They made us drive 30 minutes to exchange the steak for slightly less over cooked steak(no where near medium rare but it's so dark there we couldn't tell until we left again The manager Brittany was rude and adamant that it was our fault we choose to drive back so we could get a meal. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have had in years and my issue never even got solved. What a water of money, just go get hibatchi next door at kintaro. The gal on the phone said they do call ahead seating 2 hours in advance, so if we wanted to come at 5:30, call at 3:30. 3:30 rolls around and now we're being told they aren't taking seating for parties over 8 people. If we had been told that earlier, we could have made reservations elsewhere, but now we've been waiting around all day for this! Spoke to a manager who basically said 'I don't know what she told you that' You shouldn't have people answering the phones on Mother's Day if they're not aware of the policies. They also said they couldn't accommodate us in any way. I'm impressed. We came here on Easter with a party of 5. Call-ahead seating worked how it's supposed to work (but rarely does in other places) and we were seated in a few minutes. Despite being incredibly busy, the service was excellent. We never had an empty glass, and each course arrived piping hot. The 8 ounce sirloins were a perfect medium rare, the sides were well-prepared, and we had several baskets of freshly made rolls, all of them hot. There isn't a steak house in America worth standing outside in a line, in 25 degree weather, for the 'privilege' of being allowed through the locked front door to the dining room. It looks more like a ride at the carnival than a restaurant interested in providing a reasonably pleasant dining experience. Four months ago, I tried to eat here. The dining room was half full and they yawned while telling me it would be a 90 min wait for a table because they didn't have adequate staff. Apparently, their most recent solution is to close off the waiting room, lock the front door, and cut a window in the front wall where a hostess hangs out like a carney and determines whether you 'qualify' to come inside and have dinner. read more

I mean what is not to love? They have steak, ribs, chicken, beer, peanuts, sports, and friendly waitresses. This place has it all. My family and I love going here and I usually get the Sirloin steak meal deal. I get 10 ounce steak, baked potato, and house salad. Can't go wrong with it. My husband can never get his steak cooked right. I was told by the waitress I can pay her or use the link on my bill to pay . She never came back to our table so I used the link on the bill. When I woke up the next day I had a rude voicemail from the manager saying I didn't pay my bill and she was calling the police . I called texas roadhouse because I had a confirmation email from the link and my credit card my payment went through and the manager was still rude and said just pay your bill and hung up. I called texas roadhouse corporate and they found the payment and couldn't explain why the manager would call me but they would call the restaurant and let them know it was an error. I will never eat at this location again the proper way would have been to just call and say you believe it was an error in my payment and a apology would have been nice for the wrongful accusations. read more

We have tried being patient, but after the third time having a messed up to go order I had to say something. We always have something missing from our order. This tome we had a salad missing and one of the kids Mac and cheese was still in its packaging...someone was just being careless. It's one thing to pay as much as you do for food these days but to have it consistently messed up is just bad business, especially for a chain. Management needs to be more hands on at this location. Atmosphere was extremely loud, and they do this really annoying and over the top birthday thing like i literally had to cover my little ones ears. He has a sensory disorder and the restaurant should give people a heads up that this occurs otherwise it just ends with an upset toddler. The other (cheaper and larger) filet was more well done than medium-well as well. I came here for the porterhouse and I feel like I've had better at Longhorn. Ordered two prime rib dinners at about 1:00 PM for pick up at 2:30. When we arrived for the pick up, they informed us that they were out of prime rib. No they weren't. It was only 2:30. Anyway, I asked why they didn't let us know earlier so we could change our plans, and the answer was "I don't know." So they offered us a full refund, and I said yes. Then they tell me that it will take 5 days for a refund. Five frickin' days??? I'd like to know what's going on. Went to the grocery store yesterday, and couldn't even buy a prime rib. No matter. Easy to be seated. Placed was crowed. Our server Tami