Nothing more welcoming that a nice waitress face all over smily named Bailey, sooo professional too. The decor feels very real, you arrived to your destination: Texas. The prices are very welcoming too. I had 9 ounces of filet Mignone, over rice with 3 sides options amazing to me! Under $25.00. Food comes right out, I noticed it. The quality and flavors are top. It was the 5th of July 2025. The place was busy as it usually is. Not a bad thing as it shows its popularity. I enjoyed a beautifully prepared ribeye with the standard sides and drink. Rebeca (Becca as shown on her name tag) was courteous, professional and attentive which made the experience even more enjoyable. Steak was good, just that it's insulting to get the small 5oz steak and be told it is the 11oz that I ordered. Especially so when you show the customer the cuts in the display case. Shrinkage on cooking doesn't render a 2to 1 ratio rectangular cut of meat into a small square. Just say'n. That's a crappy way to do your customers and doesn't really pass for legitimate steak house in Texas. Other than an insulting lack of integrity, the sirloin cut was a decent quality. I came in with a $50 gift card. I only got one appetizer which costs around $15, when I got my receipt back it had charged me the whole $50 and I asked for the manager. It's hard for me to give any place anything below a 4-star but Texas Roadhouse made that a difficult choice today. The waitress is the reason I decided to bump them up to a 2-star. She was very nice and attentive so we did appreciate how she serviced us. The vibe is the same in there everytime of course not much they can add to it. But the main issue was the manager usually after you dig into your food they'll come by and make sure everything was good. So when she had came by we told her our baked potato was a bit hard and that maybe it could've been cooked a little more. But she sarcastically said that we can get mashed potatoes instead. She also kept repeating it in a mockingly manner which we did not appreciate. Other people complained about their food not being cooked to their liking or how they ordered but did not say anything. Since that's how she was taking such manner and Texas Roadhouse is usually a consistent restaurant you can depend on a good time and meal being had. But that was not the case so if your food was not made to your liking just be careful on asking them to fix it since it was such a hassle. read more

It's a chain restaurant so it's not like it's anything *new* or *different* Traditionally when on vacation we try to stick with local/mom& pop type places but we happened to have a gift card so figured why not. I love Texas Roadhouse in general but sometimes the waits are long (no matter the location) and sometimes the food comes up short. That being said, I did an online order for pick up. Minus the not so great parking- yikes! The food was hot and ready on time to make grabbing the food a breeze. The order was 100% correct and tasted fresh/hot. A friend and I met up for lunch at this location on 01/19. The hostess who sat us was very friendly and polite. After we got sat, we waited at least 15-20 minutes for someone to get our drink orders. As we waited, many different servers walked by our table multiple times and saw that we had no drinks but did not stop to ask if we had been helped yet. We ended up having to ask a server that walked by to get us drinks. She ended up taking care of us the rest of the time we were there and she was very nice. We were annoyed because we were sat infront of the bar which had a lot is server foot traffic but nobody seemed to stop and ask if we had been helped. The server on our ticket was Savannah C. When I ever to come to Amarillo, I try to hit up this place. I realize there are places to get at steak and this is chain place. We have one where I live in the SF Bay Area. Also I don't eat a lot of meat anymore and I figure if I'm going to indulge this is the place to do it. This location is always busy, so do the text reservation ahead. My sister did that and when we got there and parked our table was just about ready. I don't drink much, but decided to have one on this occasion and went for the legend margarita which come with a shot (test tube) of tequila. I love the bread and their cinnamon butter that they bring to munch on before your dinner arrives. We all ordered the Texas Side Combos and I got the sirloin and grilled shrimp, with a side of sweet potatoes and buttered corn. What I love is that the wait staff confirm how you want your steak cooked have you cut in to your steak to make sure you are happy with how it is cooked. The food was great and I got my fill of red meat for a while. Hey it's not Ruth Chris, but I don't have Ruth Chris money, and i'm not always that bougie except maybe once a year. read more

