Came by to get imaging done due to a hernia and the doctor wanted additional scans done. I waited a few days for them to call and set up an appointment. When they called, they let me know what my portion of payment would be after running my insurance benefits. So no problem...I head to my appointment and they tell me a different amount and ask me for payment. The amount was roughly 4x the quoted amount on the phone. Then they tell me to just put a payment towards the amount and I'll owe the remaining balance. It didn't sit well with me, so I ended up going home without the additional imaging. Confused as why the price shifted from one day to the next, but it was not worth the time going there to figure out. I'll go elsewhere. read more

Was an excellent service, I had to do an MRI of both hips. I am claustrophobic, they let me know was going to be around 30 to 45 minutes. She talk to me during the test. I began to cough and the technician stop the MRI and brought me a cough candy so I can continue with the test. She was very professional respectful kind. This was my first-time in this location. I should have known when they were all too eager to get me in before the end of the year... I was a scheduled for a MRI and a mammogram. I asked what was my out of pocket expense because I have had to cancel appointments in the past with other imaging locations due to their lack of accepting my insurance. I was called 3 times prior to my appointment to answer multiple questions. I filled out the pre-appointment paperwork WELL before my appointment date. Day of appointment I am told there is a small "out of pocket expense" ... I am shown the breakout and I am told I owe $906! Then the office staff tries to push their financing plan on me. What a scam! I drove an hour to this particular location because they could get me in before the end of the year, now I know why. Companies that operate with a lack of transparency with financial matters will definitely do the same with matters of your health. read more

Polite and helpful front desk staff...X-ray technician came across like a bored high school dropout I visited this Touchstone location for the first time today, after my primary care physician ordered a chest X-ray for me yesterday. A friendly young staff member called me this morning to make sure I knew where they were and what their hours were. She was very helpful and spoke in a pleasant and professional manner. The same was true when I visited this afternoon and dealt with their front desk staff. The two young ladies who helped me were friendly, polite, and efficient. My impression of the place changed when the X-ray technician appeared. He entered the waiting room and called out my first name, even though I am 3 times his age. When we went to the procedure room and he looked over the form I had filled out, he couldn't seem to pronounce my doctor's name, even though it is a simple name with only 6 letters. Then he asked me for details about what had brought me there, even though my doctor had filled in a very precise and detailed order about what she wanted, and the clinical indicators that led to the request. I got the impression that the young man was unaware of any of this and was relying on me to supply him with the information to do his job. I actually asked him if he had seen my doctor's written order. As a senior, when I find myself being asked questions by medical staff that they ought to know already, it makes me feel that I am dealing with people who are mentally out to lunch. My impression was not helped by the fact that the young man had his hair pulled up his head in a topknot. It occurred to me to wonder if I was the victim of some college prank, where they just took some kid and put him in a technician's uniform and told him to pretend that he actually worked there. Perhaps this is just a condition of our modern age, but it certainly does not increase confidence that you are being treated by people who know what they are doing. read more

I've been here a few times for different types of imaging. The front office staff is always very friendly and professional. They are prompt in calling you to get your appointment scheduled and are flexible with your time. The office is nicely decorated and has a welcoming feel to it. The techs are knowledgeable and very personable. They make sure you are comfortable and that the process goes by as quick and efficient as possible. I have always had impeccable service at Touchstone Imaging. I have been there on many occasions over the last 16 years (previously it was Diagnostic Imaging). I do not remember the last time I had to wait for my services there. They have always been kind, professional, and timely. This time Beth performed the imaging for my mammogram. I do not recall this procedure ever being painless; however, this time there was no pain at all. I didn't know mammography could be painless. Thank you, Beth, for your gentleness. HOT TIP: 1st appointment of day will bring magic to your life through little yo no wait times. I interacted with 5 employees between the mammographer, the sonogram specialist, and front desk/ office staff. My appointment was at 8:15 AM. I got there early. They called me back EARLY. I had special diagnostic procedures that require extra stuff (& take longer). I never waited more that 2 min between anything! All 5 women were perfect in the execution of their roles. I can only assume this practice must be very selective in their hiring. Everyone was engaging, friendly, explained things clearly, and answered my questions thoroughly. I was done in a little over an hour-that included 3 diagnostic procedures, changing clothes, using the restroom, waiting for the radiologist to do initial review of images from procedures, asking questions & getting answers about insurance & possible cost beyond copay. I filled out surveys for everyone. I don't think I've ever experienced service where EVERYONE that I encountered executed their duties perfectly. It was so great I kept thinking that something was going to spoil it at any minute. But here I am sitting in my car in the parking lot. I'm going to drive REALLY carefully out of this parking lot since I probably jinxed myself with this review. read more

This is for the location off of Basswood. I've been going to this location for years and years for my mammograms. The staff is always very sweet and nice and the receptionist is always nice. So imagine my shock this go around when I'm trying to schedule a sonogram. I've been trying all week to schedule. First their systems down and instead of taking my name and number the little girl that answered the phone told me to call back and try again later. So this morning I called and I've got a lady that breathes heavy after each sentence like she has really being put out while getting my information. Then she tries to give me a 6:30 PM appointment and when I said that's too late, she again breathes heavy into the phone. I finally told her I don't feel good about how this whole thing is going so I guess I'll just skip having this test done. I don't know what happened to the nice lady that used to answer the phone every time I called. read more

I have had issues with this facility in the past. Touchstone on Basswood Blvd in Fort Worth, Tx. It is always with the front office. The back staff are great. I had an appointment at 1:45 today for a mammogram. I have waiting for months due to Covid so I wrote the time and date on my calender. I arrived at 1:40 and the lady at the front desk said you are 10 minutes late so you can either reschedule or wait. I told her my appointment was 1:45 and she argued that it was 1:30. When I asked how long she said I don't know. So she rescheduled me for July. I get home and called and ask for the office manager Salone and was put on hold and the girl came back on the phone and said I would have to talk with Donna. I asked her if Salone could call me back and she said NO you have to talk with Donna first that's how we do it here. I said good bye. read more

Have been there twice in the last year. First time no issues ( February 22). I had a back procedure in the summer and my surgeon wanted another MRI post procedure so i scheduled that plus a mammogram at the same time. I had to pay $150 co pay. I told tech that i would appreciate mammo results ASAP because of alot of family history of cancer. She said 3 days. So 2 weeks go by and i can't get any results. I was told it was probably ok since they didn't contact me! After i called and demanded results. I get a letter about 3 days later. Then to the MRI. I had in October 25 and they ran my check electronically the next day then i get bank statement for January and the ck they ran electronically in October was cashed on January 12 so i was double charged. I called billing and after the rep finally realized i had been double charged she said they would send a refund ck in 15 days! Takes one day to cash but 15 when they make a mistake. I called and requested copy of MRI taken in October so i could take to my dr. What they gave me was copy from February which was before procedure?! Bad customer service read more

Very nice staff. It had to have been n the 80s in there, seriously hot. The worst thing though were the paper pull over shirts I was given for a chest X-ray. Just a heads up, if you weigh more than 160, you're out of luck. They had nothing else but these paper shirts. So if you are a person of size, take something to wear. I went in for a MRI on my knee. They filed my two insurances backwards. They filed my secondary as my primary despite being a patient for at least 5 years or more. They also did not call to get pre-authorization which is pretty much standard practice. They billed me because of these mistakes and I was making regular payments when they turned me into a collection agency. If you use this facility do your due diligence and just don't assume they are handling your insurance correctly like I did and have in the past. I will not be using them again. The staff however is friendly and professional, but someone really dropped the ball for me. read more
