Kid Rock! Is THAT who you want your children listening to at Texas Roadhouse? Was there with my husband this past weekend. We do tend to lean left (NOT IN THE MINORITY) but understand we chose TXRH knowing they dabbled on the right side. Our waitstaff was great and meal was just so so. As we are dining I realize the second "All Summer Long" by Kid Rock begins to play on their canned music track. We look up at each other instantly. I am looking around the restaurant wondering how many children were in attendance. (It's about smoking dope and having sex) When we got home I started doing some investigating. Bawitaba is about methamphetamines, he has written lyrics about sex with a minor girl. Eff ***! Is another jewel. The vast majority of his so called music is not even close to being appropriate for families. We spoke with the manager and was told he could do nothing. We told him it really did ruin the meal. Think we were offered so much as drink of water for being highly offended? Nope! I talked to some woman in Louisville. Kentucky and was told she'd pass the "experience" on, but that they WOULD NOT be following up with an ending to this story. At one point she seemed to lightly giggle about what I was telling her. Believe me when I tell you I'm not even close to being a prude but I know right from wrong. America needs to know that yet another right leaning establishment is playing raunchy music at a family restaurant. We were truly appalled. Here's the Bottom Line: never going back. Turn that awful music down, stop playing music written by a man who writes about having sex with a minor. Just so it's clear, I was around when he really WAS popular. I should have listened closer to lyrics. Cause hearing them the way this world is today, stings. EVERY SINGLE WOMAN/parent should be speaking out. This place was packed!!! That being said, our friend called ahead and we didn't have to wait long at all (maybe 10 minutes, if that). Service was good as well despite it being packed. Food and drinks were delicious, just definitely be prepared for lots and lots of butter! I enjoyed it all. I am sitting here now. This is the first time I've ordered take-out from Texas Roadhouse. When I picked up my order, I wanted to try it right away. I ordered an 11oz sirloin with potatoes and a Caesar salad. And of course they threw in their rolls. The sides were all good. But the sirloin (ordered med rare) was well done. I don't normally send food back but this time I did. The manager was very sorry and ordered me a new steak, med RARE. When I got my 2nd steak, it was med at best. But it was so tough to get through. I had a very tough time cutting it. And it was obviously more done than I wanted. I've never had a bad steak at TR, but this time, they really tripped up. I'll think twice about coming back. Stopped for dinner after an afternoon on the road. We were seated quickly and got in our drink orders. The drink menu doesn't have prices on it, but what we paid was in line with what I'd expect. Drinks came and we ordered food that arrived in a very reasonable amount of time. All our food was hot and tasty, with tender, well-seasoned meat and good sides. I've generally had a good, consistent experience at Texas Roadhouse locations. Our server Heather was too-notch! She checked in at least 5 times, and was friendly and fun. I got the Legend Margarita, and at $13 it was reasonably priced for what I got. Men's bathroom was well-used by the time I went in it at 8 PM, but that was because of the just ending dinner rush...it just needed a bit of tidying up. All in all a good and consistent experience in line with what you'd hope for from TX Roadhouse! read more

Visited Texas Roadhouse last night. The service was the usual service received at this location. The server did well and the attention level was what was needed. We had two meals one was excellent and the other not so good. The chicken was burnt on one side, and tasted like it was past its shelf life in other words tasted like it was about to spoil. Their rolls always come warm and ready to devour. It comes with a sweet cinnamon butter on the side. The rolls are soft and chewy. Free refills on them, and you can refill one last time and take them to go. Honestly, the best rolls I've ever had. Ordered the cactus bloom. Fried onion goodness. We have high expectations for this restaurant and unfortunately it fell short. The restaurant it self was very nice and clean, we got seated immediately and our waitress was a lovely girl. Now comes the food, they bring out the most bland bread which was inedible, we took one bite and left it alone. The salad would have been nice if it was not served with watered down dressing, I had to ask for more (4) just to finish it. The loaded potato was good, the steak was not bad but the watered down A1 sauce which is served in little paper cups left a lot to be desired. The service and food is good here I had dinner after work with my coworker. It is busy around 4:30-5:30 pm but we did not have to wait to be seated. The rolls with the cinnamon butter is good. The 5oz of salmon is a good healthy choice with a sweet potato. The chili is good and cheese fries. The meal wasn't too expensive at all. Tried them again today for the first time in a year because all of our Steaks had been very tough. We decided to split a large ribeye, ordered it medium rare once again it was so tough we couldn't eat it the bartender was so busy she didn't come back to check on us until we needed boxes to go and I told her the steak was so tough we couldn't eat it she went and got a supervisor and those supervisors I'm sorry I'll get your check not that we wanted a free steak but at least buy us one of our beers. This here, is a Texas Roadhouse. It's like just about every other Texas Roadhouse I've been to. The menu is filled with what you would expect from a Texas-style roadside diner, with emphasis on big portions and lots of tasty sides. If you're hungry, this place will fill you up with stick-to-your-ribs southern cookin', but you can actually find several healthier options on the menu too. If you're stumped, ask the wait staff - they know the menu inside and out, and are happy to recommend something to sate your cravings. Their drink menu is even more expansive, with a ton of different mixed drinks, cocktails, blended drinks, beer, and liquor. For the most part, their well brands are good, but they have some nicer bottles on their top shelf. The prices are pretty reasonable for most of their drinks, which are more refreshing than hammering (which is good - they really enhance your meal, and are great when with pals). The service is excellent. Even at peak dinner hours, they keep the place clean, and the food & drinks coming out at incredible speed. All of the dishes I've had - and I've had quite a few - are always really good. I guess with the volume of customer they work with, they must be getting fresh ingredients on a very regular basis. Awful experience at the To-Go window. 5 minutes after quoted time to pick up my order I asked the employee at the widow if my order was ready and was told no. I patiently waited at the table in front of the window for another 15 minutes before checking at the window again. When I did my order was sitting on the rack, no notification at all. I spoke to the manager, who was very rude, told me my quote time was just 5 minutes earlier basically calling me a liar until I showed her the time given when I placed my order. She went through the bag of food checking my order, which I thought was kind of her until I got home and was missing a side... What is going on at this location? I've visiting many Texas Roadhouse establishments during my military service, always a huge fan, never have I had an issue before and this was the second time in a row from this location. The food was excellent, service was great. However, the ambiance was nothing short of a stressful dealbreaker. We were seated under a ceiling fan, with artic-like AC. Sitting under that fan was uncomfortable, but also created a very annoying 'strobe' effect on the lighting. That was intrusive enough, but about halfway through our meal the music volume increased to an unbearable degree. I couldn't even hear my husband speak, and he was sitting right next to me. As a result, we and everyone around us had to raise our voices which only added to the horrible ambiance. Waitresses shouldn't have to yell to be heard either. We experienced the same problem with the music the last time we were there, so we won't be returning. I'm not so old that I can't appreciate music, but at such volume, my nerves just can't take it. First we were seated way back in isolated corner by ourselves. Every one else up front. The music was so loud we could not hear our server. I got catfish which was really good as was my baked potato. My wife liked her little steak. However corn was soaked in butter, potatoes too, baked beans on menu but did not have them, green beans in oil, Took my last bite of potato and about gagged like eating a spoonful of salt, I drank my coke refill all down to get rid of it. Btw did not get refills till done eating (wife`s glass was still full) and that was after we earlier had to ask a girl to have our server bring them.
