Gnats! Looks

Gnats! Need I say more? Wash all veggies before when you get them in. Mix Vinegar, Soap and Water to kill the active Gnats and Keep the lids one the cinnamon butter. Landed on my Drink, Rolls, Steak Sauce bottle. Waitress told the manager and then brought me the Check with apologies and half of my meal untouched. I had to ask for the Manager and then she comped the meal after I pointed at a flying Gnat while she was at the table. I was not going to post anything but I would not want my family using that 57 bottle on their steak.

Sometimes this place totally pisses me off. If they advertise $5 beers everyday all day but then they run out I think they should switch to the next shittiiest Coors lite or miller lite only makes sense to me. Who do I think I am though the guest or something ?

Great service. Sat after 15 minutes with no reservation. Friendly staff. The manager visited the table to make sure every was good. Food was fresh and delicious. Gave extra bread for the road. Restaurant was very busy but was very clean and efficient.

Been to this specific restaurant about 5 times went on a Saturday late afternoon. Hit & miss generally speaking where either the service is poor or slow, or the meal is. In this case the meal. I ordered 20 ounce bone-in ribeye medium-well, they cooked it medium, tasty, but not the way I wanted it and I know when they take it back and I receive it back, it tends to be very tough so I ate it anyway. However, my wife ordered the 6 oz fillet, medium well, came to us medium rare, sent it back the first time, was still medium rare, so took it back a second time, still medium rare. Either they didn't cook it or they didn't do anything but shove it in a microwave. Yes, the manager comped the meal, but this does NOT fix the problem. Cooks can't cook a small steak. I filled out a complaint form for this location in Brighton, someone tried to call me after 10pm Eastern time. I called them back and they never responded, the person was a managing partner of the restaurant. This restaurant has been here well over two years, how they stay in business is beyond me. I will not return again. Service was fine. There are definitely better choices around town. Attached pics of steak after we sent it back twice, manager had the audacity to bring it to the table without even checking it visually.

Brought Dad here to celebrate his birthday. Went online and put myself in the wait-list. They do only save it for 15 minutes. When we arrived I checked in with the host but was told it would be 10-15. As we sat an time pressed on. 20 minutes passed and I asked about seating and mentioned the online reservation. We were quickly placed after that. Our waitress Aimee was knowledgeable and friendly. Jeff and I ordered the margarita and they were having a promotion that every dollar spent in margaritas would be matched and help go to breast cancer awareness. I had the sirloin steak, vegetables and side salad. Everything was prepared, made and rare perfect. My father and husbands meals were just as good. Never disappointed at a Texas Roadhouse. We did come at dinner rush so it was busy but they did a great job of moving everyone. Around. Plus they dang happy birthday to my Dad as well as gave him a card. Our hearts and bellies are full.

Country fried steak with mash in the background (a bit heavy on the gravy. Ask for it on the side)

The burger was way overseasoned (salty) and grease was dripping from it. Chef Ramsay would not be impressed. Everything else was fine.

Cold food and mediocre service. I complained about cold rolls and appetizers then the food came out cold.

Our server was polite but not friendly, and not particularly engaging or helpful. She did not explain the menu, mention any specials, or offer recommendations. For a restaurant that positions itself as a fine dining experience, we expected a higher level of service and attentiveness. We started with the Ahi Tuna appetizer. It was decent, but there was so much going on with the dish that the tuna itself seemed lost. For my entrée, I ordered the Braised Short Rib. It was absolutely delicious and was the highlight of the meal. However, it was served over a fried potato component that was extremely disappointing. It was overcooked, lacked flavor, and did not complement the dish at all. My boyfriend ordered the ribeye steak. He rarely orders steak at restaurants because he cooks excellent steaks at home, but he decided to try one at a restaurant known for fine dining. Unfortunately, the steak was the biggest disappointment of the evening. It was bland and lacked even basic seasoning. The menu states that the steaks are served with the restaurant's signature zip sauce, but none was served with his meal. For a $68 ribeye, we expected much more flavor and attention to detail. For the first time ever, he did not finish his steak. When we expressed our concerns, the manager came over, apologized, and removed the steak from our bill. We appreciated that gesture and felt the manager handled the situation professionally. While the restaurant itself is beautiful and upscale, the music selection felt out of place for the fine-dining atmosphere they appear to be creating. The energetic classic rock/pop playlist distracted somewhat from the elegant ambiance and didn't match the level of sophistication reflected in the décor and pricing. Fine dining isn't just expensive food on fancy plates. It's consistency. It's a server who knows the menu inside and out. It's attention to detail. It's a steak arriving perfectly seasoned and exactly as described on the menu. It's the feeling that every part of the experience was intentional. This was a huge miss.

