It started off well. Then my salad was never brought out. The entrees arrived and I requested my salad. I was told I could get something else. I repeated I ordered a salad. While I wait for my salad, I start cutting my steak up. I trim the edges and eat, then I notice a dirty piece of paper under my steak. My husband brings this to the attention of the bartender. They shrug their shoulders, and they disappear into the kitchen. Then our waiter, Alex, comes out. He then says they can make another one. I said ok, let's make this right. My new steak comes out in record time; four minutes to be exact. The steak is paper thin, and cooked well-done. My original order was rare. Alex asks if I would like a refill. I say yes. I am diabetic and I get a battery acid sugar sweet tea. We flag him down, again. Explain I'm a diabetic and I cannot drink this. He then argues that what he gave me. I told him no that is sugar sweeten tea. He gave me several "I'm sorrys." I just suck it up and try to enjoy what little dinner I have left. Then my toddler, that has finished his dinner way before me, goes under the table and grabs the garbage build up throughout the day. He continues to throw it on the table. I don't understand some the negative reviews. I have been here several times and I used to work at the Texas Roadhouse in Union City, CA.I have always been ta fan of the Roadhouse. Great atmosphere, friendly people and great food and drinks. How can I forget free peanuts and the delicious bread and cinnamon butter. This is a great place to go for lunches and dinners (lunches only on weekends). Also, a great place to have a birthday as they get to sit on a saddle and be the center of attention. Probably the worst T.R. I've been to in the DE/PA area. The steaks are usually tough, and not prepared well. The staff is courteous, but the food is "eh". Also, I dislike how you have to drive around the back of the restaurant to get into the restaurant. I've eaten here more than once, and I've been let know quite a few times. read more

Told us "20 minute wait", then buzzer started going off the moment we sat down on the bench (seconds after receiving it!) Service and food was great! Prices fair. I usually have no problem with the food/service from here but when it comes to Togo orders it's much different. I placed a Togo order and when I got home there wasn't any of the condiments I ordered with the meal, I was missing sides and never received any rolls. I called and spoke to the "Togo manager" and she said she'd give me a couple dollars back for my order and I told her I didn't want that, I told her if they have a check list with likes they are supposed to mark off why wasn't anything marked off. I also stated I shouldn't have to go through each box in the parking lot when they have a check list to check and sign off. My food also wasn't the hottest as in it sat for a little bit before telling me it was ready. Like I said I've never had this problem inside it's just Togo orders are not always prepared how they should be which I think sometimes there tends to be too many hands in the pot. read more

We come here once or sometimes even twice a week. We absolutely love it. The food is always hot and fresh and everyone is so nice there. They always get our order right and they're really good about keeping up refills of drinks and rolls. We always come here for birthdays and other occasions too. This Texas Roadhouse location is great. I come here at least once a month as it is a little pricier but the quality of the food and service is worth splurging. I have yet in the past year going here had a bad experience and this past Friday when we went in was no different. It was crowded but we were seated upon entering. Our server was busy running around all night between tables but was still extremely attentive, checking if we needed things and not forgetting anything we did ask for. It does get a little loud in there but that is part of the atmosphere so expect it going in, other than that there are no downsides! read more

This place was BY FAR the greatest restaurant I have ever been to! Texax RoadHouse is like nothing I've ever attended. First walking in the door, there were people EVERYWHERE! Typically, an environment like that would overwhelm me. In this case, it was plain ol' FUN. Everyone was loud, happy, and VIBRANT. First entering the doorway I hear, "Yee Haw!" (it was someones birthday), they sure know how to make it family oriented. I told my boyfriend that I am looking forward to bringing my sisters to the RoadHouse a next upcoming birthday. My sisters are pretty shy (just like their big sis), but once again, like their big sis, they are pretty decent at sensing a good vibe-I'm sure they'll open up while at the RoadHouse. Anyway.................... You know how you sometimes have to wait 10 YEARS just to receive a single coke! Well, while retrieving my coke, my table was also packed with their DELICIOUS rolls, the best rolls I have ever had! They were extremely fresh! Which of course we could have just been the lucky ones to get a warm basket, but NOPE, as soon as ( I ) finished up the rolls there was another basket of fresh rolls placed on our table! These rolls had a hint of sweetness, and the butter they delivered with it looked odd-so i had my boyfriend try it first (I'm a very picky eater), he told me it was cinnamon butter (I jumped on that REAL fast!), fantastic! They were not only quick with the beverage, the basket of rolls, but also with my appetizer. My boyfriend and I had just enough amount of time to BS a little (I hate when I'm at a restaurant, trying to enjoy my time chit chatting, and continue getting interrupted a million of times by the waiter/waitress, trying to get an obvious "easy tip"!). By the time my meal arrived I was already half stuffed (I'm pretty good at packing it away for a female, so I wouldn't suggest anyone load up on the rolls like i did lol!). My dinner was great, and my mashed potatters where VERY yummy (homemade!). Also, my waiter was the biggest sweetheart. To top it off, the manager was going around checking up on everyone! We had the best customer service tonight! My husband's steak came and it was a little more done that he would have liked. We didn't complain or ask to send it back, but the waiter noticed that it wasn't right. Within minutes the manager came over and offered to bring out a new one. For my first taste I got a watered down raspberry tea vodka that was 80% ice, I could not even taste that it had alcohol and only lasted 3 drinks. They claimed that was their recipe. I was treated like a scumbag for trying to get a proper drink as they refused to replace it. Starter bread was soggy and a store rep picked up money we dropped claiming it was hers when we KNOW we dropped it. I will not eat here again or trust staff as they are an army of thieves and slackers. I made a yelp account just to say how HORRIBLE this experience was, and I love to eat out. Last night I ordered a loaded baked potato and toss salad with my steak! The steak was the only thing that was good. First, my lettuce was very brown and I showed it to the waitress, and she took away the brown pieces, I then seen her walking over to a manager shaking her head (I guess mocking me) telling the manager about the brown lettuce. She said sorry later on but never offered me a fresh salad. Then, the waitress came to me when my steak was done, that they didn't have any bake potatoes done. I really was looking forward to eating a baked potato with my steak. She then asked me if I wanted anything else. I told her I would take fries.. she immediately came back with my steak, no side, telling me if I wanted a potato it would take 20mins more. Why is it going to take 20mins more? My steak was already on the table.. I agreed to the fries and she still charged me for a loaded baked potato. This is the 2nd time that I've went around 8:30pm and was told they didn't have baked potatoes. I feel like, I was told this because It was later on in the evening and they didn't want to make more potatoes. I was very let down! Besides that, the steak was GREAT! read more