was friendly throughout our service. When asking for our bills Tami started small talk and mentioned that it's been a really crazy day. She explained that everyone is quitting lately. Without our party wanting any more info, she went into further detail reporting "none of the black people leave tips." I'm sorry, she actually started by saying "not to be racist but...." At first I thought okay, some black people just don't tip. I think she felt comfy saying this to my white son and his white girlfriend. She further reported that "black lives matter" people are getting these $600 stimulus checks and out eating steak and shrimp for free. She threw up her hands and said these people are horrible. I asked one of the other waitresses to please send a manager over. I let him know that his waitress is complaining to us that black people aren't tipping and she feels that people who are "black lives matter" are getting these stimulus checks and not tipping her. I let the manager know that I felt black lives matter and plenty of white people are receiving unemployment currently. The manager said he wasn't sure what to say, he's embarrassed and he will have a talk with her. I asked him why this waitress felt the need to express her political views to us, unprompted. He just stared at me. Mind you, a majority of patrons were black. I wanted to stand up and let everyone know, but I knew that wouldn't be beneficial to anyone. Manager refused to comp our meals or drinks. I usually leave a 20-30% tip. For the first time in my life I left nothing for Tami but sure did give cash to a young black waitress who was busting her ass. As a waitress in my previous years I felt this was pathetic. She was attempting to gain sympathy using our commonality of being white. I've served plenty of black and white people who both left me nothing. I worked at Golden Corral as a young lady bussing tables and I left that job due to the instability of income. I also believe that if you can't leave a tip you don't go out to eat. But that's just me. 1. If you are upset that a certain race isn't tipping, maybe you should choose a career that doesn't rely on that race to pay your bills. Or perhaps choose an employer that has a mandatory tip. Texas Roadhouse has a pretty diverse clientele. Plenty of black people eating there. 2. The practice of tipping leaves your employer all the benefit. You are working in an unstable career right now. Either no one goes out to eat and you have no job or people want to eat and tip less. Pick your poison. Maybe leave that employer like the rest of your co-workers to make an impact. 3. Black lives matter has nothing to do with why people are unemployed right now and receiving unemployment assistance. Your government has created the financial issues we are currently facing. I wanna eat the delicious rolls and forgot about COVID19. 4. I go to lunch and dinner often with blacks folks and they all tip... and gainfully employed. I went here the night if my engagement, which was a few days ago and it was just great. We called ahead to book a table and right when we got there they seated us, it was perfect. The waiters and waitresses are completely sweet and genuine. The waiter we had for the evening was completely honest and had told us he was running little behind which was fine, we were just glad he told us instead of us feeling like we were being ignored. We ordered and he told us how long the food would be. 15-20 minutes later food was here. Yay. My fiancé's chicken wasn't cooked right, however they took it immediately and gave him a new one maybe 8-10 minutes later. The manager brought it out to us and made sure it was cooked how he wanted it. Pricing is good for what you get ! The staff and customer service is great. A text message was sent to respond when in the parking lot We arrived in the designated time frame and I texted to confirm our arrival It was less than 15 minutes that I received the response to enter the restaurant to be seated Amanda was our excellent server and the food was delicious! I had the fried catfish and my spouse ordered a steak When our food was delivered, they asked that he cut his steak to see that it was prepared to his satisfaction He asked that it be cooked a little longer, which they did. I got two baskets of yeast rolls, and I almost didn't have enough room for the rest. Every time I come here, I bring almost half of the steak home for lunch the next day. It was topped with mushrooms, onions, cheese & I got a side of brown gravy to top it off with. The meat was juicy & cooked perfectly! It went really well with the brown gravy. I normally get the chopped steak from Brown Derby Roadhouse but, this chopped steak is so much better than Brown Derby's. The chopped steak came with 2 sides so, I got the rice & sweet potato. The rice was mushy & tasted off & the sweet potato was also very mushy. I could of skipped both of the sides.
