In house dining on May 13, 3026. Ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wrapper. Order arrived with a single piece of chicken inside of wrap with cheese and 2 pickles...nothing cut up, cabbage absent and wrap spontaneously opening with excessive Buffalo sauce dripping out. Not at all as pictured and described in menu. I complained to waitress twice to no avail. Paid my bill and left. Called to speak to manager and no one ever came to the phone. our server was very friendly and helpful! i had originally wanted to order the meatloaf but was told they were out, and he willingly offered to help me decide based on my dietary needs. he was knowledgeable about the menu and very patient while i looked and left to give me a few more minutes. when he came back he declared they did in fact have the meatloaf, so that's what i went with. ‍ it was very good, and the green beans and carrots weren't bad either. the restaurant was decorated for halloween so the light above where we were seated was very muted but i enjoyed my meal. read more

Wow! Wow! WOW! Been here a couple of times and we're definitely hooked! Cheddar's by far has become one of my favorite places to eat in Cleveland now. We were seated promptly, and our waiter, Chris, was spot on. He continually checked on us, and it was done with a smile. The atmosphere is homey and welcoming as well. The food has been on point, a good value, and delicious. The cheddar cheese bites (with their ranch dipping sauce, which is some of the best ranch ever!), are a delectable treat. The complimentary honey butter crossaints are phenomenal and very addicting. My go-to is most definitely the Monte Cristo sandwich. If you've ever had Disneyland's Monte Cristo sandwich, Cheddar's Monte Cristo is very much alike. It's on the sweeter side, which I personally love, and is fluffy. Their raspberry jam is delicious and a perfect pairing. This night, we also ordered the half rack of ribs and broccoli casserole. Both were DELICIOUS! We ordered our food online for pickup and I'm accounting for that as we've always ordered that way from this location. The food was done on time and brought out promptly so of course that's a good thing. The several workers taking vape breaks on the side of the building where takeout happens isn't a good look. Everything about the meal seemed like things have fallen off of the standard they had set. My soup wasn't as good as usual. Each of our dinners was a little below their usual quality. Most shocking was that the honey croissants were so doughy that they were inedible. Really disappointing for a place that we've considered treat food since it opened. read more

We've eaten there before. Unfortunately the food is still subpar. We ate there today because I had a drs visit nearby. We were seated quickly. It was after the lunch rush. Everyone is friendly. We ordered the spinach dip. It was hot and bubbly and really good. I would prefer not having that lump if sour cream in the middle though so you may want to ask them to leave it off. It kind of unbalances the dip. Ask for it on the side. I ordered the burger and fries. The first thing I noticed is that it was stacked well. Lettuce onion mayo. And then I cut into the burger. It was greasy. A quick taste made me think it was mediocre beef probably 70-10 it looked pale. It had zero taste the only thing that helped it was the onions. My fries were lukewarm to cold. They had sat a little before the server was able to get to them. My husband had chicken that looked over breaded and the baked potato was like it was yesterday's. Cheddars could go a lot better. They have great crowds. But for me, I don't care to go back. Bathroom was clean and tables were clean. Not as loud as normal in there and that was probably due to the hour. read more

Their honey butter croissants are to die for. Golden, flaky crust with a soft, airy interior. Perfectly topped off with sweet honey butter that melts in your mouth. Sirloin was a perfect medium: inside was moist and pink while outside was seared perfectly. Juicy, tender, and full of flavor. I got it with mashed potatoes which had some chunks of small potatoes that I love. Corn was sweet and delicate. Super nice bartender. Can't recommend this place for dinner enough. read more

Not sure what is going on at this Cheddars. Poor management or just poor leadership and employees. I reported the men's restroom needed to be cleaned and the girl at the front gave it not even one care. We left about 45 minutes later and I looked in the restroom to see if anyone had cleaned it and there was still urine on the floor and toilet seat. The floor at the urinal also had urine on it. It was just nasty! Food was ok. I had pasta with shrimp and asked if the cook would please cut the hard tails off the shrimp and was told no. I told our waitress another cheddars we go to does it for me. She went to ask the cook and he apparently said no he wouldn't do it. I got a little aggravated with that. We've eaten here three times, I believe. We don't normally care for big chain restaurants, but Cheddar's (this location at least), is better than most. On our latest visit here my wife and I both had the bone-in ribeye (here for a limited time) cooked exactly how we asked for it to be. I had the fries which were good but nothing special, and my wife had the mashed potatoes which she said were good. We also had the cheese bites for an appetizer. We've had incredible cheese curds in Wisconsin, and these were definitely not on par with those, but they were good. My Caesar salad was also good, and my wife's broccoli casserole was very good. Our server, Chris, was excellent. Of note for veterans and active duty service members, this location does not give the military discount that other locations do. Still, overall we enjoy Cheddars and will return when in the Cleveland area. read more

We have eaten here many times since they opened. Every time has been very good! Some of the dishes we really love are the Chicken Pasta Cesar, the sirloin is so tender and has awesome flavor! Can't go wrong with that. Love the honey mustard dressing on the house salad. Their croissant rolls are sinful, you will definitely want to order a second round! Only once did we experience slow service, however they were super busy, so we just enjoyed good conversation. Also, because it is so new, everting is clean and fresh. Service was very good considering they were short on wait staff. The chicken Caesar pasta salad had zero flavor. It was like they watered down the dressing. Had my wife try the lettuce and she agreed with the lack of flavor. Wife had the Buffalo chicken wraps and had them hold the Buffalo and use grilled chicken instead and she liked that. My family and I have came here once before and everything was great but this place has gone downhill in the recent months. We came on a slow Wednesday night but the place was disgusting and we had to wait on a table. After finally being sat in a half empty restaurant we were rudely greeted by our server. I'm a server myself and I understand we are human and have bad days, but talking to your customers like dogs right off the bat isn't gonna solve anything. I would use her name but she ignored us so much I have no idea what it is. It took almost 10 minutes to get two sweet teas. After finally ordering our appetizers were brought out. My boyfriend got mozzarella bites and I got a caesar salad which were both just okay. For the main course I got the lemon pepper chicken which came out undercooked with barely any seasoning. The rice was so dry it was inedible. The broccoli I ordered on the side was undercooked as well. My boyfriend got the chicken wraps which he said tasted "off" and later that night made him sick. We couldn't bring any of this to our servers attention either because she disappeared for 30 minutes after we ordered. Funny enough when it was time to pay she was super nice all of a sudden. We paid and left hungry and disappointed. The extra star is for the sweet boys working the host stand, but even they seemed miserable. This place needs better management ASAP. If you can't keep your restaurant clean, service flowing, and keep your employees happy, you shouldn't be running a business. read more

Not too busy, decent speed on cooking food, server was great! However, not impressed with overall presentation or taste of food. The "Texas Tbone" was more gristle than meat, it was also very thin. I measure my steak ratings based on whether I feel I need to use steak sauce, which I did. Not worth 25 dollars. Best dish of the meal was the salad, which was actually really great.
