Texas Live, I feel like they can hire some chefs to cook a decent burger. After all, great food could be part of the appeal of heading here instead of the game itself. Unfortunately, they fell flat. And the nacho plate -- geeze. That thing is a monster, and could serve 6 people easily. Sadly they use the crappy nacho cheese on it, taking what could have been an amazing dish down about 3 notches. Also, they don't see to have the full venue staffed up yet. It's pretty sad to see such a giant, beautiful venue so...empty. I hope business picks up for them. For as much as we paid for drinks and food ($80 for two people), the quality should have been a lot better. If Arlington was closer to me, I'd probably come here more often. Definitely not for the food, more for the game experience. And as a heads up: you can reserve some of the preferred seating ahead of time if you call a day ahead. read more

So overall the environment here is real cool We're from Cali and we enjoyed it. They have a variety of places to eat. I do recommend you getting there early and expect at least an hr wait on a weekend. If your starving, that place isnt for you. Food is great and Miller Taverns' wings are amazing! And HUGE!! We went tonight prior to the baseball game and even though quite busy, they were very friendly. We ordered a couple appetizers and drinks and the food was excellent. I wanted to personally give a shout out to our server Molly. Super friendly, very personable and service was spot on. I know this industry can have its ups and downs, but more and more people need to go out of their way and really show appreciation to those around them. Parking cost on event nights? I saw that they charge for parking after 3pm on event days. Does anyone know how much they charge?
It ranges from $15-$30 per car. Texas Live doesn't own the parking lots. Depending on how close you get the cost rises towards the $30 fee... hope that helps.

Cover charge only for home games. Reservations are highly recommended.

We ubered there but here is plenty of parking available due to it being so near cowboys and rangers stadium.
