We have always loved CPK but don't get to visit often since the closest one is over an hour from home. This was our first time at this particular location. Service was incredible! I believe our server's name was Allie? She mentioned she was new but I never would've known. Very friendly, personable, just overall a great server so absolutely no complaints there and she can make a darn good margarita! I'm so disappointed in the changes to the menu though "Small plates" items are gone which included some of our favorites. The guacamole is now just avocado chunks and corn drenched in oil, it's not guac at all. And the prices seemed pretty steep on very basic entrees. Overall, this location was clean and service was great, nothing wrong with this particular CPK, but with the current menu I can't say it's on the top of our list of places to go back to. We came here seeking a quick, healthy, calorie-controlled lunch. Our expectations were modest considering that it's a chain. One of us got a combo sandwich and salad, and I got a half salad. Calorie control objective may have been met, but honestly we doubt the accuracy of the published nutritional data. It just seemed like more and fattier food. I went to this California Pizza Kitchen on a quiet Tuesday in June. I don't ever choose to sit outside because of the brightness (migraines), so we sat inside. On this hot summer day, the inside was FREEZING!!! I asked two different employees if they could adjust the temperature and was told there was nothing they could do about it. Really? Our waitress was just okay (she misheard my pizza choice but I was okay with the one that came out), but brought us our soup with no spoons. Given how cold the room was, I was worried our soup would be cold before we got any, and our server did not return immediately. I had to hunt down another server to ask for them. All is well when we approach the door and I wouldn't say when we walked in the door because there was no hostess at the stand at all, and when they finally emphasis on finally came to the hostess stand, they seated so when I got here after us. Once we were sat down are waiter was kind of rude and didn't really know much about the food here. I ordered a drink and a water when my drink arrives. It had shit in it, and it was dirty on the outside of the cup and the inside of the cup, and there was shit in the water. What has happened with our Hunt Valley staple?? CPK has always been a good chain restaurant to get pizza or a good salad. And their drink menu is extensive. Our visit last evening was so painful though. The service has gotten awful. The hostess walked into the restaurant with us at the beginning of the shift, and we had to stand in front of her waiting for her to get herself together before she even acknowledged our presence. Then she sent us to a table with another person without a real greeting. We waited and waited for a waiter. After quite a while, someone came to ask if we were helped. When we replied no, they said they would get someone. And that took time. The waiter who served us had a trainee. But he did not seem genuinely happy to be there. The food took a long while, and we had to ask for silverware, napkins etc. The pizza and my Thai salad were good as usual. But the slow and trifling service made us wonder if it's worth it to come again. Maybe just go to the bar, where the wait staff can't avoid you. read more

Actually the worst place I've ever been. The food is decent but that staff is so bad. Our waiter got our sodas wrong at least 4 times, no big deal it was funny at first. We ordered two street corn dips as appetizers. We got our pizzas before our dip. Asked the waiter if our dips were coming she went to check. Came back with the wrong dip so she just totally forgot. Hostesses are just sitting on the floor tapping on their phones. It was not busy at all which makes it more frustrating. All were excellent: pepperoni pizza with Thai salad and vegetables pizza with Caesar salad...and a couple of draft beers. We sat at the bar and our server was pleasant, helpful and attentive. Got a 7in pepperoni pizza and the Tomato Basil Bisque lunch combo and it was great tasting and a good portion for lunch too. This is one of my favorite restaurants. I used to come here every year for my birthday. I normally always get the California Club Pizza. This time I wanted to try something new, and I'm a big fan of Mac and cheese. So I got their Mac and cheese, which was pretty good, it was much better than most restaurants Mac and cheese. I still prefer the Cali club pizza because it's very unique. I got the sangria flight, which was pretty good, but tasted stronger than anticipated. We got the Mexican street corn app. It was pretty good, but you only get 2 small pieces of bread with it. We did not get any of the complimentary bread and oil, even after I asked, but apparently they were out of it. My fiancé and I went here pretty late and had relatively good service. We decided to come here after work since we haven't been here in quite some time. It was pretty quiet and relaxed despite the parking lot being full. We were seated in a booth. The reason I rated them 3 stars is because the restaurant seemed to be out of a lot of items along with the soda machine not working properly and this also impacted the draft beers as well. Kyle and Nate were our servers and despite being out of many things they still make the experience positive. We truly appreciate their hard work and team effort to make the experience great despite mishaps that were beyond their control. In the future I believe the hostess should inform customers of the soda machines being down to keep from the awkward exchange between the server and customers when they are told they are out of items. Those things can impact the server /guest experience. We hope to return again soon and I'll definitely be requesting Nate or Kyle again. They were amazing. read more

Got to the restaurant at 8:50pm on a Wednesday night. Waited about 5-7min for the hostess to seat us (we were the only costumers in the restaurant), after 10-15 minutes the music was turned off (closing time 10:00pm). Our food took about 35-40 minutes to arrive, first was served clearly microwaved tomato soup with splatters all over the serving dish -ordered a bowl, got a cup. Server apologized for the mistake but did not offer to correct it, just walked away. The rest of the food was served shortly after, the apps, salad, pizza and main dishes -all at the same time. All of the appetizers (4) and the pizza were cold. We paid the bill and on the way out we saw and complained to the manager (Kareem) which didn't even apologize. We have been costumers at CPK Hunt Valley for about 18 years, used to go there weekly for many years. For the past few years their service has declined tremendously, which is a shame because we used to enjoy their food. Place needs new management and better trained servers. read more

