Tonight, I came in with my in-laws for a Sunday dinner. Everybody wanted prime rib, so we asked the server "Do you have rare to medium rare prime rib?" She said absoutely. When the order came out, the beef was med well to well done. Everybody but me sent it back, as I was hungry. The manager appeared and told us it was rare and she had none less cooked. She also asked if we had ever had prime rib before. She then offered us ribeyes and asked if we had ever eaten a ribeye. She kept interrupting my in-laws and was very rude and condescending. The server apologized for the managers behavior. Bizarre. The manager offered no apology and didn't offer anything. read more

I'm so glad we finally have one of these in Flint. You could tell that it was a newer restaurant and that people were still learning, but everyone is extremely friendly and our service was very good. I got the chicken critters which were very good, but could have been slightly crispier, but they still tasted great. They've only been open less than a week, so in time I'm sure it will be another great place that I'll visit often. read more

My wife and I have tried this place twice. The first time our "Medium" steaks arrived terribly over cooked to the point of being charred through! The second time we were completely ignored by the wait staff and a manager for over 15 minutes until we left without ever even getting to order a drink! read more

I think they are trying too hard. They have almost everything copied from Logan's Roadhouse but the music cranks and everyone stops and starts dancing a line dance. My man's steak was overdone, my drink garnished wrong. Our server asked would I like sugar or salt rimmed glass I said salt and it was brought back with sugar. To rectify he brought me a little cup of salt to dip my finger in. Also they prepare their potatoes and sweet potatoes differently, they roll them in bacon grease to make them stay moist. I found that out after calling and complying to a manager. So there's a tip for you if you eat your skins where nutrients are you're (mine was a sweet potato so it made it odd and bitter I couldn't place taste until told) so once again you're getting hidden calories that they don't tell you about. And it truly wasn't very good at all. We had to leave quickly because I was in severe pain. I didn't try my meal until later that night and that's when I called. The manager didn't really make any offers to make us come back just said to come in and she'd make sure we had a great server and were taken care off. I think they need to quit concentrating on dancing and learn how to get orders correct. My man however lined the atmosphere and the yeast rolls just like at Logan's. read more

My wife and I have been there twice. We go around noon on the weekends and have great food and service everytime. Some people just like to complain and can never be satisfied. They are just looking for a free meal. To those I say, go someplace else and quit the whining. read more

Worst food I've possibly ever had. The steak wasn't that flavorful and was extremely flat. It had more fat than actual meat. Really disappointing, because when you first walk in the steaks do look really high quality. read more

I went here on a Friday night. First time I've been to this restaurant. It was busy, but no table wait. Great, quick and nice server who kept up on refills. However we order the Cactus blossom thing and the sauce with it- well was pretty bland and weird. We got ranch with it- it got better. My friends ordered steaks, and me, being not a huge steak person, ordered a burger. When the burger came, it looked normal and delicious. Plenty of friends and the mayonnaise I had asked for. However once I started eating it, the patty was extremely dry, and the burger was downright gross. Sure, I went to a "steakhouse" and got a burger- but the meat was the problem. A steakhouse which cooks beef should be able to make a beef patty correctly. On top of me feeling ripped off from ordering it, it was also extremely expensive. read more

We love Texas Roadhouse! We have been eating at them for a few years and this new one is great. We've been here twice since they opened up and have had excellent food and service. We will return. BTW, it is noisy and the staff does the line dancing, but those are minor irritations. read more

Was seated quicker than quoted, food was delicious (ribs, filet & sirloin) and cooked perfectly. Our server Fernando was so much fun and attentive to our tables needs. Will definately be back. read more

We visited Friday afternoon around 4:30 and it was very busy. Greeted and seated immediately. Our server, Julie was great. Filet mignonette cooked to perfection. Excellent meal and service. We will return soon. read more

Texas Road House is a great place to have dinner with your family after a long day at work, or shopping, etc. You can order chicken, pork, steaks, seafood, hamburgers, and sandwiches. So, overall they have a great selection of choices of food to choose from, and the prices are just right for what they serve. It does have some drawbacks. Some of those include that you can only have dinner not lunch sense they are only open from 4-10pm(Monday-Thursday), and you can't make a reservation, but you can call early to put your name on the list. At Texas Road House they have a friendly greeting host/hostess. Every time that I have been the staff hasn't been anything but friendly and nice. I have eaten here many times before with my family, and each time we have a little different dining experience each time. We got there about 4:15pm and if you get here at 4pm they aren't busy at all. You get seated right away, which is nice. Anything later than 5pm you're waiting like 20+ minutes. Our server was James and overall he was great. He was knowledgeable about the menu and suggested the specials for the day. He also suggested drinks, but never asked us if we wanted an appetizer. He also checked back with us occasionally throughout our meal, but towards the end was getting a little pushy on us leaving. I want to say he asked us twice for boxes when we still had food on our plates, and he never invited us back. I ordered the 6oz steak with grilled shrimp and our food arrived in a timely matter, I want to say we waited 10 minutes for our food. Our food did arrive just like we ordered. My dish was a good dish; the only thing that could have been different about it was that I ordered my steak to be medium-rare, and it came out almost rare. I didn't send it back because it was still okay for me to eat, and I was hungry. Overall, Texas Road House is a great restaurant to dine at with your family. Plus, they have amazing rolls and on the hour the staff does a country-dance. read more

All I can say is Awesome..the people complaining obviously have never been to a Texas Roadhouse..will be back several times over.

Went for the first time on Sunday April 24,2016. Excellent service, great food ! Will definitely will be going again.

There is a group of us (usually 12 or so) that go to eat after Church on Sunday. We were excited to have another place to go. All the seating in the place is booths so we were not able to sit together. It took 30 minutes for them to seat us. In spite of us having a great waitress (Julie K) the service was very slow. It was busy (probably because it was new) but what a waste of great real estate. The food was so-so. As busy as they were it seemed out of touch to have all the staff do a line dance in the middle of the place when the food was not served and the drinks were not refilled. I will give it another try but it was not up to contemporary standards as far as I am concerned. read more

Food was good, service was good, but the music was WAY too LOUD!! Interior is very dark. If the atmosphere was better, I would definitely give it a better rating, but it's not worth the headache you go home with! read more

I gave this place two stars. The wait staff was friendly and the drinks were good, but it is noisy and I found the dancing kind of silly.We had a party of seven and were given a booth that we were squeezed into and could hardly move our arms. I ordered the fried chicken. It was fried and I was able to find some thin chicken under a mass of thick batter - so technically I guess it was "fried chicken". I think they should have described it as a chicken breast pounded so thinly that it can cover a plate. Then we top it with masses of our thick breading, and throw it in our deep fryer until it looks like an unrecognizable mess. After that, we bring it to your table with a side of milk gravy that a spoon could stand upright with no help. Your table mates can have two reactions: 1.)What is that? 2.)Boy! Is that a lot of food! Yes, a lot of nasty food. After two bites, I was finished with Texas Roadhouse forever. read more
