I have been hear twice now and have eaten at a couple of the places within Texas Live. The food is what you expect from a place that has multiple restaurants; it wasn't amazing but it was good. I am giving it a four star because even though the food wasn't amazing, the drinks and the atmosphere is awesome if you are into sports. I will definitely be going back and watching some more football games before football season is over. The service is good, everyone is friendly, and it's a great place to go when you are wanting that bar environment without the dirty environment. I may come back and update my review if any changes in the near future because it's a fairly new place. read more

Came here to pregame before the World Series and had a ton of fun. If you want to grab a table, I highly suggest making a reservation ahead of time bc they were completely booked. Maybe it's just during sporting events or on football Sundays, but there is a minimum you have to spend if you get a table. Our long high top for 6 was a $300 minimum and our friends round booth was a $500 minimum. We had a great time watching football here and will def come again next time we are in town. read more

Decent venue with a ton of bars and restaurants. It's a bit confusing figuring out where one place ends and the other begins or what staff belongs to which location. The Cowboy Bar was pretty fun...2 mechanical bulls (free), which is fun to watch people try their luck throughout the night. Their shots were way overpriced and TINY. Food throughout was pretty average. Nachos, pizza, wings, etc. It was cool for a night, but I won't make it a repeat destination. read more

Ok so, I was here during the weekend (10/13-10/14) and I must say that even though we have a similar place in Los Angeles, Texas Live was a great place to visit. Was here for a Cowboys home game and did some pre and post gaming here and it was awesome. They have huge screens you can see from just about anywhere in the seating area and they have a DJ that does raffles and keeps the crowds hyped which was cool. I was able to reserve a table for 6 hrs later after I visited in the morning which perfectly worked out and I was able to get seated as I was arriving after the game. The staff here was really helpful as well and attentive during our stay. If you are an out-of-towner I don't see how this is not a place you visit. I hope to catch another game soon and will definitely be back here. read more

This review is for the Cowboy Bar inside Texas Live since they don't have a separate Yelp page. I visited the Cowboy Bar during my weekend stay at Live By Loews (amazing hotel! Highly recommended!) Cowboy Bar was great, definitely has a honky tonk feel but more urban. They play top 40 as well not just country. You can also try to ride the mechanical bulls (they have 2 on each end), or just sit back with a beer and watch those who dare. Hilarious and entertaining. Drinks were great, the crowd was great, and the bartenders were awesome. Turned out to be one of my favorite spots out of all the multiple bars at the Texas Live complex. I felt right at home! OMG my new favorite place! This shopping mall of restaurant and bars makes me want to come to Dallas more often! Absolutely love the atmosphere of this place. I have been on a Saturday night and partied all night long and I have been on a Sunday for some football and it was super relaxing. I had the nachos which could have fed a family of 4 but they were super delicious and full of flavor. The margs are huge and only $6 on Sunday's. With COVID they are having you seated right when you walk in but it's still worth going to check out even for a couple of hours. A huge plus is there is a game room for anyone with kids so it can keep your children occupied while you have fun yourself! read more

I was really on the fence with this one. ..For better or for worse we all know how Cowboy fans can be. One thing's for sure, they know how to party before AND after the game. I wasn't fortunate enough to make my way to the tailgate area, but Texas Live is the next best thing. There are decent bars, tons of TVs and restaurants as good as Lockhart's and as terrible as Guy Fieri's tacos. It's loud music and a fun party atmosphere. This review is strictly for my experience on game day. My family reserved a 6 top and 8 top table on October 4th, to watch the Cowboys play. My cousin went through the booking and it seemed pretty easy and straight forward. The day of the event, there were no issues to get to our table or be served. In fact, our servers took our drink orders as soon as we sat down and the first round was brought out soon after. The deduction of stars is primarily for the food. It was very disappointing considering where we were and the price tags. I ordered chicken strips and those were absolutely disappointing. The batter came right off the chicken when I tried ripping it. They were also a bit burnt and the fries tasted old. My fiancé ordered a burger that was super dry. My friends ordered their chili cheese tots that were okay. They tasted old and chili was bland. My cousin ordered their chicken fried steak and it was a huge portion but the chicken was very dry. We ordered their nachos too and that was probably the best item. The portion was HUGE. Perfect for game day, just wish there were more toppings and cheese. Towards the end of the game, we ordered their wings and rose were great! The sizes were above average and flavors were on point. They were also very crunchy without being over cooked! Drinks were all tasty and I guess the prices weren't that bad... During the day, the bars upstairs aren't open unfortunately. I was a bit bummed since I was visiting from California and wanted to get our party into the PBR bar to ride the bull. Hehehe, but it's okay next time! If you do get a reserved table during game day, there is a spending limit...tbh just be smart about what you spend on cause their food was not worth it! read more

