She seems to think that the cushion is the only issue here and has only addressed that issue when there is more to correct. These are the issues I have: 1. The cushion is lumpy, not firm as requested, and does not fit the frame because the frame was not adjusted to have the cushion slide back under it, as was discussed. I told her I wanted a "sturdy and firm" cushion and all I got was saggy and lumpy. Donna did say she would compromise though, she would make the cushion back into two cushions IF I would purchase 7 yards (at $50/yard), she would make my one cushion back into two. Why would I want two badly made cushions instead of one, and why would I have to cover the cost of their bad work? By the way, the cushion also hangs off the front of the sofa by 2 inches when it's pushed all the way back ( that needs to be done every time someone sits on the sofa) Another thing is the zipper is not in correctly, the material that covers it has two long sides instead of one long and one short so the long side can lay down. They now come together in a point which looks very odd, especially is you know anything about sewing. 2. The front part of the sofa has wood only on the lower half of the cushion with only foam supporting the top directly beneath the cushion. I had the sofa for two years prior to having it recovered and there was support under the cushion that was not just foam. When I discussed this with Donna, she told me that this was according to "industry standards" I was told "industry standards" was the lowest quality that businesses could produce. I also went to several furniture stores and could not find even one sofa without wood support directly under the cushion. Would you accept a sofa constructed like that at the cost of approximately $3300 or even pay another $350, which seemed to be her "plan" to cover the costs of corrections of only one issue? I have asked Donna to come out and look at my other sofa so she can see what I've been trying to tell her since the beginning of this ordeal. I was told she would not come out until we have "discussed" this over the phone. As long as this has been dragged out, if she were a good business person, she would accommodate this 72 year old woman and just come out. Since this may become a blog, check out my comments on Yelp and Google as well for any updates to whatever progress is made.