Do you see how the Margherita pizzas in the pictures look completely different when compared to the ones I received? Yeah. They used shredded mozzarella and not sliced mozzarella, and TWICE. The cheese had a cheddar-like taste, making it another restaurant suspect of being a place that mixes cheddar with mozzarella. Whatever it is, it's made the pizzas have a nauseatingly pungent flavor. At the very least the servers were respectful in behavior, but who's to say she was not at fault for the discrepancies in my order? Only God would know. Visited your business at Hunt Valley Town Center on Sunday 10/12/25 for a quick bite and was disgusted by the presence of your establishment. Your floors are absolutedly filthy! As a professional floor cleaner for major restaurants, you cannot say that the appearance of dirt on your floors happened on the same day! I can tell that no one has cleaned your floors in awhile. There were black gum spots everywhere, including the uncleaned stinky restroom. Unless your cleaning service up and dissapeared, I suggest you hire a professional cleaning service and take care of this problem pronto! This is not a good look. The "welcome mat" as you enter the front door covered in filth should give everyone an idea of how negligent your restaurant is as far as cleaning is concerned. The food was not that great. So, I won't visit your restaurant again and will pass the word onto my family and friends about the condition with the dirtiness at your restaurant. I don't need any one to contact me as I know you will not address the problem. If you care about your customer, please clean your restaurant, its the least you can do!!!! Have a nice day! read more

We have been coming here for years and have never had any issues. The food was great (thanks to the chef). However, our server, Jayden was below subpar. I've never experienced such horrible service, not even at a fast food restaurant. We came tonight to celebrate my husband's birthday and were really looking forward to our favorite dessert. We ordered drinks and apps initially and he asked "can I take the menus is that all?". Excuse me? Then we ordered the spicy chipotle chicken pizza that comes with the green sauce on side. He brought the pizza to the table and we had to ask for the sauce. My husbands' drink glass was empty and not once did he ask if he needed a refill. Even when my husband asked for water, Jayden was rushing away from our table. There were 11 tables seated in total at the time (not all his) and he was tending to the one table behind us. We ordered apps and were reciprocated with "is that it? Can I take the menus?" We had 1slice of pizza and decided to take the rest to go so we could have dessert. I asked for a to go box and he rushed and said "cool ready for the check?". It almost seemed as though we were an inconvenience and he had to rush away from our table. I've worked as a restaurant manager and server myself for many years. The service was truly horrible. We are of color and the tables he was focusing his energy on was Caucasian. I give CPK at this location a 3.5/5. We've ordered the Spicy Chipotle pizza and the classic Barbecue Chicken pizza. Both pizzas were good. For the price of $17 per pizza (they were medium sized pizzas to me), was an ok price. I've always wanted to try CPK since I like their frozen BBQ chicken pizza. The frozen pizza tasted very similar to the one at the restaurant, but I would say the quality of the restaurant version is better. We were given small plates for the pizzas, and they were both dirty. The service was super friendly but kind of slow. I'm still glad we tried their pizzas! Service started off on a positive note, but our server eventually went MIA - meaning no such thing as a drink refill. We thought the hostess (in her sparkly jeans) might be helpful with our simple request, but she chose to do nothing and instead chat by the front door with other employees. Early telltale signs of crumbs on the table and chairs should have been our clue that this place has gone downhill. As for ambiance- It was empty for a Saturday lunch. Sad. I absolutely love this place. The food is a 10/10 always. The service is amazing and the people are so nice, i've never had a bad interaction with anyone that works there. I have also never had anything on the menu that was bad in the slightest bit. Every time i bring someone there i tell them the food is amazing and when they take a bite they are astonished. I've been here over 10 times and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is fantastic, and every employee I've encountered has been knowledgeable and friendly. Their "bar" is actually a long and low countertop which means children can legally sit as well so super family friendly! I had, and almost always have, the Thai Crunch Salad (this is the half size). I love it! It's light yet filling - the perfect salad! I will say it does have a little kick to it, so be aware if you don't like spice. I also had the Szechwan Chicken Dumplings, which is another favorite of mine, but was so hungry I forgot to snap a picture first! Also pictured here is the tomato basil bisque and the happy hour chicken lettuce wraps! One last recommendation: ordering your pizza with the cauliflower crust. Fantastic! read more

My son had the day off and this is the only place he wanted to go. CPK is a family favorite and we are always excited when we live by one. This one isn't exactly in our backyard but it's in a nice little outdoor shopping complex. So we made a nice little afternoon of it. I'm going to be honest and say that the last couple of times we've gone the waitstaff hasn't been the best. But this time was pretty good. Especially considering that it was our waitress's 2nd day on the job. I'm pretty sure there were only two people waiting tables too. It's really low staff right now. But they're doing okay. The wait to get a table was about 15 minutes with about 1/4 of the dining room full. Food was great as always. You can always count on CPK to be delish. Plus, it's pumpkin cheesecake time! Of course the icing on the cake was that it's my birthday month. So my pizza was free. I think the most bazar thing about the whole experience for me was paying through the app. You don't have to do this. No one suggested it to me. But I was just clicking around and saw the option. So I thought I'd try it out. It's pretty easy and it even figures out the tip for you and you can choose to add it or not. It was just weird when the waitress came over to give us our box though. I told her I just paid through the app and she just had to trust me. She said someone had just walked off the day before without telling her and she thought they hadn't paid.
