I went in for the early dine experience as they have some pretty solid deals for that time. I ordered the 6oz sirloin and my wife ordered the pork chop. Service was great and no problems there. The pork chop was well seasoned and tasted good. I ordered my steak Medium, no I understand that when you order medium sometimes you get medium well or medium rare depending on the cook but some form of medium is expected. A sirloin is the premium steak so I get that it's going to be in the lower end of quality. When my steak arrived it was pretty dry looking but my waiter (who did a fine job generally) was not around to say anything. Regardless I figured this steak was going to be the medium well side of things. In fact this steak was Well Well Done. Luckily I'm the kind who can go ahead and eat a steak this way though not my preference. It was dried out and very tough as expected. Finally after a bit my waiter came by and asked how everything was, to his credit he offered to have another cooked for me but I had already eaten half of it and I wasn't telling him for the new steak or refund or anything like that. I was more so letting him know that either the grill was running too hot or maybe they gave me the wrong steak and be on the lookout for someone saying they had an undercooked one (mine?) Overall not the best eating experience and if I was someone who refused to eat well done it would have been unfortunate to have to send it back. A little over cooked I get, but this well done was a total miss. Also when did A1 start coming in a serving cup and not just a bottle at the table? I definitely needed it as this steak was too dry. Texas road house, you used to be so great! But I'll tell you it's going down hill FAST!!!! First I'll say the rolls are amazing! That might be the only thing keeping you afloat at this point. The potato skins were okay as well, so no real complaints there! My issues come with the fact that I wanted a bacon cheeseburger! Allegedly there was no bacon strips and when I asked if they could just put the bacon crumbles on it the manager said NO! Then the old lady got the 8oz steak! And there was no way in gods green earth that steak was 8 ounces. And she also said she wanted it well done( I know, but that's how she likes it) and the steak was definitely still pink. I like my steak med rare so it would have been fine for me not her though. I will also say they served me one of the best diet cokes I've ever drank. So props for that. Can't go wrong with any of the perfectly seasoned & prepared, as you like it, steaks. The salad is fresh and wonderfully composed. The French dressing a delicious Catalina type. My chicken was almost charcoal. My husband's ribs had so much fat on it, it was nauseating. We did send them back. Second rack of ribs were better. French fries were way over cooked. They must have new kitchen staff that couldn't care less. I've never had any complaints about their food until the last 3-4 months. I ordered bbq chicken sandwich. Barely any bbq on it, and a pile of fries not worthy of a kids meal , and looked to be hours old. The food wasn't fresh. My husband got bbq chicken and sirloin. Sirloin was dry , and over cooked and chicken was dry and little bbq. Server was ok , but she's rushed us. I don't think I'll return this is probably my third try , and it isn't worth the money!!! Food is great service is good but wait times have become inconsistent and excessive. The last two times I have been here the wait has been quoted at over an hour. We used the call ahead waitlist and when our time came to enter the restaurant we had to wait about another hour (2hr total wait). Once we were called inside it was about another 10 minutes to be seated and several more minutes before we saw a waiter/waitress. Unfortunately this has recently been a great restaurant , but our wait time being over and hour more than it was quoted is very excessive. Very slow in cooking the food, carrots were crunchy raw. The couldn't get a neighboring tables steak cooked properly. On top of that I was overcharged by 50% . I knew the waiter was acting squirrelly. Now I know why. I didn't not want to totally ruin my meal nor disturb the other diners meals around me so I went ahead and paid for it with cash as no way would I allow Tim- Timmy the waiter to have my credit card. As I was leaving I spoke with the manager concerning the intentional rip off. She said even though the receipt showed it was paid for in cash and I was diffently over charged she would not give me the overcharge back in cash. She offered a card that I could use on my next visit. No, no I know you have the cash on hand, my cash at least and I have no plans on returning. If you can't do the right thing the first time and I gave you the opportunity to get it right why would I want to put myself out there for you to stew me over again? Nope, your waiter is a thrift and Texas Roadhouse backed him up. Never again. Maybe this waiter and the wait staff have a scam going on! Food was great, server was awesome, meal came somewhat quickly but please Texas Roadhouse, consider your deaf and hard of hearing guests who wear hearing aids when turning on the dining room music. Our server was great in trying to get it lowered for us because neither my husband (who does wear hearing aids) nor I could hear each other across the table from each other, but ultimately the volume never went any lower. Said it was "set by corporate". I don't blame the server at all in this but I think the company would find it beneficial to consider their guests who have special hearing situations by allowing the management to adjust the volume in the individual restaurant. We will consider other places that have a lower music volume. I've been more satisfied on previous visits but next time will probably try Longhorn or something else. My steak was cooked perfectly fine however my wife's steak was pretty bad looking and she said tasted like a hamburger steak. Furthermore it took about 40 to 50 minutes for our steaks to come out after ordering. For some reason I received my sides right away so I ate them thinking the rest of our food was coming right out but it wasn't. The servers knew that a mistake was made and they didn't offer to discount anything or offer us anything at all. What a nightmare, we were there around 12:20 waited 40mins to get seated took waitress 15mins to even come to our table and take our drink order, then almost another 15 for her to come back with the drinks and take our order, then we even had to ask for rolls and when they came they were not even done. When our food came my steak which I ordered well done no pink came rare she took it back which I didn't mind but came back again same way and this time the manager brought it out and she got nasty when I told her I need this well done she said we can put back on the grill-but how many times can you throw the same steak on the grill and come out proper, the green beans looked like they smashed them up for an infant. I get we are in a pandemic right now and businesses are short staffed. However, when you tell the customers it's going to be a 10-20 minute wait, then it should NOT be a 50 minute wait. Tell them the truth. The explanation I got from the hostess was that it's the computers fault for sending out the wrong times. If that is the case, then tell the customers the times are not correct when placing their name on the list. Simple as that. We have had 1 dine-in experience and several takeout orders at this Texas Roadhouse. The dine-in experience was pretty good -- it was busy and fairly noisy, as usual. The steak was good and the service was friendly. Then COVID hit and when they restarted takeout service we ordered a few times. The first few times were okay, but the last time the order was 25+ minutes late. Not sure what was going on, there were a lot of customers standing around waiting for their orders. They seem to have trouble handling the volume. We won't be going back anytime soon. read more

Do not go here. I ordered to go food today 12/8/2023 and waited over an hour. I was told it would be 20 minutes. I understand it was busy and only had one person working to go orders however what I did NOT understand is there was several orders that were ready when they said they were not and those orders sat there the whole hour I waited. They did not even offer to fix the situation or even care. I was still waiting over an hour when I went inside to tell them to just cancel it because I had no more time to wait AND I was not taking cold food me and other customers could obviously see was just sitting on the to go rack.
