We ate at the Fallston location on June 28, 2026. The service was good but I would not recommend their food. I found a large lump of an end of a rotten potato mixed in with my mash potatoes. It was sickening to find this black lump hidden in the bottom of my mashed potatoes bowl. My husband ordered their vegetable of the day which was broccoli and carrots which were served raw (no hint of even being steamed). I emailed the company to show them the pictures with no response. Yes, we went to Texas roadhouse this past Saturday before Father's Day. We had a long wait, which was OK. We expected that our waitress was less than perfect. She did not know what a white Russian was and she said no we don't have that she was not very attentive, but my son got a ribeye steak and he said it was the best thing steak he has ever had. I got the catfish fried. It was a mistake. Why get catfish in a steakhouse my daughter got a filet mignon that was perfect. Will we go back again? My boyfriend and I came here on a busy Friday night. Which is expected. We had a little bit of a wait, no problem. Everyone was very kind except for our waiter. He was bartending a working tables. But his attitude was not it. He walked away from my boyfriend mid sentence when attempting to order. He was judging with what we ordered and made a snarky comment about when we were sitting there. The sweet potato with cinnamon butter was very nice. The side salad was generous and the house made dressing was delicious. The house rolls were tender and flavorful. My orange crush was made with fresh squeezed and the pour was generous. Sweet tea was freshly brewed and very good. Our server was perky and efficient and added to the pleasant evening. Texas Roadhouse is our favorite place for a fantastic Filet dinner. Love the ambiance as soon as you walk in. They have a case of all the steaks that are cut and you can choose your own. Staff is ALWAYS fantastic! Friendly, they know how to make small talk with a customer. Will go out of their way to make sure your experience is fantastic. I have NEVER gotten a filet that I couldn't cut with a fork! That's how tender they are. We've never had to send one back because it wasn't done to our specifications! We've never needed to send ANYTHING back, appetizers, entrees, vegetables, you name it, it's always delicious and the proper temperature! Went in on a Thursday evening around 6:30pm ordered a ny strip and my parter had a chicken sandwich. My steak was extremely fatty but tasted fine. Very chewy though. My salad looked like it was missing some things and like it spilled and was sloppy put back together. However, my partners sandwich looked and smelled good. Our server was good. She was polite and caring. The issue was this: we were seated in a booth right behind a POS system. There were about four employees standing there right behind me talking LOUD, laughing and making loud "woo" sounds not about sports or anything that was on TV just in talking to each other, talking about TikTok, talking about other tables and what was going on at those tables. They all had the little microphones in their ears i'm not exactly sure what their job was, but they looked extremely young. I thought maybe they were just standing there for a second observing things, but they stood there the entire time I was eating my meal so when I needed something, I turned around and asked them since they're basically in my ear, can I have a box? Can we have the check stuff like that? They seemed highly annoyed quickly throw a box at me and then went back to their talking. I know good employees are hard to come by these days. People don't raise their kids right to respect authority to respect their job, and managers are afraid to discipline their employees, so I just wanted to share my experience as a former wait staff as a former manager for other cooperate chains. You need to tell your employees that they shouldn't be congregating like it's their day off while they're working in the middle of the restaurant if they wanna talk, they can go in the back go outside or something like that but they shouldn't be standing there right in a customer's here, talking about another table talking about what they saw on TV And standing there the entire time the restaurant was super busy. Took my grandmother out for her 96 birthday dinner today with some of my other family members. Our waitress had the job done right all the way till the end when she forgot to ask us about dessert where I would have had something, but decided against it and my grandmother got something to take home. The song was interesting for a birthday song. My aunt's meal was Portobello mushroom chicken w/ loaded baked potato and green beans, and I had the Grilled Barbecue chicken dinner w/ loaded steak fries and sautéed mushrooms. I have tried on so many occasions to get an order right from this location and for some reason, it's impossible. The last time my family ordered to go, all the orders were botched. We waited two months in hopes they may have fixed the issues but it's just as bad. We ordered a steak medium well, recieved the steak shown in the pictures. Blood came out while cutting it. The broccoli looked yellow, brown and rotting. The wrong steaks were smothered and came with the wrong sides. Nothing went right. We had a group of 12 seniors and the manager said we could only have 2 tables with 12 people?? She said we could put chairs at the end of the table? The customers have walkers etc. There was no way?? Remember coming to this location when it first opened. We fell in love with the rolls back then, how we had something new to eat in the area. But even back then, there was something obvious as we sat at the table cracking open our peanuts: the service was insanely slow. Swung by the first time in awhile since pre-COVID days. The peanuts are gone, which not too mad about because I was eating them in the before times out of hunger because our food took forever. We were served overcooked rolls because they were tough to eat and didn't taste as good as usual. I don't eat meat like I used to so I ordered the country platter where you pick four sides. The house salad's Italian dressing was way too sweet. Then the french fries and rice I ordered were both extremely salty. And, again, the food took a very long time to come out. Without peanuts to sustain us, we kept sipping our drinks. The waitress was good, she refilled them as she saw we were finishing them. A hard no. Noah was our server. He was attentive, friendly, and let us take the time we needed to decide on our food. Our food was delayed, but Noah kept us updated the entire time so we didn't feel like it was an issue. Texas Roadhouse is always fun, it was clean, and well-lit. The server that was behind us (Jayy) had a table that complained about everything and we heard how well he handled it. He was friendly, professional. Our only concern was that our prime rib was done instead of medium. We were hoping for some pink at least and there was none at all. Still tasted great though and we didn't complain to Noah. We know he would have fixed it if we asked because he was so good at being attentive to our table, but we had already waited so long that we didn't want to wait for another prime rib to be prepared.
