Its a large, new facility, and overstaffed (probably because it was designed by hospital administrators). This means there is seldom a wait, unlike many places that take the AARP Medicare Advantage Plan. My primary doctor is Lauri Ballard, MD, a young lady specializing in geriatrics and Board Certified in Internal Medicine. She is personable, pleasant, and has time to spend if you need it. Adrian, her Nurse Practitioner, is experienced and handled a complex visit that still only needed her skills with efficiency. Christina and Emily (the Clinic Director) are knowledgeable on insurance and helped me with a small problem with the Advantage Plan. The staff and medical assistants are pleasant and not overworked.

There was a small delay in seeing the doctor, however, I appropriate a doctor that gives her time to her patients. I may be the patient in the need of extra care some day. Dr. Kreider was very genuine in her concern for my health. She was very thorough and I appreciate her approach to asking me questions. She is an…read moreInternal Medicine specialist and pays particular attention to life issues: blood pressure, heart, lungs, cholesterol, weight, etc. She's not necessarily the person to see when you have a sinus infection, upper respiratory infection, the flu, or a simple rash. For these things I go to a stand-alone clinic like Care Now. She's too hard to get in to see for something that requires immediate attention, but she's great if you have a chronic condition or as I said a life issue. She is fanatical about being on time. She sees you on time and expects you to be on time. This is most rare in a physician. As I said, she's all business and does NOT have a warm-fuzzy bedside manner, but I'd rather have someone like that who knows her stuff and isn't afraid to follow-through on things, and get to the bottom of an issue. Their office is next door to the hospital and convenient for tests, etc. It's part of a very large group practice with offices all over north Texas. I've used her for about 10 years and have no complaints. I recommend her if you're looking for a serious physician.

Every time I walk in I am greeted by the staff at the front desk. I love how they decorate the lobby according to what holiday is coming up. Puts a little smile on my face to see those personal touches. I am not kept waiting for longer than maybe 20 minutes most of the time I visit. The lobby and patient rooms are always clean and tidy. The restrooms inside the office is well decorated to make it not feel like a 'gloomy doctor office' (if that makes sense). Anytime I ask her a question or concern I have she always has the right answer to it and makes me feel at peace. She has recommended other doctors or services if I am in need of something she does not cover. She is great and friendly but I just wish our visits were a little longer to talk to her more. My visits and talks with her always feel like they are too short. If you are thinking of setting an appointment the number will direct you to the general hospital network and from there they filter to the people as needed.