Sorry it took so long to write this, but I just got back home in Seattle and wanted to let everyone know that works at Texas Live what a great time I had during my visit last weekend for the Army-Air Force football game. During my visit I had a major mishap when I lost my wallet with all ID's & credit cards. I retraced my steps over and over again, but no luck. With the help of one person in particular Alexis Allen, of Lockhart BBQ, Texas Live security & even the Arlington PD. My wallet was found and recovered, It saved my trip. I don't know who found it and turned it in but thank you and thanks to the staff and TEXAS LIVE!!!! BTW the food & drinks were AWESOME. Don't go here to watch UFC fights! We went once to watch a college football game & the atmosphere was great. So after checking the website, we drove an hour+ thinking it would be awesome to catch the UFC fights on that GIANT screen! We arrived and the employees were all clueless. It took us 30 minutes of walking around, being led to the wrong tables, ect to finally sort things out. We were very disappointed to learn that they don't even show the fights in the main area (much less on the big screen). The fights are relegated to an upstairs bar that's frankly not even as good as Buffalo Wild Wings or Twin Peaks. They didn't even have table service for food or drinks. We had to hike downstairs to get food & run to the bar between fights for drinks. They even played music over the prelims. This place has potential for EPIC events, too bad they don't know how to manage the opportunity. read more

What you've got here is a Texas sized bar next door to the local stadiums. This place is grand. They have a hidden stage behind the wall of TV's behind the bar for added entertainment. The seating is well arranged. The staff is pretty cool. You can buy a beer glass to bring back for a discounted refill. The food is decent. At least 1 person in your group should try the BBQ sundae. I enjoyed one. It gets swollen packed on game days like on Thanksgiving when the Raiders beat the Cowboys. read more

We came here for the Arlington Wing Festival, which we thought was a total bust. There were very few wing vendors, and they were all outside. There was no place to sit because most of the tables had been reserved. If you're going to have an event that people pay $15 to get into, don't have all the tables reserved for football watchers. I came with a friend for an event. It was run by Texas Live and dubbed a Harry Potter bar crawl. You pay for a ticket, get a souvenir cup and t-shirt, drink specials and HP shenanigans. We checked in and were informed this is not a group activity, they have you a map to the locations participating, and you went on your own way. That really kind of takes the fun out of a bar crawl. They had fake HP decorations put up, the themed drinks, other than the name, had no connection to the theme and were terrible, and the souvenir cup and t-shirt were plain back with a Texas live logo. Lame. I understand that they need a draw to get people in on non game days, but maybe you should let someone who actually knows something about your theme, plan it. Our first drink was a "butter beer", very popular in HP, traditionally a non alcoholic beverage and a favorite at the HP theme parks. There are also tons of delicious recipes for a cocktail version, on the internet. Texas live offering was a pumpkin beer. And we had to ask several people what it was, because even the servers didn't know. How about a blue long island? That sounds like Harry Potter, right? They were disappointing. We also tried a rum, pineapple, and amaretto concoction before we had had enough. It was a big pass on the whiskey and monster combo, so we just left. As for the venue, there are food stalls and a few sit down restaurants that encompass a large bar area with TV's and a small stage. I didn't realize until my friend pointed it out, but it really has the feeling of hanging out at the airport. They also have a big stage outside, but on the Friday night we were there the place was pretty empty and it didn't come across as impressive. We also went out on a patio for my friend to smoke, and got locked out. We had to bang on the window for someone to let us in. It was a weird night. All that being said, I will say that the service at all the places we stopped at, was really good. I can see it being kind of fun when there is a big game on. I will definitely not be drawn in again for one of their "events" but when the weather is cooler I could see going for a small concert. read more
