Terrible service and attitude from both the server and manager when there were issues from the time we sat down from burnt rolls to trash in my sons mashed potatoes. We were not seated 6 ft away from 3 other tables and the server was not wearing her mask properly. Nothing was removed from our bill just discounts given for students and local heroes. There were other issues these are just the worst of them. I am very disappointed in not only the incidents with the food but also the lack of respect and concern that we enjoyed our dining experience. Terrible behavior from both management and the server. the food was ridiculous I ordered a porterhouse that was mostly fat and what wasn't fat was chewy , my guests ordered a steak that was supposed to be 6oz but came out looking like 1 oz they forgot some of the sides and toppings for steaks and to top it off the Mac and cheese that was ordered I'm pretty sure was easy Mac it should not have been served what so ever. My family & I visited this location on April 13th in which we done the call and wait since we were driving from Greenbrier county. We were told it would be an hour an 15 minutes to an hour & 30 min wait so we should of been seated by 7:07. We arrived a few minutes early but still waited until 7:28 to be seated. Once being seated we were set beside a table of 6, 3 boys that were atleast 16 years old that continued to scream being ignorant. When our waitress came to our table I told her we were ready to order also while she got our drink order which she seemed to not be very happy about. I was also very aggravated with the screaming behind us and I simply told her if the screaming continued we would like to be moved to another table, her response was once I get your orders I can check them out and they can leave. I had ordered a medium well and my mother had ordered a well done but not burnt steak and my father had ordered a burger. These were the 3 out of 5 orders we had a problem with. After waiting a good 30-45 minutes for our food to be done my steak was well done and very dry and my mothers was burnt crisp along with my fathers burger being burnt. After speaking with a manager he took my mothers back. I spoke with our waitress and told her mine was to done and dry & that my fathers was burnt and he didn't want anything to remove from bill. She stated she would get me a new one, in the mean while I continued to eat my potatoe, she shortly comes back and asked for the steak which I hadn't touched. I went to give it back to her and she told me to give her the whole plate... I then told her I was still eating my potatoe and she stated they'll bring you a new one. 30 minutes later our food comes out for the 2nd time, I cut into mine and at first seemed to be ok until I cut farther down and it was completely raw. I told the manager it was raw and he states here i'll get it cooked again.....uhm no I have waited long enough for a steak I've ordered twice. I told him no just take it off my bill. No sorrys nothing but here wait another 30 minutes for the steak you ordered well over an hour ago. My mothers was raw as well. Very disgusted with the whole experiance. Went in dec 26th evening. Absolutely the worst slowest service ever. Took over an hour just to get silverware. Usually good service here but not this evening. Multiple people in our section complained. Wait staff bringing food to the wrong table multiple times. We typically visit this restaurant once a month or so. Wont be back for a long time. Love this chain normally. The one in Morgantown and the one in Bridgeport are really good. Sadly the same cannot be said about this location. I want to preface by saying the waitress and the manager were very nice and after noticing all their mistakes they did comp 25% of the check (which I paid forward in my tip). The food quality here is just not up to the standard this chain usually has. The ribs were dry. The steaks overcooked (medium rare came out well done). It took over an hour to get our food and while business was brisk it wasn't ridiculously crowded. Maybe we caught them on a bad day. I've eating at a number of Texas Roadhouse's the very dissatisfied with the Beckley, WV restaurant. Took my family and mother for her birthday on July 15th. First it took an hour to get food and this was well before rush hour. When the food came out all the meal items for everyone was over cooked. We didn't want to wait additional time so only sent back sons since he wanted medium rare Which should be fast. The potatoes were cold and better would not melt on them. I left mine just setting since it was cold and tasted no good. All steaks like I said were cooked very done above all desires. My grille chicken breast was well over cooked, dark and dry. I did tell waitress when paying about how dry and over cooked meats were and how cold the baked potatoes were. She asked if we wanted a potatoe to go? DONE WITH THEM FOR GOOD. We went with family three times when they first opened a couple years ago and had MAJOR problems each time. This year we decided to give them another try and we've been three times so far. The first two were pretty good surprisingly but we ordered pick up last night and did not get any fries with the two orders that were supposed to have fries, plus a third side of fries. Also apparently they were out of salad dressings, and croutons, which are the best part of the salad. These salad problems we're not even mentioned until we were there to pick up the order and they were handing the bag over so we did not have a chance to order something else. When we got home with the order that is when we noticed the -no fries anywhere- problem so I called and spoke to a manager who sounded like a young lady but did not give her name. She was very rude and crass, and was blatantly acting like she doesn't care that we live almost an hour away round trip and did not get what we PAID for. She actually said "well you can just drive back here and pick them up if you want"! Really?? She then said she'll just send me an e-mail with "some sort of reimbursement" for not getting our stuff. I said to her that's the only feasible option and after the call she sent the email. It seemed like she really hates her job and takes it out on others. I checked the email and its a voucher for an appetizer on our NEXT VISIT..... So, you won't just credit me back the money I paid for the sides that I didn't get ($9.00) , AND your gonna try to con me into going and spending another $70-$100 there???? My boyfriend and I were in town visiting the New River Gorge State Park for the weekend and happened to dine in 2 nights in a row. Both nights we experienced great service from the staff including the manger (I presume) who came by all the tables checking on how our evening was going. This place is going down fast , servers have be awful lately and seem to be on something , very rude ! Management are on 3 different lanes, meaning one is not agreeing, saw 2 servers fussing at a side table or a table ppl can not sit at, they had no mask on and saw a server chewing food while fussing ! No dang gloves ! I took pictures of 4 employees with no mask n gloves and called the health department Friday over this with the pictures , saw the bartender take her mask n gloves off serving ppl! Are u serious ! We are trusting and believing in you guys to help make us want to come out by you doing what is ness for us to even want to come out , I am sharing this everywhere, we have to be safe n carful these day's , the hype is definitely slowing down about this place for sure , get it together, will post pictures of tables , bartender with the dark brown hair n servers but will block out the faces !
