The prices are affordable! I didn't personally eat here but my sister did and she enjoyed her food. I did taste the french fries and they were good. I also tasted the sweet potato pie that was yummy as well. The staff is friendly here. We will visit again. read more

The fried chicken was good! Fried to perfection but still juicy inside and flavorful. But that was about the only redeeming thing about this place, sadly. The place is dirty, first of all. The service is slow and the employees aren't the friendliest. And the fries weren't cooked well and had zero taste. I also tried the collard greens and macaroni and cheese. The greens were bitter and the macaroni and cheese was too thick. I don't think I'll be coming back here. read more

My son and I stopped in on our way back to CT. I ordered a 10 piece whole wing box and an order of onion rings which we shared. I also asked to taste the cole slaw and the owner generously gave me a small container for free. The chicken was cooked to order so it took 15 or 20 minutes but it was hot and tasty. The chicken breading was plain and did not appear to have any herbs and spices but was still good. The onion rings were also very tasty with whole batter dipped onion rings and no frozen chopped and formed onion rings. The cole slaw was typical like you could get at any grocery store deli. I consider KFC the gold standard for good cole slaw and their cole slaw fell far short. The store menus list their chicken and fish offerings but no mention for their other items such as pizza and gyros. You just have to know I guess. My biggest complaint was that the store appeared dirty. All the tables were soiled and we had to ask the waitress to wipe one off for us. The floor was dirty and the wood benches were dirty and needed a good scrubbing. The windows also were filthy. We did not use the restroom so I cannot comment. I recommend to close for a day and do a deep clean of the store. There were many take-out customers while we were there but we were the only ones eating in. The servers and the owner were very nice. Guess they are so busy they don't have time to keep the store clean. read more

This place has been a staple in our takeout repertoire for years, but as time goes on the food only gets worse and the service is becoming atrocious. Today I ordered a pizza with a friend, and was told to pay separately was an extra 2$ charge. Which would bring our almost 19 dollar bill in to a 21 dollar bill. This was bothersome, but we enjoy what we ordered so we purchased it. This place is awesome, I've eaten here twice now and both times I haven't been let down. I got the cheesesteak, fries and jumbo half and half. Awesome half and half, the cheese steaks are very filling. I would recommend getting the jumbo size drink because you are going to be disappointed if you walk out of the restaurant and don't have more of their delicious half and half. The staff is super friendly, I called in my order about 15 mins before they were about to close for the day and instead of blowing me off the owner was very nice, and made the effort to fit my order in before closing! Made an order on grubhub, was promised to be delivered at 6pm. The ordered was not delivered until 6:40. I called twice about the order and requested a refund which I was denied. I called grubhub who also contacted the company. The company had two different lies about why the food was late which were unrelated to what they told me. They still never refunded my money. WISH I could give more stars!!!! With so many other chicken places around. This place is amazing! I absolutely love the food and ppl who own this business!!! The food melts in your mouth! Chicken falls off the bone!! The seasoning on the chicken is their own recipe and omg it's just like no other!!! You can tell they put in time to prep and make sure each person is taken care of! The chicken is always fresh! The subs are nice sizes and always tastes great! The platters are very good! And the prices are very responsible for how great the food is! The chicken was ok but that was about it. I was looking forward to some finger lickin chicken but it tasted like Chinese chicken. Chinese chicken is good, but I wasn't expecting it to taste like that. Aside from the chicken, I had fries, collard greens and Mac n cheese.... the fries tasted like plain fries you get from the grocery store and the collard greens and Mac n cheese just broke my little heart! It was not good at all! The collard greens had so much juice in it I thought I was eating soup for a min and the Mac n cheese....I just can't explain how awful that was. Decides to stop by here on my way to NY to grab a quick bite. To my suprise I was pretty disappointed, not only did the food take nearly 20 mins to make, but there was not mechanism of tracking each customer's order. When the order was finally prepared, the chicken was pretty crusty. It felt as it if was fried longer than it should have been. Living in NY I've been to some really good fried chicken places and can tell you this place is far from it. On the flip side, the owner did seem really nice and so did the staff. They seem to have a pretty strong customer base who are regulars and it was evident with the flurry of customers they had. read more
