I am on vacation and decided to get a carry-out from this Cheddars. I ordered chips & queso, and chicken pot pie. A small tossed salad and honey croissants came with it. The service was good. I was here alone and asked for a booth. I was seated in the bar. It was extremely cold so I asked if it could be adjusted. It never got warmer and seemed to get colder. I even had brought a sweater in! Ordered the cheesesteak and ff. When she sat it in front of me the cheese slices were not even melted and the roll was not toasted. I have eaten here multiple times, but today is probably my last. The service was way off and the kitchen was letting food that was cold and undercooked out. I ordered the spazania it was cold. Sent back. So I thought maybe a cheeseburger would be good. I was wrong. After everyone was almost finished I got a very undercooked cheeseburger. Not counting the wait time for any condiments( I had to ask three times them, so now it's cold and then I realized it was almost raw. Pitiful. The manager acted as if it is normal thing. our server was very friendly and helpful! i had originally wanted to order the meatloaf but was told they were out, and he willingly offered to help me decide based on my dietary needs. he was knowledgeable about the menu and very patient while i looked and left to give me a few more minutes. when he came back he declared they did in fact have the meatloaf, so that's what i went with. ‍ it was very good, and the green beans and carrots weren't bad either. the restaurant was decorated for halloween so the light above where we were seated was very muted but i enjoyed my meal. read more

Wow! Wow! WOW! Been here a couple of times and we're definitely hooked! Cheddar's by far has become one of my favorite places to eat in Cleveland now. We were seated promptly, and our waiter, Chris, was spot on. He continually checked on us, and it was done with a smile. The atmosphere is homey and welcoming as well. The food has been on point, a good value, and delicious. The cheddar cheese bites (with their ranch dipping sauce, which is some of the best ranch ever!), are a delectable treat. The complimentary honey butter crossaints are phenomenal and very addicting. My go-to is most definitely the Monte Cristo sandwich. If you've ever had Disneyland's Monte Cristo sandwich, Cheddar's Monte Cristo is very much alike. It's on the sweeter side, which I personally love, and is fluffy. Their raspberry jam is delicious and a perfect pairing. This night, we also ordered the half rack of ribs and broccoli casserole. Both were DELICIOUS! I have tried 3 times over a 3-month span to place a carry out order by phone and nobody will ever answer the phone. After, I called I had drove by the place and it wasn't busy at all! So, I don't understand why you can't answer the phone. When I go to the Chattanooga, Tn. Cheddar's it's always better service and has a friendly staff. Order arrived with a single piece of chicken inside of wrap with cheese and 2 pickles...nothing cut up, cabbage absent and wrap spontaneously opening with excessive Buffalo sauce dripping out. Not at all as pictured and described in menu. I complained to waitress twice to no avail. Paid my bill and left. Called to speak to manager and no one ever came to the phone. We ordered our food online for pickup and I'm accounting for that as we've always ordered that way from this location. The food was done on time and brought out promptly so of course that's a good thing. The several workers taking vape breaks on the side of the building where takeout happens isn't a good look. Everything about the meal seemed like things have fallen off of the standard they had set. My soup wasn't as good as usual. Each of our dinners was a little below their usual quality. Their honey butter croissants are to die for. Golden, flaky crust with a soft, airy interior. Perfectly topped off with sweet honey butter that melts in your mouth. Sirloin was a perfect medium: inside was moist and pink while outside was seared perfectly. Juicy, tender, and full of flavor. I got it with mashed potatoes which had some chunks of small potatoes that I love. Corn was sweet and delicate. Super nice bartender. Can't recommend this place for dinner enough. read more

We've eaten there before. Unfortunately the food is still subpar. We ate there today because I had a drs visit nearby. We were seated quickly. It was after the lunch rush. Everyone is friendly. We ordered the spinach dip. It was hot and bubbly and really good. I would prefer not having that lump if sour cream in the middle though so you may want to ask them to leave it off. It kind of unbalances the dip. Ask for it on the side. I ordered the burger and fries. The first thing I noticed is that it was stacked well. Lettuce onion mayo. And then I cut into the burger. It was greasy. A quick taste made me think it was mediocre beef probably 70-10 it looked pale. It had zero taste the only thing that helped it was the onions. My fries were lukewarm to cold. They had sat a little before the server was able to get to them. My husband had chicken that looked over breaded and the baked potato was like it was yesterday's. Cheddars could go a lot better. They have great crowds. But for me, I don't care to go back. Bathroom was clean and tables were clean. Not as loud as normal in there and that was probably due to the hour. read more

Cheddar's is great!! Traveling from Minnesota and stopped in for dinner. Food was good, but what made it a good experience was the service. Our server, Blair (I'm not sure how to spell it), was amazing!! She was really charming and was very on top of getting us what we need. Not sure what is going on at this Cheddars. Poor management or just poor leadership and employees. I reported the men's restroom needed to be cleaned and the girl at the front gave it not even one care. We left about 45 minutes later and I looked in the restroom to see if anyone had cleaned it and there was still urine on the floor and toilet seat. The floor at the urinal also had urine on it. It was just nasty! Food was ok. I had pasta with shrimp and asked if the cook would please cut the hard tails off the shrimp and was told no. I told our waitress another cheddars we go to does it for me. She went to ask the cook and he apparently said no he wouldn't do it. I got a little aggravated with that. We've eaten here three times, I believe. We don't normally care for big chain restaurants, but Cheddar's (this location at least), is better than most. On our latest visit here my wife and I both had the bone-in ribeye (here for a limited time) cooked exactly how we asked for it to be. I had the fries which were good but nothing special, and my wife had the mashed potatoes which she said were good. We also had the cheese bites for an appetizer. We've had incredible cheese curds in Wisconsin, and these were definitely not on par with those, but they were good. My Caesar salad was also good, and my wife's broccoli casserole was very good. Our server, Chris, was excellent. Of note for veterans and active duty service members, this location does not give the military discount that other locations do. Still, overall we enjoy Cheddars and will return when in the Cleveland area. read more

good food, no issues there, and the fish tank and everything looked very good and well taken care of so that makes me happy, but my server i think Josh was his name was very jumpy in a way? his timing with the food wasn't fantastic which is a little nitpicky of me, but the main things were that it took to the end of the meal and two times of us saying something for us to get our croissants, then i paid in cash with a $50 bill and he never brought me my change after coming to the table twice after collecting it, over all good food, good ambiance, the service was just not as great as usual read more

Had my wife try the lettuce and she agreed with the lack of flavor. Wife had the Buffalo chicken wraps and had them hold the Buffalo and use grilled chicken instead and she liked that.