Our usual go to location! However last Saturday evening it was a huge disappointment! We chose our steaks upon arrival , our request was for a table not a booth when we booked our call ahead request, when we arrived we were quickly contacted to be seated however not at a table! I have back issues and booth seating is not a good option. I was told that it would be another 30 minutes for a table so I accepted the booth because I am diabetic and needed to eat soon!We were greeted quickly by our server Victoria and she was attentive and took our steak tickets and our request of how we preferred our steaks cooked! When we were served our steaks were burned to a char.. not edible ! The server Victoria immediately to replace them but being diabetic I had to eat.. so we kept my wifes steak as it was not completely destroyed... we split that one and eventually we go my recooked steak which I choose to bag and take home , Where was their quality control?Will be a long time before we decide to return as this left a bad taste in our mouths ! read more

The food is consistently great. However, you will need to go at an off time to be able to enjoy the experience. Even with the call ahead service, we've had to wait 30-40 minutes on top of our arrival time, due to the crowds. Granted, the restaurant cannot predict when people will finish up and be ready to leave. They often overstay their time, understandably, in order to socialize and converse (isn't that why we're at a restaurant and not a fast food or drive-through establishment?). That said, if you go at a busy time (like actual dinner time), this particular Texas Roadhouse is unusually chaotic and prone to issues. For instance, they allow crowds of people to collect around the bar area and overflow into dining space. We had a dozen bikers literally standing at our booth for the entire meal and could hear everything they were talking about while they guzzled their beers. Meanwhile the wait staff passed by every 10 or 20 seconds and had to beg *their* pardon to get through with people's orders. Even when the crowds are not at a peak level, the overall restaurant is ridiculously noisy and feels like they're rushing you out (because of the long lines to get in). So, if you can go eat at 3 in afternoon or some such off time, that will be your key to enjoying an experience here. 5 stars pretty much about sums this Texas Roadhouse up !!!!!!! We had been favoring another steakhouse and after some over cooked steaks decided to come back and we are glad we did. Tons of seating, adequate staffing, steaks cooked perfectly, and speedy service. Because it has such a large draw in the area, I'm sure if you arrived at peak times some waiting would be unavoidable, but we typically come off peak, and have never had issues. Surprisingly the fried pickle appetizer was actually very good. Overall the staff here is younger than in other steak houses, and occasionally it shows, but with that said, no complaints. It has RETURNED as our go to steak house. Now if we could just get them to serve some Wild West Shrimp, it would be complete. read more

I love the food, and spend a lot of money there. TAKE OUT ONLY. Even that doesn't go right. My only complaint is the staff has just been ridiculously rude, for example one time this child at the takeout desk was just making a personal call on the work phone for about ten minutes before she helped me, many times they didn't even put my order in or brought out the wrong stuff, thats just a few things that have just shocked me....I don't blame them these little girls look like they are 13. Management needs to keep them in check or hire a more mature professional staff. read more

The place was not very busy, with lots of empty tables, but I was still made to stand and wait several minutes before I was seated. I looked at the menu and then waited and waited. Several wait staff passed by but no one even acknowledged me, let alone offered to take my order. I waited over 10 minutes, then decided to give up. At the desk I asked to see the manager and was again made to wait several minutes. When the young lady finally arrived (she had no name tag, and did not introduce herself), I explained what happened and her response was "yes?" with a shrug of the shoulders. How awful. Went here a few years ago and the service was so bad, we never went back until recently. First time was just ok, but I hate the chaos in the atmosphere. Went again last night and confirmed why we never go there. I ordered a country fried steak and I couldn't cut it because it was all grizzle. I sent it back.