My husband and I went here today for the first time, to celebrate my birthday, which was a few weeks ago. Our waiter was Mark, and he was very good and attentive. I started with their Strawberry Fields cocktail, one of the seasonal ones, and my husband had the Old Fashioned - we enjoyed both. For our appetizer, we ordered the beef tallow candle... I had had a similar appetizer at Frame in Oak Park a while back, which has now closed, and it was good. I didn't like this one quite as much, but it was still good, and also came with some butter. I had the 8 ounce petite filet and unfortunately this is where I was disappointed - which is especially disappointing because this place is a steakhouse. I thought it was nice and tender, but didn't have much taste. The zip sauce provided with it was very good with it, but I always say that the mark of a good steak is if it doesn't need any sauces to go with it. My husband got the 16 ounce New York strip, and I felt the same way about that steak as well. That being said, we got the Potatoes Romanoff and the Brussels sprouts for our sides and those were both excellent. I would order both again, but the rest of their sides also looked good so I would maybe try something else. The Reserve also excels at customer service. They gave me a really nice candle as a birthday gift, and a card signed by the staff. They also brought out a rather large birthday sundae on the house, with fruit in it, and I was impressed by both of these things... I have never been to a restaurant where they give you a full-size candle for your birthday, as well as dessert! Because of this, I didn't get to see the full dessert menu, but the guests at the table next to us were eyeing the crème brûlée, it seemed. Based on this experience, I would come back here, but I would maybe get different steak or an accompaniment for it - they had seasoned butter add-ons and others, too. Overall, however, it was a very nice night out.

AWESOME ! Service over and above what might normally be expected!…read more On April 20 while visiting daughter and grandkids in Brighton, my husband and I wanted to take everyone (daughter, boyfriend, grandson, grandson's girlfriend, granddaughter) out for a nice dinner. We were a little hesitant about finding a restaurant as grandson just started going through the process of determining food sensitivities. My daughter called ahead to check about gluten-free options on the menu as the list of what he can and cannot eat is very limiting at this time and he is still figuring things out which can be rough for a high school senior. We were seated promptly in the front window area and Shannon S. was our server. Now I don't know if Shannon was told to expect us, but she hit the ball out of the proverbial park. Not only did she suggest side options for grandson, but when questions about ingredients were asked that she couldn't answer she went to the kitchen to presumably ask chef--but she came back to the table with answers AND a binder containing all the ingredients for each menu item (no, sorry that has garlic as a seasoning; no sorry that has a sauce with onions; no sorry that has cheese). In the end, grandson was able to choose with confidence side dishes in place of the standard menu options so that his meal wouldn't mess with his digestive system--he became more of an active participant in deciding his dinner--and that his meal was one he really, really, really enjoyed. He was surprised that a restaurant would go to those lengths to help a customer. Brighton Bar and Grill was a favorite spot when husband and I lived in Howell years ago and will definitely come back to the high service and quality food we experienced on this visit.

Their cornbread was so moist and had a nice flavor. The breading on the chicken was perfectly cooked and had a nice sweet flavor. We decided on the bread pudding for dessert which was easily a shareable item. So much flavor and wasn't too overly sweet with the candied pecans and sweet drizzle topping. Flavor was very well balanced.

Unexpectedly they asked if we wanted them to split the meals for us and serve one of each meal on a single plate. Top notch service. The restaurant was filled with other families but was not extremely loud and overall was a comfortable atmosphere As for the food, we had the house bread & butter, crispy fried Brussels sprouts appetizer, Parmesan crusted whitefish and Rib Eye Steak with Stillwater Salad & Caesar salad The house bread came fresh and was warm. It was the perfect balance of a warm fluffy cloud with a little crunch and perfect amount of salt. The brussel sprouts were excellently presented with balsamic vinaigrette glaze and fresh Parmesan cheese grated over it. The Brussels sprouts were a tad bitter for my taste and I think would benefit from a more sweet glaze to balance out the bitterness. Overall still enjoyable Our entrees came with a choice of a salad each. We had the Caesar and Stillwater grill salad. The Caesar salad had homemade dressing and was extremely fresh and crunchy. It was overall very tasty. The Stillwater grill salad came with a honey-cider Dijon vinaigrette which I got on the side. I personally didn't like the flavor of the vinaigrette but my husband did. Instead I got a side of honey mustard which paired much better with the salad and significantly elevated the flavor. We got the Ribeye steak medium cooked. It was very juicy and flavorful. It came with a side of mashed potatoes and broccolini which were both exceptionally flavored and well seasoned. The Parmesan crusted whitefish was also perfectly cooked. The fish was moist and the Parmesan added a subtle crunch. The fish could use a little more salt but that's my personal opinion. The lemon caper butter sauce tied all the flavors together for a complete dish that was enjoyable. It also came with a side of rice and green beans which were also good Overall we had a great experience. All this food came up to $80. For such a wonderful experience we couldn't ask for a better price