We decided to visit Texas Roadhouse today around 1230. While the wait was a bit lengthy (50 mins) our group of 8 made the most of it enjoying the complementary peanut. Once seated we were waiting on by Kennedy. She was one of the most professional servers we have ever experienced. She was fun, friendly, attentive, and extremely accurate when it came to our order. We had a wonderful vacation in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah and Arizona, but were so glad to be back in the great state of Texas. My wife had the Dallas filet, 6 oz. medium rare with baked sweet potato and green beans. I had the Roadkill, medium with a baked potato and green beans. Both proteins were perfectly cooked and delicious as were the sides. Service was excellent. Ambiance and decor are pure Texas. We are from North Carolina and love TRH, so of course we stopped on our way home! I called ahead and was told the wait time was 60-70 minutes but it ended up being less which made us happy because we'd been driving a long time and still had 2 hours to go. Our server was Desiree and she was awesome! She kept our drinks filled, got our order correct, and brought plenty of rolls. Our food was delicious as always. The bathrooms were clean. The manager stopped by to make sure our food was good. We also appreciated that they aren't letting people wait inside sight now. I came by this place about an hour before closing on a Tuesday night. We are a table of 5 and we were sat pretty quickly despite it being really busy. I don't think they were doing the spacing out of seating as they were seating almost every table. They do require masks and offer sanitizer which is great though. Most of us ordered the 12oz ft worth rib eye and my sister ordered the shrimp. Each of those main dishes comes with 2 sides each and they were plenty for us. I had my ft worth rib eye medium and it was nice and light pink like I like. It was seasoned thoroughly and very juicy. I enjoyed my sides of mashed potatoes and seasoned corn. My sister ordered the shrimp and it was really good. The rice was a little too salty but other than that it was enjoyable. I came here after seeing an advertisement for their Wild West Wednesday steak special. The ad said $9.99 but when I got there it turned out it was $10.99. Still well worth it. If you hit during happy hour you can get an inexpensive drink to go with it also. I'm not sure about other Texas Roadhouse restaurants but the one here doesn't open until 4 p.m. on Wednesdays. If you don't want to wait, show up between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m., maybe even 6 p.m. . When I go in the evening there's usually a wait but it isn't very long, 15 minutes or less. The place is usually packed on Wednesday nights and for good reason. The steak special is delicious. You get an 8 oz steak with two sides of your choice plus they bring delicious soft rolls with cinnamon butter. It's so much food I usually bring half of it back for lunch the next day. My personal favorites are the sweet potato which is usually huge and tastes delicious even cold the next day, and the broccoli which they give you a good portion of. It is lightly steamed and still crunchy, not overcooked like some places. The service has always been good. Some servers are friendlier than others but they all do a good job. Most of the time my steak is cooked right but there were a couple times when it came out too medium and not red enough. The second time I sent it back which is something I just never do but the second steak was perfectly cooked. I would like to go back sometime and try their prime rib. The smaller portion is 14.99 which is not bad for prime rib. 5/13/18 I finally made it back for the prime rib on Mother's Day and boy was it delicious! I was going to get the 10 oz for $14.99 but then I saw that the 12 oz was only $2 more so I decided to get it so I'd have more leftovers. When it arrived it was so huge I was surprised. When I got the bill I discovered that I had ordered the 16oz by accident so it was $21.99 and worth every penny. I have enough leftovers for two more meals I think. I was sure that it was my fault because I know how my brain works. I probably saw the $16.99 and accidentally said 16 instead of 12. I checked with the waitress and she said she was sure I said 16. I told her I was perfectly happy with it. It was cooked perfectly and the knife just slid right through it. read more

This one is tough because we are HUGE fans of Texas Roadhouse and love to travel around and visit new ones and discover the stories behind the 4 murals that surround the bar because they always tell a local story. This one is particularly interesting and took us the longest to crack. But the service and quality at this location have disappointed us so many times I just can't give them a great review... my best advice here, go across the parking lot to their sister Bubba's 33... those folks care and work really hard to make your experience exceptional. We've become dedicated take-out people in the last few years. We adore Texas Roadhouse because the app for ordering ahead is solid, and we can always expect a reasonably priced, good quality steak dinner. The only reason our experience doesn't rate a full 5-star is that the online ordering platform has no good option for alerting the servers not to wait for the rolls. Now I admit the fresh, sweet bread makes a good dessert, but the steak gets cold waiting the 10-30 minutes for the rolls to go with it. Since the steak is the star and Raz despises it cold, we would really like to see a check-box in the ordering platform for "no bread." At 5-past my scheduled pick-up time today, I went to the pickup window to make sure I wasn't just waiting on bread. I was. The steaks were just barely warm enough to not need re-heating. I told the staff I didn't need the bread, and they let me have my steaks. I really don't understand why this is a continuous issue with Texas Roadhouse. The time for first available pick-up was 30 minutes after my order. That's enough time to bake biscuits from raw dough, so why is the steak on-hold for its warm-up act? read more
