Pretty quick service even though they were busy with graduation celebrations. We were seated fast ( table for 3). Always great dishes and size. I love their sweet baked potato. I get the toppings on the side (butter, sugary molasses). The chicken is always nice, tender and juicy despite it being a a breast. The ribs were literally falling off the bone tender! So yummy! Oh yea, the rattlesnake bites are delish too!

    Very overcooked pork chop.

Ordered the grilled pork chop. It came undercooked so we sent it back. When the manager brought it back it was extremely overcooked and flat. Don't know why He let it leave the kitchen looking like that. I didn't make additional complaint as it already was a long wait for the chop to come back. Took my food to go. We usually have a great experience at this location.

Extremely busy being Mother's Day, swamped line out of the building with an hour waitlist.. I got really lucky with the last seat at the bar. Restaurant was clean and its typical fun atmosphere. The staff, even while being completely swamped was beyond friendly and took great care of me. The lady that helped the bartender bring out my food also got my salad and rolls out despite probably having a million other things to do. My prime was delicious, hot and fresh, my salad was delicious-- and they didn't forget my special request for horseradish or no croutons. I'm really impressed with the staff and you can't beat a quality steak for the T.R. price! Will definitely come back when I'm the area! Thank you!

We showed up about 5:30 hoping to avoid the dinner crowd but we were wrong. There was still a 20-30 minute wait. They suggested we go back to the car. By the time we got to the car I received a text saying we were up next on the waiting list. The service was outstanding! Everyone was moving quickly getting food out and helping customers and even did their little song and dance at one point in the evening. We got our free appetizer for being a member and it was during a birthday month. We chose the breaded pickles over the breaded onion. It was a good choice. The stake prices were reasonable and tasted very good. Tip: go before 5:00 pm and they have a reduced price menu. This will be our new go to stake house.

The food and service was great but they gave us no butter for our rolls and that's the whole point of even getting them.

Also, the food he said coming from Sam's club- again never experienced that and I supposed it depends on what you order - like chicken tenders or other pre made items. I would suggest that you go for breakfast. They make stellar breakfasts, and i highly suggest some type of omelette. You will get a very large omelette, stuffed with ingredients. I have ordered the spinach and mushroom, as well as the veggie omelette and both were outstanding. You also get a hearty portion of american fries or hashbrowns on the side AND a side of toast. I have subsituted a pancake for toast and it cost me an extra $1. Oh and the omelette was $5.75! We have been everywhere for breakfast and you cannot buy an omelette for $5.75 and still get that large of a portion. Coffee is bottomless and delicious! And they serve breakfast all day! who can beat that. It's a cozy spot - hard working folks that run it - recommend it highly for breakfast fare!

I knew I had to try it on a recent visit back home. My experience was mixed. The excellent: our table service was next level with each dish being thoroughly explained. We were educated on the thought process behind each wine pairing as well. Between each course our table was cleaned and we were presented with fresh silverware. The great: the food was presented beautifully and our meal looked incredibly impressive. The interior definitely invoked the Brooklyn vibes that inspired the restaurant in the first place. It feels very upscale hipster. The disappointing: though the overall experience was tasty and texturally perfect, each dish we tried had some overpowering element and flavors were not balanced. After the tuna crudo all I could taste was celery, after the morel mushroom pasta all I could taste were the pungent chive blossoms, and the trout skin/asparagus were over-grilled and I felt like I was eating a well prepared charcoal briquette. Maybe I'll give this place another try next time I'm in town and hope the flavors make as much sense as the rest of the experience.

However, I was surprised on one dish for missing the mark this round unfortunately. For only being here once though and they change up their menu seasonal, I'm hopeful their 'too salty' dishes are few and far between. The service was good as they were knowledgeable on menu items. The ambiance was moody. They also have a wonderful bar area with a large upscale selection of drinks. Bathrooms were nice and it's great to view the kitchen working away in the back area. Now for more food details. The group had the 5 course offering. Highly recommend the steak tartar as it was the groups favorite - "the Midwest's poke bowl" . The least favorite was the scallop dish as it was way too salty it overpowered the flavor profile and was bitter. The agnolotti pasta, pork belly, and banana assortment dessert were delectable.
